Denial of impact:

This is a really old link but it's pretty good and it reminded me of some of what people say here in defense of these people.
I think the same thing goes for misogyny and homophobia presented in these lyrics, comments and lifestyles too.

I think the only real point she made was that we aren't perfect so we shouldn't throw stones. But it's just human nature to criticize, especially those people who have let us down or that we used to love but don't anymore.
She would have done much better if she'd just come here and said that. But when she started bringing up things like the girl on girl kiss and the way popstars dress, that's when she went way, way off track.

In a way you have to blame Gerard for the way Lindsey's image has been manipulated. He probably didn't want to appear like he married an idiot and wanted fans not to pay so much attention to the lyrical content of MSI songs imo. He most likley played a great deal with the Kerrang interviews and coached her on talking about what a 'role model' she is to young girls, things she never spoke about in public until her marriage to him. Also made a giant fangirl (who now doesn't appear very credible imo) out of that tastittv person.

If you did not understand what Kapunua was saying then I feel sorry for you. She was responding to a person who did actually say that Hitler was "disrespectful" of the Jewish people.
