Sorry, that was directed at the people coming here from "that place that shall not be named" not you guys.

I wouldn't be surprised if our "I hate you all because you're so full of hate!" commenter came from there too.

Hell there's nothing stopping Bandit from catching Lynz's cold and dying from that

Jesus, HappyXamp. If you're a teenager then the furture is bleak, kid. Forget about rock stars or Mock-stars, get a little heart inside yourself and think a little before you speak. Real people who's deaths you are so carelessly handing out blog comments. You're a little bit frightening, kid. Just a little.

I have to say I agree with 8:34.

I realize you were just responding to the comment about people dying, but you didn't have to make it quite so personal. I'd rather not be talking about dying babies here. It's just too damn squicky for my taste.

Anonymous said...

Why do people from Mayo still come here? If they want to keep their fantasy blog that's fine. I don't want this place turning into their fansite like that place.

Anonymous said...

All of you remind me of a lynch mob. You're going to hate on this band no matter what they do, just for the sake of hating.

You hate them for dressing up in costumes and wearing makeup, but you hate them for turning their backs on that. You hate them for not being honest, but when they are honest you don't like what they have to say.

They cannot win with you people. You have to have your pound of flesh from them no matter what.

People like you are killing this band and when they are dead, you'll spit on their corpse and dance on their grave.

I hate you all.

Gerard decided to stop playing Adam Ant's less talented cousin and morph into the new Eddie Vedder. That's what's killing the band. Don't blame this blog.

Poor Gerard. New Jersey's answer to Adam Ant. There's something very, very amusing (and sad at the same time) about that.

Gerard's not fit to shine Adam Ant's shoes.

Anonymous said...

I have to agree. I like this blog a lot. But babies dying is WAY over the line.

Sounds like something MSI would write about.

Anonymous said...

You know, I feel a little worried for the fans who seem to be completely devastated over Bob leaving. It makes me wonder how they'll react when the band breaks up, whether they would have moved on by then(not saying that the band will break up in the near future but it'll obviously happen eventually).

I just don't get fans who claim that MCR's music "saved their lives" then go on to say that they'll never get over it if they were to disband - sure it'd be a bummer for them, but they'd still have the music, right?

i didn't mean to offend anyone but yea i've had a bad deal with death. i lost two classmates on April 2, 2009. and for a school that has under 200 students they were like sisters to me. my friend gave birth to twin stillborns last year as well. so yea i'm pretty bleak.

Anonymous said...

It's okay, happy. I'm sure you didn't mean any real harm with your comment. It's just that some people might interpret it to say that you were wishing death on Gerard and Lindsey's child. The death of a child is never something to be taken lightly.

happyXamp said...

i wouldn't wish that for any parent. Again i'm sorry if it was misinterperted. In my area of the US babies die from colds.

Anonymous said...

HappyXamp, I am sorry for all of the loss you and your's have experienced. I can understand how that would make a person more hard. But don't let it take away your hope or positive thought for yourself and other people. Babies do die, all over the world, in many ways. But please don't expect only bad things to happen.

Trying to think positive is very difficult when so much bad has happened to you, or keeps happening. I do understand. And expecting better days, does leave you more open to what bad may come. But you simply can't live or enjoy your life to the fullest you can get, if you expect only darkness.

It's a lot to ask of you kiddo, but life would be better for you, if you could see the good things as clearly as you see the bad. Ya know? Not trying to be mean to you, just wish your days and outlook were better. I think only we can make things better for ourselves. Again, I am so sorry for your loss HappyXamp, I can't imagine going through that. But please try to see the good in living, too. OK?
Bye

Yes.

Right or wrong, that's how it is.

This year, I lost my beloved Grandma, and then four months later--suddenly and entirely without any warning whatsoever--I lost my Dad. My Dad and I were very close. I miss him every day and I always will. I idolized him. Mom and I are lost without him. And Gran, we were also very close. Since childhood, I've dreaded losing her.

But, I'll live, and sometimes even laugh.

If I'd lost a child? Or--all powers forbid--one of my young cousins?

Yeah, not so much.

Fair or not, it's different with kids.

Anonymous said...

^exactly.

I'm a parent. I have lost my father, my grandmother, several beloved aunts and uncles. I've even lost one of my siblings to cancer. Each death was painful but my sister's was probably the worst because she was young and it felt like she had not lived long enough to do everything she wanted in life. Her death left an emptiness that the others didn't -- something to do with unfulfilled dreams and expectations because her life was cut short.

I don't know how I would deal with the death of one of my children. I don't know if I could deal with that. They are so young and so innocent and their lives are so full of promise.

So, to answer your question, the death of a child is something that most people don't like to even think about. More so than adults.

woah, you're joking. that word was up in gerard and lynz's house? who is jessicka of scarling, and why would that word make sense? soo, it's like the dick word? if we use it all the time, it takes the meaning away? dick was different because it's also a guy's name. the c word is the most offensive word to me as a female, especially if it's displayed or used by another female. no respect. just making fun of something for fun's sake doesn't make it classy. just trashy. not using good judgement or taste. to me it's like the n word. remember the crap eliza cuts got for that one? now i'm finding out this is lynz's choice of wall decor? are we sure? if it is, i've lost all respect, especially with a little baby girl running around. if not, cool. lynz isn't a teenager, she's in her 30's. i'd expect some sense of decency coming from her, not that type of trash. apologizes to bob for thinking that was his doing. i had lost respect for him for that one. guess it was misplaced? (hey, and i know she doesn't give a crap about gerard's fans, i could care less. i guess i put gerard on this pedestal when it comes to women, that he should have an intelligent, classy gal, who displayed a little dignity towards the female race. don't know why, he probably doesn't. it was just how they came to all these kids rescue, when they did, you know?)

Anonymous said...

Actually, it would make sense if they hung up the c-word in the Way house and that it wasn't a picture of one of Bob's walls. It would explain why that fucking braindead turd Francis Bean once tweeted to a girl that she should never call another girl a slut but that the word cunt would be totally fine, just not the word slut. I guess she got that from the other braindead turd Dim-z who once said in that tasteitv interview in which she's sitting in a car with über-stan Brigitte (or whatever that fool's name is) holding a speech about the word slut and that it's so offensive to women.
I could imagine that Dim-z and other stupid shits think that the c-word is soooo 'empowering' to women and that it's actually an honor to be called that word.

Cunt: A Declaration of Independence

From Cunt: a declaration of independence, Second Edition:

* Foreword by Derrick Jensen
* from the Afterword: a selection from “Women With Dicks, Men with Cunts”
* Long Postscript
* Cuntlovin' Guide to the Universe (resource guide)

Reviews of Cunt

Bust:

At its core, Cunt is a metaphor for unconditional self-love, a gentle call for women to embrace all things sacred and essentially female. And that’s not just lip service. Cunt does for feminism what smoothies did for high-fiber diets—it reinvents the oft-indigestible into something sweet and delicious.
—Ophira Edut

Library Journal:

In her first book, Muscio encourages women to reclaim the word “cunt”, rejecting its negative connotations and reincarnating it as a symbol of women’s power and strength. She invites women to disregard the derogatory messages they receive about their bodies and their womanhood: both “the anatomical jewel,” as she terms it, and the essence of femaleness. In a work that is by turns a handbook on sexual health and personal history, Muscio candidly discusses issues that affect the lives of all women…in an effort to foster a woman-positive society. Caution: although the writing is relaxed and appealing, it is also quite graphic and perhaps a little strong for some readers’ sensibilities…. Nevertheless, this is recommended for public and academic libraries.
—Kimberly L. Clarke

Happy reading all you feminists.

Embrace the cause. Embrace the word.

Anonymous said...

Embrace your stupidity first!

Anonymous said...

Well, if Kimberley L Clarke told us it's okay, then I'm sure it is. Her opinion mean so much to me and my outlook has now completely changed.

Too much sarcasm?

Anonymous said...

Btw, did anyone here read the article I linked to the other day? Read about enlightened sexism. Then you will know where Dim-z's or that idiot Clarke's maxim generated from.

Kapunua said...

I read it.

It was a good article on the so-called "third-wave feminism" that Lindsey was so desperately trying to articulate (and failing epically) in one of her interviews about how, "Like, it's like, girls have like, girl power and like, if they like, want to like, show their crotch, like, that's like, their choice because like, maybe it, like, empowers them and like, it's my choice if like, I want to like, get fondled by, like, 14 year old boys. Women in, like, the past, like, fought for my right to, like, show my underpinnings."

Like.

Kapunua said...

And all of this "reclaim the word" crap is BS. That worked out really well with the N-word, didn't it?

The whole "reclaim the word" movement just seems to reek of, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em."

Kapunua said...

You know, sort of, "Men, and women too, are never going to stop calling us that. So we might as well just suck it up and pretend it's okay."

Anonymous said...

Yes, just because we've decided we are now 'empowered' by being called that doesn't mean the person who hurled that sort of abuse at you wasn't intent on insulting you.

Anonymous said...

So much bullshit.

It makes as much sense as telling women that being prostitutes and strippers is liberating because they're making a living from using their "sexual power" over men.

If someone who calls themselves a feminist gives an explanation of why you should embrace a word it doesn't necessarily mean you need to embrace it or agree with it.

I believe in the principles of empowerment of women and equality. I believe that men would fare better under these principles too. New research has indicated men fare worse socially, academically and healthwise than women. This partially has to do with how trapped they are in their own sexual stereotype.

Feminism is not only for females but males too.

I agree, she may have 'experienced' loss herself but I bet you won't hear the mother of those children saying the same kind of things, the ignorance of the childless, kind of similar to Franks comment about the coathanger really.

Anonymous said...

Sorry, I'm not trying to say all childless people are ignorant, I just think that as a parent you perceive things differently maybe to someone who doesn't have kids, I know the majority of childless people wouldn't make comments like that, I just worded it wrong.

Anonymous said...

I'm not excusing Happy's comment, but she is a kid and I'm not really sure that she understands some of the things she is saying. It's rather common among kids who were drawn in by MCR. So many of them have a distorted sense of death, like they don't take it seriously. I think maybe that's one of the reasons they became fans of Gerard's death-obsessed music in the first place.

Fangirls have done far worse things, like wishing rape and death on MCR's detractors, even going so far as to make death threats against the restaurant owner who catered the meal that gave the band food poisoning.

While I don't agree with her comment, I don't see the point of continuing to berate her for it. We've told her how we feel and she acknowledged it. Time to let it go.

Anonymous said...

I find it incredibly funny how Brazilian/Chilean fangirls equate our criticism of MCR and Dim-Z to one basic premise: that we all wanted to be married to Jersey Gee.

I don't think Brazilian/Chilean fangirls understand the concept of feminism at all. Their culture is very different than that in America and Europe.

The girl on lj who said her aunt had been forced to self-abort and "made jokes about it all the time" was Latin-American, as was the girl who mocked the victim of sexual harassment.

A lot of people don't realize that up until 1991 it was actually legal for males to kill females who had "dishonored" their families (committing adultery, getting pregnant out of wedlock, etc.). Mind boggling, isn't it?

it's still legal in a lot of the middle eastern countries too.

There was a trial against a woman who had defended herself when she was raped. If i remember right the UN got involved

Anonymous said...

In many parts of the world females are still considered chattels to men and a burden on their families.

Anonymous said...

In many middle eastern countries a woman's family will blame her when she is raped. There are countless cases of women being killed by their own families for not "protecting their honor".

Idiots like Lindsey who think they're doing so much for women by encouraging them to use words like "cunt" don't have a frigging clue. What they don't seem to realize is that a lot of the girls they are "influencing" live in countries where physical and psychological abuse of females by males is a part of their daily lives.

It makes me really angry.

It wouldn't be ironic. Irony is the opposite of what you expect. If he'd sung a song about never getting it, then such a terrible diagnosis would be ironic.

Unfortunately, it would not be ironic if that happened. Smoking drastically raises your chances of developing cancer. And what really kills me is that it raises the chances of your kids getting some childhood cancer, too.

When people smoke around their kids, it disgusts me. Even if they don't smoke right in front of them, the toxins stay on your clothes. You pick up your kids, hug them, change them, basically they're smoking, except without filters.

And the smoke lingers everywhere. In the house, the furniture, frigging, the family pets. It's gross, and tantamount to child abuse.

I can see how years ago, not many people knew how bad second hand smoke was. But now, there's no excuse.

Also, very sad about Corey Haim. :(

So much for this hate-blog 9:17 conveniently ignores the lyrics of the songs that imbecile Lindsey Way made her career out of.

9:40 if that wasn't a joke, at least you finally woke up.

9:40 was a troll.

Lindsey Way has a career?

I know you guys don't like talking about it, but can somebody please explain this Mayo's thing to me?

I found the site and read some of the posts and comments and it makes no sense to me at all. How and why did people come to the conclusion that Gerard was the author of that blog? It doesn't sound anything like him at all. It doesn't even seem anything like the fake Gerard or "fanfic" Gerard that people sometimes talk about.

As for the SS person, I don't see how anybody ever thought that was Frank. I took some of the posts and ran them through a gender predictor and it said that SS is most likely a female, as if the bunnies and kittens thing wasn't a tipoff anyway.

Obviously I wasn't around at the beginning, but I just don't see how anyone could seriously have thought those guys were Mayo and SS. Was it just role playing or something?

Besides, the three people who comment regularly are such tired, boring people. Why do anons act like they're keepers of some holy grail or something? Or are they the anons?

Sorry but I just don't get it.

Anonymous said...

I can't tell if some of these comments are a joke or not. And that's scary.

Fuck off 9:40. You don't know shit.

So is this band ever going to update anyone on Gerard's vocal problems or give a release date for the new record? It seems like there is just too much silence right now.

If you ask me, there's not enough silence. Who the hell cares if they're making a new record?

"We also wanted to give you all a quick heads up on how the record is progressing. We have been writing some very powerful new songs so this week the four of us entered the studio once again, and what has been ending up on tape each night is some of the most exciting and honest work we have ever created."

This is Frank's most recent blog update apparently.

The beginning of the end IMHO.

Anonymous said...

I think it's the beginning of the end too.

The fact that they're going back into the studio now even though they claimed they already had the record pretty much in the bag makes me really suspicious. It's like they haven't had their shit together in a long time.

And what of Gerard's vocal problems? If he's recording in the studio they must not be all that serious. I think that was just a story they made up to keep from getting their asses sued for bailing out on Soundwave.

They need to get themselves sorted out and get a record out while at least a few people remember who they are. Personally, I don't think it will happen.

or if it does, it'll be really pathetic and forced.

----- If that's how you feel about Mayo and his blog why were you there 2 days ago leaving links for him and SS? If you don't care.

I think that's a fair question to ask.

Mayo hasn't made a post in nearly four months now. Why are people still talking about him/her?

no disrespect to anyone that frequents here but i must admit i am a bit confused. what is your main objective with all of this? i get the sense that not only do you want the band to end but you also want a handwritten note of apology. what makes you qualified to judge these people? you bought a CD went to some shows and maybe hung a poster on the wall. MCR is not a religion and they don't need to answer to any of you. you cant hold them accountable for sins you have created. if the music doesn't speak to you anymore simply move on. and if this band is so irrelevant why do you spend your time dissecting photos, interviews and twitter accounts. YOU have to make an effort to do those things. in my opinion what i have read says little about MCR and MSI but volumes about the "anonymous" people that contribute.

Pointing and laughing at assy d-list LA celebrity wannabes.

What's yours?

Anonymous said...

um, the people you are writing about are never in celebrity rags and never show up to the los angeles hollywood circus. its my observation that this is actually a bit more deep rooted. what really bothers you? you are clearly threatened by something.

Anonymous said...

10:01 I think it speaks volumes about you that you are on this blog or you would ignore the whole thing. Maybe you're the one who is actually threatened.

Not true. I remember when they attended the Hello Kitty do, that was full of celebs, and the special Cure concert for celebs. They probably go to many that we don't know about, and never will because they are not classed as popular within the circuit. Another reason why celeb rags wont touch them as it's mainly only emo girls that follow them.

What an arrogant, presumptive comment.

I agree if these people hate the band so much why do they follow them obssesively and know everything about them?! it's pretty pathetic! just move on! clearly, you must still like the band a little bit! why else would you obsess about them and their ives!? mmmmmm... XD

Anonymous said...

I would really like to know what the fansheep would do if we would constantly invade the places they gather to tell them to move on?

What is it to you?
Please, don't make the mistake and project your own actions and feelings onto others. Just because you can't move on and almost shit your pants by the thought of the band splitting up doesn't mean that we are just as desperately depending on them to give our life a meaning.

I'm also quite sick of repeating myself all the time just because some fan girls can't read or are just too stupid to understand what this blog is about.
They are not the first to come here and ask why we are doing this and until that shitty band isn't going to disappear they also won't be the last.

It amazes me what dumb South American fangirls come up with when they come here to attack us. They left out we're all jealous because we wished we married his smelly ass!

How can you know that they're South American, anon?

A quantity of posts that could have been said to be identity misleading were deleted. Maybe Mayo was given the hard word about impersonating someone?

Why are people talking about M here? Talk about that there. This blog is about G Way.

I just checked out Eliza's blog 'Pretty Cheap' and, man, I know I'm not the one to talk but can't she use spell check?
She tries to come off as so professional and then has so many spelling errors in her posts. Who's gonna take her seriously?

Of course we don't know that these girls are South American.

I think the person who made this comment read the discussion we had earlier about how some fans from certain countries don't understand the concept of feminism from the standpoint of Europeans and women from the US because there cultures are more backward -- and now they're using that to try and discredit us by trying to make it seem as though we assume that all fangirls are South American, which is totally ridiculous.

What I don't understand is why they go to so much trouble to try and discredit us...unless they recognize the truth in the things we say about their beloved heroes and, as usual, are trying to deflect and distract.

I am not a diehard MCR fan (especially after the nylon interview). However, I find it amusing that in your hatred for G.Way, many of you decided to dismiss the fact that Courtney Love was discussing FCB's new attorney. Even more amusing is that CL used to confuse Gerard with Mikey, but no one on here mentions Mikey and FCB. And slap your ass funny is that you would attribute any credibility to a woman who stole her child's inheritance, overdosed infront of her, and abused her. Even better, a woman who used her husband's death to profit. On a site that waves the flag of feminism - this is a true hero!

Hate Gerard for what he has actually said or done. But you become what you are pointing the finger at when you "create" shit to fling at him.

You can hide under the pretend label of "feminist," but in reality your posts are mostly based on attacking a rock star you don't like because he got married, said stupid shit and had a baby. Some of you have attacked a baby who is less than a year old and his Grandmother. How very brave and clever to go after those who can't defend themselves. The attacks on his mother are priceless - you don't know her, she is simply the mother of a couple rock stars - who are you to judge her?

LynZ is attacked for getting married, having a baby and for asserting she has her own career.

My question is how attacking Gerard Way and his family advances the cause of feminism? You set it back by portraying women as bitchy and jealous.
