She'd lose more than half of her posters then and there if she did. How many named people post here? Three? This blog would die a fast death without the respect for anonymous.
There lies the power of anonymous. Whomever betrays that betrays themselves. Still it might be better than all of these sad guessing games that name the same people over and over again. They never got it right at Mayo's. What makes them think they'll get it right here?
Why are you people still even talking about Wendy and Mya? They should have nothing to do with your lives. From what I've heard they're both living and enjoying their lives. As are most of the people from that other blog. I suggest you stop obsessing over them and start enjoying your own life.
No. That's you 3:49. A tracker can prove it. It has every other time you accused an anon like yourself of being Wendy or one of your other perceived enemies at Mayo's blog. Time and time again you were shown to be wrong. Why don't you go away and stop making an ass of yourself. You've been doing it for years. I would think that your ass would be tired of being wrong and making your asininity so obvious by now.
Some people just can't admit when they've gotten their ass good and kicked. No matter how many broken ribs, fractured bones they have or how much blood they've lost they just won't stay down. There comes a point when all the audience recognizes that it's not the fighting spirit. It's stupidity. It's cowardice. It's bad sportsmanship. It's the inability to admit defeat, pick yourself up and gracefully move on.
Or you could just call them a troll while you're bleeding all over them. That'll work. For what point and what purpose I don't know. It does seem to make the simple minded happy. Simple minded people don't like being challenged in any way. Only the strong greet a good challenge with a smile.
Cloud Atlas (the book) is brilliant. Although my guess is that a lot of people here won't see the film because of Yellowface, even though the actors cross multiple gender and racial lines.
Personally, I'm a little skeptical about the film. I love Whishaw, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving and James D'Arcy, and I think the film will be worth seeing, but I don't think it will live up to the book.
One thing I'm curious about in Cloud Atlas is the character of Rafael. I don't see him listed on IMDB, although Ben Whishaw is playing the role of a "Cabin Boy". I wonder, will they cut out that bit of the storyline or if Whishaw is supposed to represent Rafael?
Has anyone here read the book besides me? Probably not. :(
The fuck is all this talk of asses getting kicked and bleeding all over people? On a fucking blog?
God, but some of you assholes are sick and twisted. This is why you get called Mya and Wendy. Whoever the fuck you are, you really take this blog shit too seriously.
I was reading Greatdismal's twitter feed and you would be happy to know 6:53 that Cloud Atlas has knocked fifty shades off it's perch as a best seller in indie bookstores.
I think when sad ass bitches from Mayo's are coming around trying to hijack this one for attention, it's time to shut it down.

If you needed any more proof that it is Wendy spamming here, trying to drum up attention, she just posted her facebook info to her Twitter. It is SO FUNNY that the "anonymous" was here yesterday talking about how no one could find her facebook.
What a sad sack. Here, have some attention you poor thing.
Agreed, 9:33. America lost so much credibility with the Bush presidency, and now it seems they're running someone who is just as dull witted, corrupt, and tied up in crazy American religion.
I feel for those of you with 21st century minds if that throwback to the 1800's is elected.
I've read Cloud Atlas and seen the film, 6:58. Both were excellent, although you will do better if you take the film on its own merits as opposed to comparing it to the book.
I will give you a warning: The love story between Frobisher and Sixsmith is unbearably heartrending in the film. Whishaw and D'Arcy deserve so many accolades for their performances. The film is worth seeing for that segment alone.
All of the main actors in Cloud Atlas play multiple roles. Since there is a section of the film that is comprised of people in Korea, in order for the stars of the film to have roles in that section, they had to assume roles of Asians. Many people are upset over that, which is understandable, given how few roles there are for Asian actors.
However, the entire film is cross-cast with those actors. They cross both racial and gender lines, with Asian characters playing Caucasian roles in some parts, men playing women, blacks playing whites, etc. The directors say it's art, some people say it's racism.
I intend to give the film a watch, even though I wish it could have avoided "yellowface". I don't think the intention was racism, but I still have reservations.
I would have been okay with the casting of white actors in the Korean parts had a Korean actor (John Cho maybe?) been cast in the role of Hae-Joo Chang/Adam Ewing. That would have shown true commitment to diversity if an Asian man had a lead role (Ewing) as well as a secondary role (Hae-Joo).
Doona Bae's role as Sonmi is huge, but a lot of the issues people have with the movie would have been diffused if there were at least one other meaty role for an Asian actor.
Thanks for clearing that up, nonnie. Yeah, I can definitely see that being offensive. I'll give it a looksee, but I'm really not into that aspect of it.
I intend to give the film a watch, even though I wish it could have avoided "yellowface". I don't think the intention was racism, but I still have reservations
I don't think so either, as the story relates to reincarnation some of the characters are reborn in different genders and race in each of their subsequent lives.
And one of the central themes revolving in the book is about prejudice, oppression and racism and how it never really goes away, it's just in a different form in a different time.
And one of the central themes revolving in the book is about prejudice, oppression and racism and how it never really goes away, it's just in a different form in a different time.
Exactly.
Each main character deals with prejudice and oppression in some way, either experiencing it, or fighting against it. The fact that the characters are all reincarnated into different genders and races, but are, in effect, the same "soul", reinforces the fact that we are all human and should all be afforded the same dignities.
I understand that minorities are under represented in film, and I get why some people don't like the yellowface in this movie, but I think this particular film is trying to make the point that race shouldn't matter. Of course it does matter, but I can't really fault the people in the film for the message they are trying to send.
*Although I do agree that it would have been awesome if John Cho could have played Adam Ewing.

Just wait til the third trimester. Nothing is comfy. The sciatica is the worst part, because you can's lie on either side for more than a couple of hours. Plays hell with sleep. It's such a relief when the baby is born and you don't have all that pressure on your hips anymore. But then you have a baby waking up at all hours of the night. Your dark circles have dark circles.
It's wonderful to have a new baby, 1:22, but if you go into it thinking it's going to be all about baby clothes and decorating the nursery, you're in for a rude awakening.
The people who make the best parents are often those who know what they're getting into.
I've had two children, and the first one was damn hard because I had no idea what to expect. The second one was easier because I was at least prepared for the sleepless nights of the first three months or so.
4:50 I have a feeling that anon has their eyes wide open and is aware of future sleepless nights, fatigue etc, however you can hardly fault them for their excitement about baby clothes and the like as this would be (I'm guessing) a whole new experience for them!
And you know, as with everything you learn through your own experiences.
My husband was so excited for the birth of my daughter! He spent hours painting, wallpapering, babyproofing, etc. He was great all during my pregnancy too. He would rub my back and feet, and he always told me how beautiful I looked with my ginormous baby bump. Those were great times.
I had sciatica the last two months too, and it was so hard to sleep. I spent most nights in the recliner in the TV room.
Unfortunately, my husband was zero help when the baby came along. He had no idea how to handle her, and she had colic. The first three months were very hard. I was lucky though, because my mother was around a lot to help out.
New babies are hard, but things usually work out okay.
Hiya Welshie babes, it's bloody freezing oop north. I'm sure the snow won't be long coming now. How's things an the Welshie side of the kingdom?
Congrats pregnant anon, you'll be just fine. I'm sure everything will be great, just hang in there and try not to worry. A hint for getting your baby to sleep, when I was a baby mum used to stroke my eyebrows and I just could not keep my eyes open when she did that, never failed.
