Women's rights! Real feminism...

Women's Rights at Change.org.

I thought you all might like this web page. I guess this isn't much of an MCR related post (they bore me to tears) but maybe it is, seeing as MCR have done a 180 (to quote a person who recently posted here) especially on feminism. (Also obviously on racism, homophobia etc...)

Next time you're getting mad at Lyn-Z because of her talking about how it's OK for chicks not to be really talented, how her flashing her panties is an inspiration to female musicians, or you're getting mad because of how Gerard treated his female fans, you can visit this page and see that there are people out there still fighting this kind of behavior!

Who do you admire? Who is your feminist archetype? Name them and give me 5 minutes and I will build a case against them. It will be shaky but so is yours.
We are all just humans.
How would you hold up to the magnify glass that you hold up to other people? Not well. You couldn't handle it, an obvious statement because you are all anonymous. The people you write about so faithfully do not care and why would they? You are not a jury of their peers. YOU are not their peers. You are bitter, lazy, unaccomplished observers. If you were actively pursuing your dreams you would not have time or the desire to participate here. Bitter fact.

So uh... Lyn-z co-wrote the lyrics for the new album with her lovely little hubby.

I take it all back, it's obvious who wears the pants in that union...

9.12, stop trying to derail. Just because 'everyone else is probably a little bit racist' doesn't actually make it okay for people to be racist. Same with sexism.

Glad to know that people can get away with making nasty jokes about racial slur words and violence against women and they'll only be held accountable 'by their peers'. Are you living in a 100 year old bubble?

You are bitter, lazy, unaccomplished observers. If you were actively pursuing your dreams you would not have time or the desire to participate here. Bitter fact.

And with much the same logic, if MCR were busy pursuing their dreams and actually getting the album done, they wouldn't have time to log into twitter and mock victims of racial and sexualized violence and abuse, would they? No, see, it takes very little time to come online and give your opinion. What's hilarious is that you're still trying to discredit ours instead of accepting that some of MCR's opinions are offensive and letting others have a space to talk about it.

He's writing lyrics with his stupid moron of a wife? Shows who really lacks ANY brains at all.

Excerpt from Nylon Magazine

It is telling that one of the most life-altering thing Way has done marrying Lindsey "Lynz Balluto"--likewise took place on the road. They met in 2002 when My Chemical Romance opened for Balluto's band Mindless Self Indulgence, but didn't hook up until both bands played together on the Projekt Revolution tour 2007. "When I found out we were playing with him I started jogging", says Balluto a graduate of the Pratt Institute. Offers Way "I started dieting". They fell for each other quick and hard marrying two and a half months later backstage at the Corrs Ampitheatre in Denver, Colorado after a concert; an Internet ordained member of tour's promotion team conducted the ceremony. "The next morning" says Way, "we woke up and went to Zales at the mall to get proper rings. I think they were a couple of hundred bucks." My Chemical Romance finished touring soon after the nuptials at which point " I flew with my wife to New Orleans cause they had to play a show" Way shakes his head " So I was on tour with her".

Jogging and dieting? How typical is it that a woman's first desire is to lose weight and fit some ridiculous ideal? Instead of focusing on more important things?

Especially when the guy she's trying to bag* is known for being overweight himself? Do you think he started jogging to impress her?** LMAO.

"Hey, girls, you can be just like me. You don't need a career, just marry one. But first, try to get thin. It's the most important consideration when trying to bag a mate. Also, show your panties a lot and don't bother to be good at anything. I'm such an inspiration!"

Again: What a goddamn tool she is.

*Because seriously, with these two it's all about societal standards, and bagging that "other half."

**Either of them jogging, seriously? With those lungs? LMFAO. Also telling how health isn't quite as important as looking "good" to impress someone.

Balluto, all wide eyes, soft voice and kind disposition-- used to assist artist Ron English and is now currently creating pieces for her first solo show in early September.

Anonymous said...

Soft voice and kind disposition.LOL! Sounds to me GW insisted Nylon Mag talk to Lindsey to promote her and her 'art' show.

Anonymous said...

I don't understand why he doesn't admit he was with Lindsey since 2002 as if it was this big secret that they had no history.

Anonymous said...

Hmm.

While he is so busy promoting his "real" record he also promotes the wife.

How predictable.

And she's a graduate?

Yeeah.

Anonymous said...

I tend to agree with you.

It does appear they may share a very long history.

Anonymous said...

Balluto, all wide eyes, soft voice and kind disposition

When you watch her in her interviews she does not have a soft voice or a kind disposition. This seems like a deliberate attempt to makeover Lindsey and her rough MSI image on the part of G Way.

I read it as Lyn-Z saying she started jogging and Gerard saying he started dieting.

Anonymous said...

I read it that way too. Maybe that's why he got so scary skinny on PR.

And I thought her name was "Ballato"?

Anonymous said...

Both of them seem as insecure as each other. Seriously would you start jogging or dieting to lose weight to grab someone's attention? What happened to personality and getting to know each other.

Anonymous said...

Jogging and dieting sounds more like an excuse to cover up some other bad habits during the tour.

Anonymous said...

When I meet the love of my life I'm going to take up jogging. *smirks*

No, he started backbending to impress her.

She must have been trying to get him back after he broke off from Eliza. Why else would she try to impress him? I think they were an item in 2002.

Anonymous said...

So if Lindsey is writing lyrics for the new record, does this mean she'll get a cut of the songwriting royalties?

Oh, I bet the other guys in the band are going to love the shit out of that.

Lol. Yes, let's be certain to get our facts straight on such an important little detail from a very poorly written piece of pseudo-journalism that was punctuated so poorly that it was difficult to ascertain who was saying what (especially since Lindsey also goes by the name "Way" these days).

*rolls eyes*

Wow, Gerard is even stupider than I thought. Even the fangirls aren't going to like Lindsey co-writing MCR's lyrics. And if this record doesn't live up to their standards, look out Lindsey. There will be legions of fangirls pointing fingers at Lindsey as the reason why.

I'm not sure there is one fully functioning brain between the two of those morons.

Anonymous said...

Just because Gerard and Lyn-Z have been writing lyrics together doesn't necessarily mean those lyrics are going to end up on MCR's new album.

Also, why the big fuss about them talking about dieting/exercise? Agree with it or not, most people like to look/feel at their best when around someone they are attracted to. If someone you admired said that you wouldn't be ripping the shit out of them.

Anonymous said...

I don't find anything particularly wrong with the two of them talking about working out and dieting to be more attractive to the other one. People do that all of the time. It's kind of sad though, because so many people revert to their previous habits after "catching" the girl/guy of their dreams and feeling secure in the marriage/relationship and gain weight. It would be better if they were both maintaining a healthy lifestyle for themselves, not for their partner.

Anonymous said...

so many people revert to their previous habits after "catching" the girl/guy of their dreams and feeling secure in the marriage/relationship and gain weight.

Whoa, that didn't come out right. What I meant to say was:

So many people revert to their previous habits after they "catch" the girl/guy of their dreams because they feel secure in the relationship and as a result, they gain weight.

I just read the full article and about 3/4 of the things Gerard said in it about the new record contradicted nearly everything else he has said in previous articles.

And what of hiring Colleen Atwood to design costumes for them again? I thought they were moving away from that?

It's getting to the point where anything and everything about this band just makes my head hurt. It's not even worth it to point and laugh anymore. I'm just going to forget that MCR exist. I think I'll be a lot happier and certainly more sane.

Anonymous said...

I think Gerard is having an identity crisis. He can't decide whether he wants to be himself (the guy who loves over the top theatrical costumes and concepts) or the guy who Lindsey wants him to be (a rebellious punk rocker who wants to spit on celebrities and society in general).

I don't think it's possible for him to be both. Something's going to have to give.

MCR lost their big "tournament" to Coheed and Cambria, I see.

Let's hear it for the BIGGEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!! COHEED AN CAMBRIA!!!!!

Lulz.

Anonymous said...

I think the new 'costumes' were previwed in those recent photos someone posted in the previous blog- you know, the ones where he was wearing the trenchcoat and the hideous shirt? I think the hair's going to get more Robert Smith-like as well...Remember you heard my predictions here first. ;)

Also, the fact that Coheed won that contest is a joke. They most certainly do not have the biggest fanbase, and the fact that MTV had to go through the poll and weed out thousands of Coheed 'bot' votes says a lot.

Anonymous said...

They also had to weed out some 'bot votes' from the MCR side as well, but not as many.

What it all boils down to are fanbases that take such idiotic things as internet voting polls way too seriously.

Anonymous said...

Even as someone who dislikes MCR I have to admit that they should have had that contest down, and there was no way a relatively little-known band such as Coheed should have won by such a percentage.

Anonymous said...

According to MTV, the March Madness competition between MCR and Coheed and Cambria saw more than 120,000 votes.

Lol @anyone who thinks that 120,000 fans, divided between two bands, is a big deal. Oh, but according to the anon from the last post, the fact that MCR did so well in this poll meant that the new record is going to "blow TBP away" in terms of sales.

I guess the 40,290 fans who voted for MCR are going to buy more than 75 copies apiece? LMFAO.

Anonymous said...

Even as someone who dislikes MCR I have to admit that they should have had that contest down, and there was no way a relatively little-known band such as Coheed should have won by such a percentage.

If you're being realistic about the number of fans that bands have and how many records they sell, there's no way MCR should have made it to the final round of any popularity contest.

Kings of Leon, Pearl Jam, Linkin Park, The White Stripes (just to mention a few) should have done way better.

As an example, KOL sold out a show in Hyde Park (65,000+ tickets) in about a minute. Yet they were eliminated in the first round. Just goes to show that these polls don't mean much of anything.

Anonymous said...

White Stripes fans are too 'cool' to vote in online contests. KOL fans are too busy with their sports teams and cheerleading practice and being celebrities. Pearl Jam fans are too old. I could go on, but I think you get the idea.

Hi. I hope you don't mind me commenting here. I have read this blog on and off for a long time but only commented once before and that was to sympathise with Kapunua.

As regards the jogging and dieting. I personally thought they were joking around you know? When Lyndsey said she'd started jogging I read it as if she was joking and having a bit of a laugh and Gerard then retaliated by saying he'd started dieting. I don't think they were being serious.

Anyway that's what I think.

Maybe I'm wrong. Who knows?

Anonymous said...

Soft spoken for a faux New Yawker and highly soft spoken for Joisey Gerard.

Anonymous said...

I don't mind you commenting here, Welshie.

I kind of agree with you about the jogging/dieting bit. I didn't really see anything wrong with that.

That's not to say that I didn't see anything wrong with the rest of the article. I felt like Gerard contradicted other things he's said about the record way too many times.

I also think it's ridiculous for him to be writing lyrics with Lindsey, unless they're for some project the two of them are working on together and don't have anything to do with MCR.

I agree with the anon who said that Gerard seems to be having trouble reconciling who he wants to be with who he thinks he needs to be in order to be with Lindsey.

He really needs to get that sorted out.

Anonymous said...

guess the 40,290 fans who voted for MCR are going to buy more than 75 copies apiece? LMFAO.

Hahaha! Guess so. MCR are the bestest band in the world LMAO

Anonymous said...

Hello Welshie.

I would agree with that if he hadn't ended that tour a lot thinner. And then continued to become even more emaciated. Just thinking back to the Newcastle gig in Nov 2007, he looked sick. OK people thought he looked beautiful, but for a guy that isn't especially into physical exercise, he was probably half starving himself.

As far as Lindsey goes, she looks like she works out and stays fit and trim anyway. Maybe they were joking but I'm not sure it was far from the truth for Gerard.

Anonymous said...

Just thinking back to the Newcastle gig in Nov 2007, he looked sick. OK people thought he looked beautiful, but for a guy that isn't especially into physical exercise, he was probably half starving himself.

He's been on a gruelling tour for near enough 2 years, I don't think it's controversial to call that exercise and expect him to have lost weight because of it.

Also, I missed where extactly it said Gerard and Lyn-Z were writting lyrics for MCR's new album. Let's not jump to conclusions.

Anonymous said...

*He'd

Anonymous said...

If Lindsey is co-writing the lyrics then we can safely assume that he must have co-written the lyrics with someone else on the previous records and hell, maybe even Matt Cortez must have helped him write the new record as well!

Welshie said...

Thank you 1:39:)
As far as MCR goes I was never a huge fan of theirs. I quite like some of their songs and that's as far as it goes for me. I do tend to listen to British bands more.

Gerard and Lindsey's relationship doesn't interest me one bit to be honest. I can't even sort out my own life, so I won't judge theirs. Though I will say that I think the way he handled his break up with Eliza was disgraceful. Yes he was probably hurting but there was certainly no need for his childish behaviour. I totally lost respect for him.

Anon 1:51 You're quite right he did look like a walking lollipop at one time. I do remember one photo of him I think it was taken backstage somewhere and he looked really ill and tired. So maybe I'm wrong about the dieting.

Anonymous said...

LOL does this mean future lyrics will look like this?

Death before Disco

songwriters: Way Mikey, Way Gerard, Ballato-Way Lindsey, Toro Ray, Iero Frank

Anonymous said...

Also, I missed where extactly it said Gerard and Lyn-Z were writting lyrics for MCR's new album. Let's not jump to conclusions.

The article does not say that Gerard and Lindsey were writing lyrics for the new album. It does say they were together, writing 'reckless and irresponsible lyrics' after they came back from Summer Sonic.

We can't know whether or not those lyrics will or will not be on the new record, but why were they writing lyrics together unless he had the intent of using them somehow? Lindsey doesn't write lyrics for MSI, so I'm assuming that either they were writing MCR songs or songs for one or both of them to use in either a solo or joint project.

Anonymous said...

He's been on a gruelling tour for near enough 2 years, I don't think it's controversial to call that exercise and expect him to have lost weight because of it.

Gerard can be on a gruelling tour forever and gain weight if he chooses too. As in, if he falls off the starvation programme he seems to fluctuate with. Seriously the guy is fucked up with his eating habits/metabolism.

Oh and yes Welshie it was the backstage pic I was referring to.

Also, I missed where extactly it said Gerard and Lyn-Z were writting lyrics for MCR's new album. Let's not jump to conclusions.

Something was mentioned above somewhere, click the link.

Maybe Lindsey will become their new drummer/co-lyricist. After all, she seems to be going to all the interviews and photoshoots these days.

And who cares if she's never played the drums, right? She can use a backing track and show some skin and nobody will even know the difference.

Anonymous said...

The fangirls have no standards. Their standards are whatever Gerard shits out his ass.

kapunua said...

Nope, sorry, I stand by that. It's idiotic and lame to suddenly desire to be thin for a man - or for anyone, but yourself.

Had her 'jogging" or his "dieting" (LMFAO) made either of them healthy? Nope, they both still smoke, AFAIK still drink, and I suspect a hell of a lot worse.

They are superficial morons, the both of them - the fact that it was Gerard who said he was dieting makes him seem even stupider. He would desire to be thin, but still smoke, even after there's a kid in the picture.

It speaks worse of both of them.

kapunua said...

LMFAO, yeah, and he did start to try to do backbends. What an ass.

Anonymous said...

Gerard cracks me up with his "dieting". I'd be more inclined to call it starving himself. He goes from chubby to rail thin faster than anybody I've ever seen and I seriously doubt that he does that all on his own without a little bit of "chemical help" so to speak.

I'd have a lot more respect for both him and Lindsey if they said they went on a health kick when they found out they had a baby on the way. It's much more admirable for two people to want to take care of themselves so they can be around for their daughter than for them to want to become more attractive in order to get a mate.

Anonymous said...

Interesting how you all can dislike two people so much yet you all cling to every word they say in the press, even if it's in jest.

Are you the ones that will go to Gerard's shows (wasting your money) just to later write scathing reviews about them?

Are you the ones who will go to Lynz's art show just to get an unflattering photo of her? Or better yet critique her art - calling it.. "soulless & plebeian"?

It is not anti-feminist to criticize a woman.
It is anti-feminist to criticize a woman for being female, exhibiting gendered traits, her appearance or anything else that is inherently sexist. These things are not appropriate when criticizing men either.

Since it seems to be the norm here to attack Lynz & Gerard for their appearance, why doesn't VERITAVENOM post a of photo of herself so we may unbiasedly critique it? Why not level the playing field?

"How would any of you hold up under the magnify glass that you hold up to other people?"

If you’re actually obsessing over a situation that has nothing to do with you (going as far as creating a blog) obsessing means you’re worried about what you’ve done and why you are not like the ones you obsess about. 41% of targets are suffering from clinical depression. Now here’s an interesting thing: those are the people who actually have taken the time, gotten checked out, and have been diagnosed as clinically depressed. How long did it take to be actually diagnosed? Many have reported months, even years. (this blog has been up since 2007?) My advice to you is, if you are feeling any of the effects of insecurity/obsession, it does not hurt to actually be assessed. Because once you can name it – that you are being obsessive, that you are depressed – perhaps then you will feel that, “I can move forward and enjoy my own life."

"Kathleen Hannah, a renowned feminist activist has been quoted saying things strikingly similar to Lynz. Statements about skill not being as important as desire, etc. Also, i'd like to point out that there are just as many photo's of kathleen "flashing her panties" as there are of Lynz. Just pointing out the fact's.

Wow, so not only are Lindsey's views on feminism totally ridiculous, but she directly stole her shtick from somebody else?"

It's called sharing an ideology. A group of people who share an ideology share a common set of ideas as to what the world is like. .Riot grrl movement, heard of it?

Anonymous said...

And where does performing songs about peadophiles fit into this ideology?

Anonymous said...

Dear Veritavenom,
you are full of absolute shite.
Love from all of those who adore and respect feminism in the year 2010. "Flashing panties" and playing in a band when you are not "really talented" does not bother us in the least.

You condemn her for not having any creative input and then you hold her accountable for song lyrics she didn't write. Witch hunt?

Riot grrl movement, heard of it?

Of course I've heard of it. That doesn't mean that I have to agree with it.

In my opinion, third wave feminism often does more harm than good because it focuses too much on a woman's sexuality. Being sexually liberated is great, but it does not do anything for women in the workplace. It does nothing to help insure that we will get equal pay for equal work and it certainly does nothing to stop domestic violence or violence against women in general.

In essence, it is too personal in nature. Women need to have influence in the political community to stop being viewed and treated as second class citizens in our society.

The Riot Grrrl Movement is all very well and good for making young girls feel empowered, but trust me. It does very little out there in the real world (i.e., the workplace, the court system, etc.) and if it is teaching young girls that they don't really have to be very good at what they aspire to do, then it's doing more harm than good.

Most real women aren't artists or rock musicians. Neither are they Carrie Bradshaw. We need to encourage our daughters to become educated and to become confident in their skills and abilities. We can't just dress up like a schoolgirl, pick up a bass, learn to backbend and expect the world to be handed to us on a silver platter.

If you don't believe that, then look up dear old Nan-Z and ask her how that's working out for her.

Anonymous said...

She may not have written them but she doesn't seem to have any qualms about them. Condoning it is just as bad.

I don't personally condemn her for having little or no creative input in MSI. From what I understand it is largely Jimmy's endeavor, the other members exist mainly to perform on stage.

Last time I checked, I don't "hold dear" lyrics about molesting little girls.

Anonymous said...

You condemn her for not having any creative input and then you hold her accountable for song lyrics she didn't write. Witch hunt?

She stands onstage and participates while Jimmy spouts those lyrics. Just because she didn't write them doesn't mean she doesn't condone them. If she had objections to the lyrical content she would be in a different band.

Anonymous said...

I have to agree with 9:53. The "feminism" that LynZ preaches is not about societal equality, but rather choice. As in, the choice to be viewed as a piece of meat. While I see how having this choice appears empowering, you're digging your own grave. Choosing to be seen as a sex object instead of a capable and intelligent being, choosing to rely on shock value and appearance rather than ability and drive, disappoints me greatly.

Anonymous said...

Love from all of those who adore and respect feminism in the year 2010. "Flashing panties" and playing in a band when you are not "really talented" does not bother us in the least.

Are you claiming to represent "all of those who adore and respect feminism in the year 2010?"

Wow. How did you become the Ambassador of Feminism? Is this a national title or do you represent the world?

Or how about maybe you just stop making such an ass out of yourself?

Anonymous said...

No, Jimmy is a Jew. Well, at least Chantal is a Jew. So that makes it okay for them to use the word Kike, right?

Anonymous said...

What you don't seem to understand is that Lynz is just as good as most bass players. "If I can do it so can you." is an empowering statement to people who have aspirations to be in a band and feel that they aren't good enough. Bass playing consists of 4 strings and the primary function is to support the other instruments. Encouraging people to get up and just play is a good thing. What in the world could be wrong with that? I like plenty of bands that play technically simple songs.

Anonymous said...

Wearing a skirt onstage does not mean you are objectifying yourself.

Anonymous said...

"What you don't seem to understand is that Lynz is just as good as most bass players."

What you don't seem to understand is how skilled some bassists out there are. Have you ever seen Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers go at it? Even Mike Dirnt from Green Day is very good, though most of their songs are simple.

When it comes down to it, I really don't care that Lindsey sucks at bass, which she does comparatively. What gets me is that she brags about it, like it's something to be proud of. Not only that, she encourages others, specifically impressionable young girls, to be like her, when they could be so much more.

Anonymous said...

Actually, thinking about it, it's not just Lindsey or MSI. It's this whole culture about being proud of being mediocre. The losers have taken over, loud and proud, drowning out those with genuine talent. Of course a band like MSI would thrive in this environment. It may have even bred them.

Anonymous said...

Why on earth is it a good thing to encourage people to be mediocre? And I think "as good as most bass players" is being a bit too generous.

Yes, there are a lot of crappy bass players out there. Mikey Way is an example. But there are tons of great bass players out there for girls (and guys) to look up to.

In my career I don't aspire to emulate someone who isn't one of the best. I wouldn't want to go to a doctor whose aspirations were to just go out there and practice medicine and not really worry whether he/she was all that good at it. And I certainly am not going to encourage my daughter to just do a passable job in whatever career she chooses.

There's plenty of mediocrity in the world. Why encourage more of it?

Anonymous said...

It is my anonymous opinion that the people who post here feel helpless and out of control of their own lives. Dreams unfulfilled much?

Anonymous said...

Wearing a skirt onstage does not mean you are objectifying yourself.

Doing backbends in a skirt, flashing your underwear, doing "lap dances" while it's questionable that your instrument is even plugged into anything -- I'd call that objectifying yourself.

Anonymous said...

We are talking about bass playing and not medical science. Get a grip.

Music can be just as important as medical science. If you don't realize that then I feel sorry for you.

Anonymous said...

Again with the "flashing your underwear" BS. Is that REALLY such a big deal.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

How about some counterarguments that don't involve one liners?

Yes, please. Explain how the Riot Grrrl movement has improved women's lives as a whole. Explain what it means to you, seeing as how it seems to mean so much to you.

Tell us what you plan to do with your life. Tell us how all of your 'artistic dreams' have been fulfilled, why don't you? Tell us how much Lindsey has inspired you.

Anonymous said...

Why on earth aren't you focusing your passion into a blog about music you love then? I am defending music I love- what's your excuse?

How do you know that we don't?

You know nothing about what I do when I'm not here.

Anonymous said...

Bottom line is that a piece of music that may move you to tears may not have the same effect on me, it's your opinion. A good surgeon will save my life or he/she wont. No opinions there.

Anonymous said...

We are talking about bass playing and not medical science. Get a grip.

No, we're talking about career choices. Lindsey's chosen career is to play the bass and she's made the decision that she doesn't have to bother with being all that good at it. She can get away with being mediocre because she can do backbends and prance around onstage and fulfill the role of eye candy.

Do you not see that encouraging young girls to do likewise can translate into other careers as well? It's like saying, "Oh, you can be an accountant if you want, but you don't have to be all that good at it so long as you wear a short skirt and show a lot of leg. Your clients will love you anyway."

Only one day, the girl who becomes that accountant won't have such great legs anymore, so what will she do then? Retire when her looks fade? That's usually not a viable option.

Anonymous said...

Bottom line is that a piece of music that may move you to tears may not have the same effect on me, it's your opinion. A good surgeon will save my life or he/she wont. No opinions there.

See above comment which totally refutes this argument.

Anonymous said...

the thing about lynz's type of position like 10:43 said is that sooner or later she won't be able to backbend, and no one will want to see her flash her panties. looks will only last you so long, then what do you have? considering how popular msi is, or rather how much they are not, i don't think early retirement in an option for her.

Has he never heard of the Romeo and Juliet effect? That not only applies to boyfriends, but career choices as well. Kids will totally rebel against any career path that they think is being forced on them and will usually choose the opposite of what their parents want.

Plus, how the hell does he know what it's going to be like in art school 17 years from now? He's 33 -- he'll be 50 by the time Bandit is old enough for college. Things will have changed considerably by then so how does he know that she will "love" her name when she's in "art school"?

As always, the man is an idiot.

Exactly why are you here obsessing about this blog or what people say in it? Why do you consider it so reprehensible to dislike how someone presents themselves? Why are you so obsessed with getting people to stop? This seems to be causing you anxiety. There must be something wrong with you that you have to address.
