Okay, so I have a question. If a band's management gets 25% of everything a band gets, how is it that Brian Schechter can say there isn't any money in managing bands anymore? Does that mean there's no money in music anymore?
Managers typically get 15-20% of a band's take. That rarely includes songwriting royalties, but often does include profit on merch. If MCR was doing really well, then it seems like Brian would have been doing well. I don't think he was going broke or anything, he just wasn't getting rich and all the headaches of managing morons like GWay just weren't worth it.
If Lindsey were to be pregnant again I don't think the fanbase would care one way or the other.
Remember how they all clamored trying to see a baby bump? They finally got one picture of Lindsey at a rock festival, but by then they didn't really care all that much. Everyone kept waiting for Gerard to say something about the pregnancy, but when he finally did say the little bit he said, nobody really cared.
Then, after the baby was born, fans wanted so desperately to see a picture of her and they still haven't gotten one because that masked baby in a Batman suit doesn't count.
Of course it's the Ways' prerogative how they want to handle showing their kid to the world, but I think the fans' feelings are a little hurt that they haven't even been allowed one peek at Bandit's infancy. They think they know him and they want to be part of his life, even just the teeniest bit. Some of them imagine that he communicates with them on a sooper sekrut blog. Others try desperately to get responses from him on twitter. But however they do it, most of them want at least a little piece of him. So, when he doesn't even allow them to see a picture of his daughter who has been in the world for five months, a lot of them are probably going to take it personally.

They may have supported his musical/comic book endeavors, but that was their choice and they should not expect him to give them something back in return in addition to their purchases. The transaction is complete when money exchanges hands for a concert ticket, comic book etc. I appreciate a lot of fans are kids who don't know any better, but the bottom line is that being in a band is their job, it's what they do for a living, it's a business.

I don't consider him to be good-looking though. He's too unfit and his head is too big for his body. Besides that, I hate his speaking voice and the way he gestures with his hand when he talks. He's too fidgety and self-conscious and it's kind of painful for me to watch interviews with him.

I never used to believe the shit from Gerard & Lindsey about knowing each other for a long time. Now I'm not so sure. I'm starting to think he couldn't show her because of the type of band MSI was, cause MCR were still saving lives. He dropped all that when he decided to marry her.

I agree with most of what you said except this. I don't think he wanted it to be common knowledge and I think he liked the fact that the people at Mayo were a bit older. He did throw loads of clues out there but he was always deliberately careful enough so that you could never be 100% sure, you were just left thinking that's one hell of a coincidence time after time. I also agree Mayo may have been someone who toured with the band but SS knew and predicted way too many things about Leathermouth and Frank when the band weren't touring for him to be a tech/roadie etc.
When the blog was at it's peak, when MCR were touring he was around a lot and I think it was just a novelty for him. I honestly think he's over it now as despite what some people say, he doesn't go to Mayo any more.
I don't like a lot of the regs left at Mayo, but the other anon comment about him not befriending middle aged fans is a bit harsh. There used to be some really fun, interesting people at Mayo that would just casually chat with him and I think he liked that. I remember Mustard goofing around with him and she told him she would absolutely die of shock if Frank did something special for her at the Philly show the next night and SS replied 'Prepare to die!' and then the next night Frank rapped the fresh prince and even Gerard was all 'I don't know what's up with Frank, he just wanted to do this tonight and he's been practicing that all day!'
I still don't believe there was a "Kat" or I'm kinda of hoping there wasn't, because what's been said implies he was cheating on and off with Lindsey and Eliza.
