I find it completely creepy looking at most MCR fans' twitters. It's like they only follow members of MCR, their wives, people connected somehow to MCR, and other MCR fans.
They come here and tell us to get lives, but it seems to me like their lives are MCR.

Somebody brought up 'crazy Nat' here a while back. She's the girl who got banned from MCR shows during the Black Parade tour.
I know that fans were saying that she made improper advances toward Frank, but she always denied that. She claimed that Worm told her the guys were getting creeped out because they kept seeing her face in the crowds at their shows (she used to follow them around Europe). Then, because she got a ride with some people who were following the band's tour bus from one show to another, they banned her from coming to any more shows.
I always wondered if maybe she was telling the truth. Yes, she was crazily obsessed, but no more so than some of these other people I've seen on BN & Mayo's (Voluptuosity, Toujours, OPJ).
They'd probably ban them from shows too if they kept seeing their faces at concert after concert, especially if they had knowledge of their crazy behavior on the internet.
That's bollocks. One of MCR's security told me that they enjoy seeing the same faces in the crowd during the UK tours, because a) it's perfectly reasonable to be able to go to every gig, since the UK isn't that large, and b) they like knowing they have a loyal fanbase there.
What they don't appreciate are fans getting in cars and following the tour convoy from rest stop to rest stop all over the country for a week, which is pretty much what Nat did, even after she'd been warned about crossing lines.
I also heard from one of Nat's own friends that she has social issues that make her act inappropriatley and that she is very 'touchy feely', which is what got her in hot water with Frank and Bob. She basically got too physical with them at meet and greets (hugging, kissing their cheeks). With this, and a little shit-stiring from the WMHC and their English fangirls, she was banned and blacklisted from MCR shows.
I don't like the band, their crazy fans and their useless wives, but to say Nat didn't dig her own grave is giving her too much credit.

This is not anything special or new. I've been at other concerts where bands have done this. Billie Joe stops Green Day shows all the time when the crowd starts getting rough.
I'm sure that Gerard was concerned about that girl getting crushed. Any human being who isn't a psychopath would be, and I'm very glad that he was observant enough to notice.
But, on the other side of that coin, it's very, very bad publicity when a fan gets badly hurt or killed at a show.

going back to Billie Joe for a sec, i don't know what show it was, but people on GDA could tell you, there was a show where a 7 year old, or about that age, fell into the pit at a show and Billie actually stopped the show and pulled him out of the pit himself.
What band would want any one of their audience actually coming to any harm whilst enjoying their performance? None, I'm sure.
And apart from wanting their audience to try to enjoy what they payed for, I'm also certain they would try to avoid any potential lawsuits for themselves.

When I come to VVs, I see mostly polite people talking to each other and joking about a piece of crap band that got a lot of money from us. And yes, we make fun of their stupid pretentious asses.

So did Voluptuosity get banned for good? Seems that the mods have descended on that whole community. One of them told Anotherway off and she's been quiet ever since. So I've been away for a while, and then I come back and read all this chaos.
Right, just so I can try and make some since of this madness there were three blogs besides VV's, right?
One was this OPJ chick, the other was SS (Frank?) and the last was Mayos (Gerard?); and SS pledged his undying love to OPJ, who is some 40+ year old chick?
I checked out the Mayos place and think it'd be a tad weird for Gerard to start a blog right after his "happy union" (bleh) but where the fuck is this SS place and why would anyone think it was Frank?
And why the hell would Frank pledge his love to OPJ or is there something I'm really missing here?

You can't say what you want about MCR on tothetune at all.
That place is run by very overinvested MCR fangirls from LJ. They might not react to anything negative under login, but they'll log out and comment anon at you if you do. Plus, the moderators and many of the worst fangirls there are part of a bigger bandom community on Dreamwidth where everyone posts anon, and they rip anyone who says anything negative about MCR to shreds. They can get away with ganging up on people because no one can trace it back to a particular user.

Buzznet seems to really be making an effort to "smarten up" their site. The mods and admins are taking an active role in trying to deflect discussions to topics more relevant to what's going on in the music business and away from the "OMG, MCR IS SO HAWT" mentality that so many fansites exhibit.
I also think that they made a good decision in getting rid of the people who came in and took over the forum with their fascist attitudes and tactics a few years ago.
For years now I've heard people on other networking sites refer to BN as the Stoopid Site. Looks like maybe things are going to change for the better.
Buzznet's the only site i've been on that was aimed at that type of kid, where you had music news, and then had names people, some people, knew blogging.. i think its got a great idea, but the fan girls of every band jumped on it.
Again i don't know of other websites like it, and i don't count vampirefreaks as one
