I believe this blog is more about the people here who come to chat than it is about some stupid sexist band. But, I like the fact that there is a place for everyone to vent about these particular sexists bands, as well as other issues that might be on your mind. I think this blog has grown a lot.
In the past few months we've seen another celebrity lose it and start screaming racist and sexist things (Mel Gibson) and there was some discussion about that too. I personally don't see too much of a difference between Mel Gibson screaming the N word and talking about rape and "bitches" MSI screaming the N word and talking about rape and "bitches". Hate speech is hate speech. Except Mel Gibson seriously wants to hurt people and MSI just seem to think it's funny. It still creates an atmosphere that welcomes hate and violence towards women, by laughing about it and thinking it's so funny.
One thing I want to say here is that I believe the regulars here are too smart to honestly believe that Gerard Way's hair color or other random things has anything to do with pregnancy. I see a lot of trolls coming in pretending to be "someone from VVs" and putting forward these ridiculous theories. I think they're trying to make people here look like they are illogical.
And I know that many people here have spoken out against calling them "fat" or "ugly". So many of you have posted over and over again how you don't care about that. You call people out on their behavior, and things they can help, things they do on purpose..... not how they look. That's what I like about this place.
But from what I can see a lot of the trolls keep bringing those things up, trying to reduce this blog to their level. I said it before and I'm saying it again. The regulars here are not like that and probably know what you're up to.
If you don't like it here, that's fine, you can stay at all your other blogs. Or you can enter into an intelligent conversation. But if all you have to offer is "LOL hair color = pregnancy" or "LOL that woman is FAT" then just know, officially, this blog doesn't welcome that and neither do the regulars.

One of my friends who is still an MCR fan sent me a link to the Youtube clip of Gerard's interview at Comic Con, which lasted about 30 seconds. Basically all Gerard said was that he wasn't doing any comic this year but MCR had finished their new record. So my question is, what the hell was he doing on Dark Horse's panel at Comic Con in the first place if not promoting the new record. I thought he always said he wanted to keep the comics and the band separate. Oh well. Another one of his lies, I suppose.

There's only one person I know of in these blogs who has that problem of switching random words around. Remember when she said LynZ was dirty and she needed to "buy some say" instead of"buy some soap"? She does it all the time. "Speak eagle" instead of "spread eagle" is classic MJ.
I don't know what part of the brain takes care of speech but there's only one person here who has a problem with word switching like that.

I'd just like to say that I really enjoy this blog when people are talking about other subjects like movies and actors. I'm glad we can branch out to other things because I think many of you are really intelligent and have good taste.
So, in keeping with that, for all you JGL lovers out there, here is JGL singing a cover of "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon" that somebody posted in the comments of a JGL post on ONTD. It's amazing. I didn't even know the guy could sing.
He's gorgeous, a brilliant actor and he looks better in a suit then almost any other guy on the planet. Now I find out he can sing. He probably dances too. Is there no end to his talents? Is he even human?

Oh I know! He played his role to perfection. I loved the part during Eames' dream, after the avalanche, when he yelled, "Couldn't he have dreamed up a Goddamn beach?" That line was epic.
And you know what else, his grief seemed very real, too. He's fun, but he's actually a really sincere actor as well.
Yes, the parts with his father were very poignant and real, as were his scenes with "Uncle Peter/Eames". He managed to change the audience's perception of his character from a spoiled, ridiculously privileged rich young man in the beginning to the most sympathetic character (in my opinion, anyway, although Dom was a close second) in the film. That couldn't have been an easy task.
Seriously, the film would not have worked at all with the wrong actor playing Robert.
Totally agree. One thing I noted about the movie was that it was very sincere where it could have been cynical and gone with stereotypes.
Same went for Saito. He could have easily been a bad guy - but you kind of wanted everyone to win.
I was sort of sympathetic to Dom, but OTOH he was so secretive and he went ahead with the mission without even warning his crew of the danger.
When you think about it, there really was no bad guy.
I agree. By the time the film was over you wanted everything to work out for everyone.
And Saito was awesome. I liked the chemistry that Ken Watanabe (I hope I spelled that right) and Leo had. They played very well off each other.

I don't think Kapunua looks like Lindsey at all.
What I do think is that Kapunua is beautiful. She's tall and fit and has lovely hair and eyes. But beyond that, she has a vibrancy and a zest for life that makes her even more beautiful. Add to that her intelligence and the love and loyalty that she shows her friends and family and I think you can safely say that she is beautiful inside as well as out.
And I really like talking about movies with her. :)

Heh... I saw them with MCR back in November, then again a few days ago. That review's the closest I've seen to what it's like... There are no words for it. i went to projekt revolution on aug 22nd, when MSI was playing we seen him ont he side of the stage, so my friend and i and about a bazillion other fans were over there, calling his name and asking him to turn around. he ignored us. totally disowned us. and, i mean, i know he has a personal life and stuff, but there is no way you an just disown the very same people who made my chemical romance what it is today.
and i've heard other rumors, too, about the real reason why eliza broke it off with him.
apparently he is back doing drugs, which i can totally believe, because lyn-z is known for doing cocaine as well as the whole MSI band, and when I seen him at Projekt Revolution he was crazy and out of control- just like he was when he was on drugs when I seen them in 04. apparently eliza was trying to get him off of the drugs, but he wouldn't and he thought she was ruining his life, so he stopped answering her calls and took off the ring.

There was a post by someone claiming to be one of Eliza's friends that was circulating on the internet right after the breakup who claimed that Gerard broke up with Eliza because he was back on drugs. People thought it might possibly by Miss E who wrote it. Those people from zomgmcrumors were certain it was Miss E.

Actually, it's not. I've been around a handful of these blogs and I've seen it quite a few times. One person even got caught doing it, accidentally signing in, hoping no one saw it, deleting the post, and then reposting it anonymously.

The truth is that Siobhan takes an attitude with anyone who shows the slightest bit of disagreement with her. Everyone remains civil but her. And then she does complain that everyone is "bullying" her. When in fact it's just a matter of the majority of people disagreeing.
I would like to acknowledge that I am now beginning to see a distinct split amongst the behavior of the anons here - some of whom are actually arguing intelligently. I have been shown respect and I very much appreciate that.
I also wanted to address, the remark that was made several pages ago regarding the "cute guy (or girl) pass." I'm not sure I agree with this one, otherwise Clinton, Tiger and Gibson wouldn't have been crucified by the press. I think it's just a matter of where everyone's personal line is.
I think Frankie probably should've retracted some of his more inflammatory statements, but I wasn't personally offended by any of them. I understood that no one was suggesting that Snooki or Kim G. should ACTUALLY be punched in the face or that a woman should REALLY shove a coat hanger up her va-jay-jay.
Regarding Bob and his use of the word "cunt," it wasn't directed at anyone, so I don't think he owes anyone an apology, but maybe that's just because it's a favorite word of mine as well (hurled generally at inanimate objects and once in awhile people who are extremely radical.) My son personally hates the word.

Lady Gaga has talent. Lindsey doesn't. Therefore, people are going to question Lindsey's claims of being a role model. That makes perfect sense to me. People with talent will always be viewed differently than people who don't have it.
The way I see it is that Siobhan just has issues with female nudity in general. She dislikes Lady Gaga's image because of the way she dresses.
I don't like Lady Gaga either. I don't have a problem with the way she looks or dresses; I just don't like Pop music, but I don't have anything against Gaga personally.
