Women's rights! Real feminism...

Women's Rights at Change.org.

I thought you all might like this web page. I guess this isn't much of an MCR related post (they bore me to tears) but maybe it is, seeing as MCR have done a 180 (to quote a person who recently posted here) especially on feminism. (Also obviously on racism, homophobia etc...)

Next time you're getting mad at Lyn-Z because of her talking about how it's OK for chicks not to be really talented, how her flashing her panties is an inspiration to female musicians, or you're getting mad because of how Gerard treated his female fans, you can visit this page and see that there are people out there still fighting this kind of behavior!

I think where BN originally went wrong as far as MCR was concerned was when they went out of their way to make a place for WMHC to have a little showcase for their connections to the band. A lot of fans started viewing it as Sycophant Central, what with them kissing ElizaCuts ass and making WMHC a "featured" journal (or whatever they call it there).

After that ended, the Loony Tune Brigade (Volup, Anotherway, et al) took over the MCR community, and things went from bad to worse.

I don't know if BN can draw in a more intelligent (and older) crowd with their new renovations, but here's hoping. It would be nice to see a site that combines the classiness of facebook (as compared to myspace - yuck) with a bit more edge to it.

Good luck to them. Getting rid of that fascist was most definitely a good start.

lyn-z looking busted in her new twitter profile. Are those hair extensions?

Anonymous said...

sorry for the triple post.

Anonymous said...

At least she took that awful GerardFK pic off her twitter background. Hated that damn thing.

Anonymous said...

they look like extensions, she also looks really werid in that picture

Anonymous said...

Maybe she's trying to look like Morticia Addams?

Anonymous said...

Morticia was waaay classier than ol' Chicken Arm.

happyXamp said...

no offense but why would anyone want to look like her? I mean the only people i can think of who want to look like her are people who work at hot topic or are 14 and trying to rebel against their parents and even then their not succeeding.

kapunua said...

WHAT? Morticia Addams was a gorgeous class act. ^_^

happyXamp said...

im sorry, im meant wenseday..

Anonymous said...

WHAT? Morticia Addams was a gorgeous class act.

Exactly!

Morticia had more class in her pinky than Lindsey has in her entire body.

But yeah, people like Lindsey who try to carry off that sort of thing just wind up looking like fools.

happyXamp said...

"But yeah, people like Lindsey who try to carry off that sort of thing just wind up looking like fools."

that's what i meant

Anonymous said...

It makes me happy that her profile picture is her standing in front of a mirror, showing off her new hairstyle and taking a photo of it on her phone like a 15yr old emokid. Nice to know we've all been there lol

Anonymous said...

it's nothing eliza didn't do. she was forever taking pic of herself in front of a mirror, sucking her cheeks in and pouting her lips like some bizarre fish.

Anonymous said...

.

Anonymous said...

When I looked at the picture I thought how very "Alicia" it looked. She's been doing the myspace picture thing since forever.

It's kind of creepy how much alike they seem to be since Lindsey hooked up with Gerard.

Anonymous said...

Oh Lindsay, standing in front of the mirror with your iphone (paid for by Gerard) and your hair extensions (paid for by Gerard) and trying to show us what a good role model you are. How tragic.

Anonymous said...

Somebody needs to tell those morons that the whole MySpace, emo-scene-queen thing is dead.

Anonymous said...

She looks to me like she's wearing something dead attached to her head. Maybe she got her extensions the same place Gerard got that dead rat he was wearing at SummerSonic.

Anonymous said...

Well a year of motherhood/lack of sleep seems to have taken its toll on her face. There's no denying she has attractive features, but she is definitiely not aging so well. I guess the smoking won't help that.

Anonymous said...

Oddly, I think that's one of the more attractive pictures I've seen of Lindsey, maybe because she's not making a silly face in it. But Jesus, where does one get make-up that white? The Mime Supply Store?

She does look a bit tired and a bit puffy under the eyes, which is surprising, given all the make-up she's wearing.

Anonymous said...

Lindsey bothers me because I think she could be really beautiful if she went a different way with her look.

But this whole 'busted rocker chick' thing is not really working for her anymore and the older she gets, the worse she's going to look with it.

She does have lovely features, but she's no Joan Jett. She doesn't have Joan Jett's cheekbones or big wide eyes and even mouth and, therefore, won't age as gracefully.

She's going to wind up more Courtey Love than Joan Jett, I'm afraid.

Anonymous said...

12:29, I think it's a bit detrimental to assume that everything was paid for with Gerard's money. I know MSI were never huge but I'm sure she would have made enough to afford an iphone and some hair extensions.

Anonymous said...

I agree that we should not make judgments about Lindsey's financial status when we can't know anything about it.

I'm also a little uncomfortable talking about her looks. Yes I think she should stop smoking for Bandit's sake as well as for her own, but that's really about all I am comfortable discussing about her personal life.

If we're talking about her crap band and how idiotic it is for her to be presenting herself as a role model, however, I'm perfectly fine with that.

Anonymous said...

gotta agree w/ 3:435

Anonymous said...

I'm kind of new here and I don't really care about Lindsey or MSI. I didn't really care about Eliza either even though I thought the way Gerard handled that break up was shitty.

What I care about is how Gerard has turned his back on MCR's message and dissed TBP. I got into MCR with TBP. I loved that record and I don't understand how he could talk trash about it the way he did.

I can't support this band anymore if they aren't going to stand behind their music.

Anonymous said...

that's how a lot of us feel here 6.38,

Anonymous said...

i am in no way defending the crappy picture but dim-z said it was taken when she was two months preggers with lil bandit.

i hate it for a different reason. its a basic manipulate the fanbase effort from a woman who doesnt want to be defined by her husband, but has no problem using her daughter to get good with a bunch of teenagers.

just like cl all over again...

Anonymous said...

I think the tweet Lindsey made about being pregnant with bandit was referring to a video that fan posted of MSI playing in Mexico, not the picture.

But yeah, I do agree with you that Lindsey probably is not above using Bandit to get in with Gerard's fans.

Anonymous said...

did anyone else notice how she's tweeting the fans again all of a sudden?

Anonymous said...

I don't think that was about the picture. That 2 months pregnant thing was about a video someone linked to.

Anonymous said...

If she was two months pregnant when that video was taken, then does that mean she was pregnant when she did that RockSound interview high as a kite? Granted, I'm just assuming she was on something by the way she was acting but still...

Anonymous said...

I was never really convinced she was on drugs in that interview. I think it was just Lindsey being Lindsey - hyper, classless, and TMI.

Anonymous said...

lynzway
I'm having one of those days where i wish I could peel my tattoos off of my body. I just don't want them anymore. lesson learned.

Huh.

Anonymous said...

Guess she had a glimpse of the future at age 63 with a chicken on her arm.

Anonymous said...

Or parent teacher conferences in a few years.

Anonymous said...

No comment about her brainless band or her questionable marriage but to be honest, even though it pains me, Lynz looks good. She is nearly 34 and her looks are the least of my concern. I'd rather be smart than pretty so who cares anyway.

Anonymous said...

^unfortunately for her she's neither, if she was smart she would have taken better care of her body. She looks way over 34 and its not even her 34th birthday yet. I just hope she takes better care of Bandit then she's been taking care of herself.

Anonymous said...

she looks so tired and hating her tats while smart says bad things about her mental health. i think both her and her husband were happier before bandit and thats really sad.

Anonymous said...

I don't think it has to do with Bandit so much as that they've been married three years and have probably started to realize by now that marriage is really not the picnic they thought it would be.
In other words she looks tired because she's finally growing the fuck up.
He's been looking tired for almost a year now but he does a good job running from it with cars and reinventing himself.
Well trying anyway.

Anonymous said...

she must have been pretty young when she got inked though. probably under 25. still i don't know of many young people who get a fucking chicken on their arm. yeah she's in a band but msi never have been and never will be big enough for her to be all tatted up and be set for life.

unfortunately it's more socially acceptable for a man to have lots of tattoos than a woman.

Anonymous said...

I don't like a man full of tattoos either.

Anonymous said...

I'm surprised she feels self-conscious about her tattoos. Everyone in her inner circle seems to have them, even her sister and sister-in-law.

Anonymous said...

maybe the rest feel the same way too.

or except for her sister it seems like lindsey is the most grown up of her circle currently. alicia and chantal don't have kids yet. but frank will soon enough.

Anonymous said...

I still find it strange. It's not like it's a few thoughtless tattoos. She would have carefully chosen the art for her sleeve and spent lot more time having the whole thing inked.

Anonymous said...

Gerard also seems to like her tattoos.

Anonymous said...

OMG U GUISE THEIRS TROUBLE IN PARADISE THEIR BREAKING UP

Anonymous said...

Gerard has never actually complemented his wife outside of calling her beautiful.
All I know is that Gerard thinks Brody Dalle and Christina Ricci are both hot. Lny-z doesn't really look like either, but a man can only see a chicks crotch so many times before he stop caring about the rest of her I suppose.

Anonymous said...

^he also must have thought Eliza was pretty hot, you know since he spent all that time matching her hair and whatnot.

Anonymous said...

Lindsey and Brody Dalle may not look the same but they have the same sort of look.

Anonymous said...

i think it was eliza who matched gerard's hair. i can't see him making an effort to do that. eliza on the other hand i could definitely see.

"Gerard has never actually complemented his wife outside of calling her beautiful."

really? like not even her ossum bass playing or band or art? that's really weird.

Anonymous said...

That's not true, he has. His brother even told her she should play in the band.

Anonymous said...

I think he complemented her skills with oil painting to a fan once.

Anonymous said...

^good with oil, beautiful, and helped him make bandit, ain't love grand?!

Anonymous said...

I suspect Brody Dalle would prefer not to ever be compared to Lyn-z. You know, since she actually is a pentacle of feminism and a real musician.

Anonymous said...

maybe gerard finally realized after publicly hinting to both brody and ricci and being ignored that he was never gonna get a real woman so he settled for one who thinks she is.

he was really thorough about it too. especially after the divorce in the case of brody.

poor lynz. you gotta pity someone who marries a man who will always wish he was married to someone else.

Anonymous said...

^no I don't, only an idiot marries a man she's only know for a week and believes he actually loves her. I don't care what lines he feeds her.

Anonymous said...

Gerard has never actually complimented her bass playing, he used to compliment the band though, before the wedding and all.

I'm guessing he thought it would be tacky after the fact.

However, Mikey did ask her join them on stage for the Roxy show, Gerard obviously did not agree.

Anonymous said...

for some reason i would be relieved if gerard knows she's a shit bassist.

Anonymous said...

Maybe, or maybe he just knew how the fans would fucking crucify him if his first show back they randomly added a second bassist for no apparent reason other than she was his wife.
Seriously, I was so pissed when Mikey tweeted that I almost asked if he was high.
I wasn't a fan for much longer as you can imagine.
Which can I just say, I'm really glad you guys are here for me to vent about this shit with.

Anonymous said...

Brody is the shit/Lindsey is a sad-faced clown.

End of story.

Isn't Lindsey a year older than Gerard? I know her Wikipedia says she's younger, but it's Wikipedia, you know?

I'm pretty sure that in other articles I've read that she was born in 1976, which would make her nearly a year older than him.

Anonymous said...

She was born in 1976. She will be 34 in May.

Anonymous said...

I feel bad for her if she doesn't want her tattoos anymore. I've always wondered if that happens to people when they get older, which is why I would never get one.

I think tattoos will date a person. I think they will go out of fashion and you'll be able to tell what age a person is by whether them have tats or not. I already see that happening among younger kids who think they're gross.

Also, with the "Bombshell McGee" scandal, heavily tattooed women are kind of being looked down on right now. I think society is perceiving those women as being "skanks and husband stealers" while someone who looks more wholesome (like Sandra Bullock) is perceived as being faithful, a good mother, good person, etc.

People will always be judged by their appearance in our society. It's just an inescapable fact of life.

I can't help but wonder if Gerard will one day look at Lindsey's tattoos and think they cheapen her. It would be totally wrong of him, especially considering that she had the tats when he married her, but sometimes men (and people in general) will do that sort of thing, especially if they (and Bandit) experience any kind of discrimination because of them.

Gerard may revel in his alternative lifestyle right now, but that could change in the future.

Anonymous said...

I appreciate that Lindsey has the guts to admit that she sometimes thinks her tats might have been a mistake.

Maybe some young girl will read that and it will prevent her from going out and getting herself tatted up.

Give the poor woman a break.

I think that's the reaction she was after when she made that tweet. I doubt she really regrets them, they must signify something to her as they're not just tatts. A lot of thought and time went into her skin "art".

Anonymous said...

Good to see she is pulling the "I'm a wiser Lindsey" card to change people's perception of her.

Anonymous said...

I don't think she's clever enough to do that.

Anonymous said...

Celebrity twitters are there to build their images and promote themselves. Isn't there where she is promoting her "art' show?

Anonymous said...

I don't think she's clever enough to do that.

You don't need to be smart to do that.

kapunua said...

Screw the tats, they are just ink. If she had really "grown up" she would show some shame over the ridiculous, hateful thins she represents with her dumbass wanking band.

Anonymous said...

You might tend to regret your tattoos if you haven't been part of the rawkstaa lifestyle for a while and that this kind of lifestyle was the reason for you to get them in the first place.

If you're getting tattoos not because they mean something to you but because they help you fit in with a specific kind of clique or scene you will most likely regret having them as soon as you don't belong to that clique or don't have anything to do with that scene anymore.

Anonymous said...

Like the previous anon already mentioned, most of the people she hangs with have em, even Mikey's wife, so she fits in with all her the people round her.

I thought he was attracted to her tatts. I thought the punk/rocker chick is the type of girl he always wanted and found in Lindsey.

Anonymous said...

When you think about it, Lindsey and Alicia Way are very similar.

Anonymous said...

I thought he was attracted to her tatts. I thought the punk/rocker chick is the type of girl he always wanted and found in Lindsey.

Gerard is very volatile. He changes like the wind.

There was a time when he was attracted to Eliza who doesn't look a thing like Lindsey.

Neither does Christina Ricci. She may have a few strategically placed tatts, but they don't show unless she wants them to. She's a very classy looking girl. Unlike Lindsey.

Anonymous said...

But unlike the others she's a mom now and she hasn't skipped about the stage as the faux bassist princess for a while. She might miss that a lot.
I could assume that she sometimes feels left out because she is the one whose life has changed the most during her pregnancy and after giving birth to Susan.

She will have to be the one staying at home with the child when Geefart will go on his strip club tour with his next flop album.
However, I don't think that he will do the same for her if MSI would ever go on tour again.

Anonymous said...

Now I can't imagine Gerard being with anyone who is elegant and classy and without tattoos. Imo Lindsey is best suited for him, and she's punk like he is.

Anonymous said...

I can't imagine anyone elegant and classy wanting Gerard.

Neither could I 8:15.

Gerard is the furthest thing from punk.

so, i followed a link to this page, and have now backread a bit starting at the beginning of this blog to see if i can understand its creation because i've liked mcr's music since revenge, even more tbp. I dont quite care very much about their private selves, or who they married, and wouldnt ever think of joining in here in slating their lifestyle or personalities.but i can see the enjoyment and comradeship involved in the pack mentality, and the feeling of belonging as a group.
my question to you all, if you wouldnt mind answering, because i'm genuinely interested, is why bother? And are there other blogs like this one for other bands, or is it just mcr who generate this kind of hate?

Anonymous said...

I don't know of any other band who has inspired this kind of dislike among former fans, mainly because I don't know of any other band that has so shamelessly used its fanbase, lied to them quite so blatantly, and then done a complete 180 on everything they claimed to 'stand for' once they became famous.

The band we all saw in LOTMS is not MCR and if you still believe they are, you're still believing the lie.

Anonymous said...

isnt it possible they were saying what they felt at the time that LOTMS was filmed? like, how many years ago is that? i've changed in that time, i'm sure everyone of you has changed. in the extreme case, i was totally against abortion 6 yrs ago, and even joined picketing groups outside clinics, but i got pregant by mistake, and had an abortion 3 years ago. isnt that drastically changing my stance because of circumstance?
I hope you dont find me rude. i'm genuinely interested in your responses.
Maybe, you feel mad at yourselves for buying into the hype that comes along with trying to sell a band, i mean that the record company took their 'issues' of drugs/bullied outcasts/uncool musicians(which they still are) and they magnified it to relate to the particular group of people who would respond to those problems.
now are you mad at yourselves too, for taking their "message" too far?

kapunua said...

isnt it possible they were saying what they felt at the time that LOTMS was filmed? like, how many years ago is that? i've changed in that time, i'm sure everyone of you has changed.

Of course; I've changed, too, in six years.

But I've heard this argument before and I always have the same reply: When you change, you're supposed to grow, not regress. Good change is when you evolve your beliefs, and hopefully you become a better person.

Of course MCR has changed. But they changed from people who stood for equality, women's right, and the rights of minorities (or so they said,) to a bunch of classless, machismo morons.

Anonymous said...

I think maybe some of us do feel mad at ourselves. I know I wish I had never given them any of my money.

It goes deeper than that for me, though. I've told my story before, but I'm a parent of a 19 year old girl who used to think Gerard Way hung the moon when she was 14. She feels that he lied to her (so do I) and, in my book, that's just not okay.

Gerard used to say that girls and women should feel good about themselves and not take shit from anyone. Then he turned around and told young girls to "fuck themselves" and "moan for him" onstage. All of this while trying to present his wife (who admits to being a lousy bass player) as a role model to young girls. According to Lindsey, all you have to do to "make it" is to get onstage and do a backbend while holding a bass. Then you can marry a rockstar and retire and have babies.

I'm sorry, but I want my daughter to get a good education and to strive to be the best at what she does. I'm very glad my daughter doesn't like his band anymore, but I can't help but feel angry for the young girls who are still buying into his current b.s.

kapunua said...

now are you mad at yourselves too, for taking their "message" too far?

I'm mad at myself for giving them my money, but why should I be mad at myself for being tricked? That's hardly my fault. Wen someone says something positive, it's my natural inclination to be hopeful and think they're telling the truth. I don't think that's bad of me.

How did any of us "take their message too far?" How can you take a good thing too far? Their message was a positive one and they shat all over it.

Again, not our fault.

kapunua said...

Exactly was 10:51 said. ^_^

Anonymous said...

And are there other blogs like this one for other bands, or is it just mcr who generate this kind of hate?

I honestly can't answer that question because that would mean that I know every single website on the internet and I don't.
I do know though that if you're trying to sell as many albums and concert tickets by fooling your female audience into thinking that you're supporting feminism and it finally turns out that this was just a marketing ploy to become famous you don't have to be surprised if some of that female audience are pissed and want to vent.

Am I mad at myself for having believed in their 'message'?
No! But I am very disappointed in and angry at them.

Anonymous said...

I'm not mad at myself for falling for their positive message, I'm mad at them for using it to take my money when it was all a bunch of b.s. It was never just about the music when it came to MCR and that was the point. They tied their music into a message and then completely back tracked away from it when they felt as though they no longer needed it. I feel justice will be served when the next record flops. Wonder what Mikey will do then? He's the only one who doesn't seem to have a back up plan. Maybe Alicia can write a book about dressing up your cats and having birthday parties for your dogs.

Anonymous said...

I used to think that Mikey would go into A&R for a record label after MCR folded, but with the music business being what it is today, I doubt there would be a place for him.

Maybe he and Gerard can form a Black Parade Review and play it in Las Vegas or something (or more likely, Branson, MO).

harley said...

how much money do you think mcr have? do you think they'll be millionaires by now? x

Anonymous said...

A lot depends on how their contract was written and how much they get for merch. I think they probably (the band) netted about 3 million dollars for TBP, which had to be divided among the band members. I've heard the tour didn't break even and I really couldn't guess as to how much they've made off their merch. Probably not as much as they would like.

So I doubt that they're rolling in money, especially given the high cost of living in LA.

Anonymous said...

I wonder if they'll make anything off the new record. They've been in the studio forever and studio time ain't cheap.

I meant the first part of that first comment, that she's embarrassed by her tats but not a word about her "brainless band". I by no means think that she looks good for her age. At 33 she already looks to be in her 40s. I think it's the smoking and drinking.

back again, sorry to have left in the middle of discussions. your thoughtful, considered answers have given me food for thought and i can totally understand your pov. i still can't get worked up myself over the whole 'fuck yourselves' and 'fake it girls etcetc for the rest of your lives'. i agree its totally juvenile and tasteless, but that doesnt come as a surprise from gerard does it. he IS juvenile and tasteless, funnily enough i like that he brings out a different side to me at their concerts because i don't like those sort of people in real life i know i wouldnt like him or any of them (possibly Ray) in reality, but on stage he's outrageous and entertaining for me anyway. I can see why its perceived as sexist, when before they portrayed themselves to be the opposite. so i can't find an excuse for that but i still don't think it warrants years of your time feeling bitter about it

Anonymous said...

^definitely THIS

Anonymous said...

How long does it usually take a band to make a record? Is more than a year normal?

It depends on the band, but more than a year seems pretty excessive to me. I'm pretty sure MCR first started recording TBP in April of 06 and it was released in October of the same year.

I do know that Kings of Leon toured right up until February of 08, then went into the studio later that month to record OBTN and were back out touring by early June, although the record wasn't released in September.

So anywhere from 3-6 months of studio time seems reasonable to me.

This new MCR record is starting to seem like some Chinese Democracy shit to me.

Anonymous said...

so i can't find an excuse for that but i still don't think it warrants years of your time feeling bitter about it

Not all of us have been here for years. I'm new here and I'm thrilled to have a place to vent.

But even so, why do you care how we feel? I don't fault you for continuing to support the band. It's your life and your money. So why are you questioning how I feel?

Anonymous said...

when i said definitely THIS i was referring to all the smoking and drinking.

Anonymous said...

You can't really compare a band like Kings of Leon to MCR though. I mean, don't KOL just go in and track their stuff live? They use a lot of reverb and stuff on their guitars, but their sound live is exactly the same as it is on the record. It's like they just write the music, go in and do it in a couple of takes.

MCR's style is very different. I can see why it takes them longer.

And you seriously can't be comparing the new record to Chinese Democracy. Wait until a few more years before you start with that.

Anonymous said...

MCR's style is very different. I can see why it takes them longer.

Yeah, because they have to autotune the shit out of Gerard's vocals and figure out a way to compensate for the lack of a decent bass line.

Anonymous said...

sorry 1.38 not meaning to question why you are here, that was more of a statement.also i wouldn't class myself as one of their supporters and my questions here were more about this place, what makes it tick over, than to argue one side against another thanks for talking to me, a newbie

There is laser treatment for tattoos. But it's a lengthy process and likely not cheap, especially considering how much ink she has.

"They've been in the studio forever and studio time ain't cheap."

I hope for their (checkbook's) sake that they do most of the actual writing outside of the studio and only pay for time to polish and record it. Because holy crap, they have been at it for ages.

I dont feel sorry for Lindsey and her tattoo woes at all. As someone who has tattoos, I make sure that I get them in places where I can hide them if I need to. And every time I get a tattoo I make sure it is something I can live with forever and has some meaning to me. Im betting that her sleeve was something she did on a whim, to look tough and cool, without thinking about the future. If anything, maybe all the girls who want to be just like her will think twice before inking anything on their bodies.

Anonymous said...

right? everyone knows not to get tats unless your prepared to love them for life. i love my tats and unlike her i drew them myself!

Anonymous said...

Sadly I think she did draw that skanky garter thing.
Its well known that its her favorite.
Yuck.

Are you 12? People don't automatically "sag" when they get to be 50, not if they stay in good physical shape.

Jeez, I don't like Gerard or his idiot wife, but these pot shots at their physical appearances are so childish.

happyXamp said...

The only band i can think of that was in studio for more than a year was Green Day recording American Idiot, however, american idiot was not the original ablum they went in to do, they had an earlier one called coffee and cigarettes and it got stolen, they then came back with American Idiot...

whether or not the album was stolen is up to you, they came out and said that it could have been misplaced and i have a feeling we will see all those songs come out again in some form

I think Lindsey looks quite lovely in that profile picture. There's something kind of sad about it and I find it interesting that she would choose to use a picture of herself looking sad for her profile.

Maybe she's going through some hard times, what with the baby, trying to get ready for her art show and Gerard's never ending album still in the works.

A little compassion would not kill you guys, would it?

Anonymous said...

that sleeve must've taken several inkings. to do that on a whim is odd.

happyXamp said...

even if she were to get laser surgery, there will be a ghost or something, or so i've been told

Anonymous said...

It would probably take several visits to the dermatologist to get a tatt that large and colorful removed and yes, there would probably be some residual ink left over, but she could cover it up with makeup.

Anonymous said...

I remember seeing a play on Broadway where one of the actresses had a large tattoo on her shoulder. She was playing a flight attendant from the '60s and her role required her to come onstage wearing a towel. She had makeup over her tattoo, but from where we were sitting it was still visible. It kind of ruined her performance for me a bit because it took me out of the drama and reminded me that she was just an actress and not the character in the play.

I can't imagine never being able to wear an elegant sleeveless ballgown because I had an unsightly chicken tattooed on my arm.

I think that's kind of sad.

Anonymous said...

Well Lindsey could still wear an elegant off the shoulder ball gown...

she'd just look ridiculous in it.

That's so disgusting. Wasn't Ferguson her brother?

I'll never pity a grown woman her choices, and if that's why she chose to use such a "sad-faced-clown" shot as her profile picture, she can try just go ahead and try that manipulative bullshit on someone dumber; like her husband.

I asked you to leave them alone. In turn I have asked for any of the anons at Mayos who attack you to stop.

Do you remember?

Anonymous said...

Before anyone says "That wasn't me", I am only speaking to the one it concerns.

Anonymous said...

Aw, just comb your itty red hair back, umkay?

Anonymous said...

Who are you talking to? We don't want this crap here. Take it home.

Anonymous said...

Jesus, not this bullshit again.

Quick! Somebody call the men in the little white coats.

Anyway, to get back to the conversation at hand, I never really looked into MSI's lyrics all that much. The only songs I knew were the more recent ones that got some airplay like Never Wanted to Dance. Of course I'd read some snippets of Panty Shot, but I thought those were just anomalies.

But wow. All of their older songs are just vile, aren't they?

Anonymous said...

I don't know why that Clarissa thing disturbs me so much, but it does.

I'm surprised JU didn't write some filthy lyrics about Dora the Explorer.

Anonymous said...

Vile and hateful, much worse than sleeve tattoos.

Anonymous said...

I'm surprised JU didn't write some filthy lyrics about Dora the Explorer.

Don't give him any ideas.

Seriously, though. What's Lindsey going to tell Bandit when she hears the song Panty Shot one day? Or even that Clarissa song? That Uncle Jimmy had a thing about underage girls?

Anonymous said...

I know. If she regrets that sleeve just wait until her daughter has to see her own mothers panties on some kid's cellphone via youtube.

Or reads that article about her mom enjoying being groped by "14-year-old boys" at her concerts.

The only one in that family I ever pity is Bandit. No kid should have that as a mother.

Anonymous said...

I'm sure she'll tell her that it was all just a big joke. Because child molestation and statutory rape are such hilarious subjects, after all. Oh and incest is an absolute riot.

Anonymous said...

And lets not forget advocating violence against teenage girls for thinking they're so smart.

How dare that Clarissa!

Anonymous said...

the worst part is since msi is all about having the all-ages shows (probably because no actually mature audience could get into that shit) she cant even say that mommy does adult shows.

nope. here sweetie. this is what mommy and uncle jimmy did with the girls your age. oh yeah, and to impress me and uncle jimmy daddy used to make them moan for him to.

we love when little girls do things they shouldnt for our amusement but youd better be home by 10 young lady.

poor fucking bandit.

Anonymous said...

Well, let's hope that when Frank gets angry at his twins for making too much noise he doesn't tell them that their mommy should have sat on a coat hanger.

I feel sorry for those kids too.

Anonymous said...

frank strikes me as more the type to yell that at his neighbors kids and have the twins ask him what did daddy mean by that?

Anonymous said...

Yeah, you're right. He probably thinks it's perfectly fine for him to say things like that to other people, but he'd have a fit if somebody said it to him.

Anonymous said...

exactly. hes always been like that though. can you imagine what he'd do if someone spit on him or kicked him in the balls?

not pretty. im sure.

Anonymous said...

In my personal opinion, huge, colourful tattoos on women are unsightly. But just because Lyn-Z may not have gotten it on a whim doesn't mean she might not regret it now. Like many of you said, when she got it she was probably younger and trying to fit in with a certain scene. Now circumstances have changed and she is experiencing motherhood, and perhaps some aspects of womanhood for the first time. I think it's plausible her feelings about them may have changed. For instance, I know some women with tattoos who would throw a fit if their child wanted to get one.

I wanted a tattoo when I was 19, to the point where I actually designed it. It was neither huge nor obvious but still now I'm so glad I didn't.

Anonymous said...

those tats cost a lot of money. she knew what she was doing. dont let her fool you.

Anonymous said...

I happen to agree with you 2:42. I'm not buying her sympathy ploy.

Anonymous said...

Maybe she's talking about the tattoo on her belly? Don't forget that she's got a huge one there too.
Who knows how that looks now after having been pregnant for nine months?

Anonymous said...

What tattoos does Lyn-Z actually have? I only know about the chicken on her arm and the garter on her thigh.

Anonymous said...

On the belly too huh?

The woman obviously likes tattoos.

Her husband doesn't seem to mind them too.

April 29, 2010 8:10 PM

Nor do they want it there. I told you I would only come here if someone from here continued to bother them. As I said, if it doesn't pertain to you, don't answer.

Itty red hair? No. Not sure who you think I am but if you stop bothering them it won't matter.

Anonymous said...

In all honesty, I believe the one from here posting at the other blog cares much more for themselves than they do any of you and your blog.

Has it escaped your attention who they have been targeting? Think about it. I have read here enough to know the majority of you are very smart.

Anonymous said...

I really am over this crap from that other place.

Verita, is there not something you can do?

Honestly, as much as I have resisted getting a blogger account, I would rather have to do that and sign in than to have to deal with some anon troll who is playing both ends against the middle here and that other place just to get attention.

Or maybe she could track and block certain IP addresses. I realize that Verita has been hesitant to install an IP tracker or to block anon comments, but this is getting ridiculous.

Anonymous said...

I don't really like IP trackers and they don't always work right. There are ways around them too.

I would open a blogger account to continue posting here if I had to. All you have to have is a gmail address, right?

Anonymous said...

As I said, they are over it too. I left here alone while your poster did the same. Certain people at Mayos can't come in at all without a smartass remark. I'm asking the one who keeps posting over there, and they know who they are, to simply leave them alone. I have also left comments at that blog to posters attacking this place.

Anonymous said...

Look, you don't even know that this person who is harassing you at Mayo's is from here.

Most of the people here don't give a rat's ass for Mayo's. The way I see it, you're just causing trouble here with your ominous warnings and b.s.

You can't do anything to anybody here and you certainly don't scare me. But I would love to be rid of you so I'm just asking Verita to disallow anon comments so this kind of trolling can't continue.

Anonymous said...

I'm not trying to scare you. I'm trying to broker a peace between the two blogs. Do you not want that as well?

Anonymous said...

I don't see how what you are doing is going to achieve anything. You are insinuating that a certain person is the one causing the problems and I don't believe that.

I think the person posting back in forth does not have an affinity for either blog, but just for causing trouble and you are making that trouble worse.

Anonymous said...

I keep my promises. If it means more to you for these bloggers to post anonymously and in peace, leave the other place alone. If not, I will be here to disrupt you. It's up to the one who is bothering the other place.

However, if this is changed to sign in only, I'm well aware how to get around those obstacles.

Your move.

Anonymous said...

Verita, are you just going to accept these threats?

Anonymous said...

It's up to the one who is bothering the other place.

How do you know the person bothering the other place is from here, O Omniscient One?

You are a troll. Go away Troll.

Anonymous said...

I agree: Troll. WHo knows what's going on over at that stupid place? They are a bunch of drama queens and this one obviously loves the drama.

Also internet threats are funny. Just ignore it and it will go away.
