a lesson on how to treat women.

Gerard shows us how real men mark their territory.

I was going to say "he has no respect for her and she has no respect for herself" but instead I thought if you want to keep it funny.... Since this place is for you all and is about venting and laughing... Why don't you all caption it if you want?

Feel free to come here and vent, and laugh at stupidity. And the hypocrisy of them still calling themselves "feminists" and the mindless fangirls tho agree with them.

Gerard's hair is always an amusing topic.. It does look like roadkill.

Anonymous said...

Why thank you! Very gracious of you!

After all, WE aren't on the wagon, are we?

Roadkill! Bwahahhah!

He needs to sort his hair out. Srsly.

Midlife crisis time = Combover time!

True. And she's all about the famous connections and the name dropping.

I'd hate life that revolved around which celeb I hanged around with that day. It's like you're living for the prestige and not yourself. Oh well. I guess some people are into that.

Anonymous said...

Give frances a few days she will make her twitter public again. just like eliza used to do.

Anonymous said...

He should invest in that spray on hair and he could have a quiff like he did in the Ghost Of You video... He could change his hair every day.. quiff, 'fro, whatever!

I would hate to be famous. I'd like to be rich though, just not rich and famous! LOL

Anonymous said...

That would be hilarious!

I can't stand liquor! Gross. lol.

Anonymous said...

He just needs to accept it and grow old gracefully.

Anonymous said...

he's far too vain for that.

Anonymous said...

Well how about some special sparkling apple juice? ^_~

Anonymous said...

Mikey is getting the bald spot too. It's genetic. Not a whole lot they can about it.

Nah! The second you have money, everybody else wants a piece of what you have and it causes nothing but trouble.

I'm a "as long as I'm comfortable and happy" girl.

Anonymous said...

The thing I've noticed most about Gerard is how much he's aged in a short space of time. It's scary and it looks like life is taking it's toll on him.

Anonymous said...

Well how about some special sparkling apple juice?
Ha! Love some.

You're right. Maybe just enough to not have a mortgage any more! Ah, bliss!

Mikey is getting the bald spot too. It's genetic. Not a whole lot they can about it.

He also has a receeding hairline. At least Gerard doens't have that too. Too many animals would be killed in an attempt to hide the truth.

Very true RW, very true.

yeah they have that widows peak thing going on.

I'd be bored not working. I would like enough money so that I could be choosy about where I work, and not have to worry about getting through down times. And be able to travel wherever I want without having to save for years for it.

Anonymous said...

Really? But think of how crappy daytime TV is.

You're right. Maybe just enough to not have a mortgage any more! Ah, bliss!

I agree with you there.

That'll put hair on your chest! hahaha
We should give some to Gerard. It might put some hair on his head.

Anonymous said...

I really want to know what that was on the back of his head. Is he growing dreadlocks?

Anyway, gotta head out. Have a good evening, all :)

Gotta go now.

Anonymous said...

Fan girls have been very quiet about the new songs. I don't think they went down too well.

Anonymous said...

See you later!

Anonymous said...

Everyone is saying they want to wait to hear the studio versions.

Anonymous said...

That's cos they are shit live.

Anonymous said...

Gerard needs to stop smoking. If he won't do it for his baby he needs to do it for his career.

Anonymous said...

Interesting way of putting it.

Anonymous said...

He gets so out of breath on stage and it will only get worse the older he gets and the more out if shape he gets.

Anonymous said...

I found it hard to form an opinion on the new songs because of poor audio quality.

Anonymous said...

Tobacco is more addictive than heroin. I can't see him quitting smoking.

Anonymous said...

Other people can give up and their careers don't depend on it.

Anonymous said...

I won't be buying the new album and I'm sure lots of other people feel the same way. They used to be original, now it seems they don't even want that anymore. They want to sound like other bands.

Anonymous said...

I wasn't impressed by death before disco. It sounds like an MSI song.

Anonymous said...

Ikr? If he thinks that is the best song he's ever written I don't really know what to say.

Anonymous said...

One word. Mediocre.

Anonymous said...

Maybe mikey will start playing bass to a backing track.

Anonymous said...

And backbends.

Anonymous said...

We can start to worry when he wears pigtails and a school girl uniform!

Anonymous said...

Pass the brain bleach! DNW!

Anonymous said...

I think that musically the album will be sound, but I'm not too sure about lyrical content or the quality of the vocals. I think a lot of people are gonna be disappointed but will be too scared to say so.

Anonymous said...

Gerard is passed his prime. He started the band in his late twenties which didn't do him any favors. The emo trend has been and gone. They've had their fifteen minutes of fame.

Anonymous said...

The teenies will move onto the next big thing aka Jonas Bros!

Anonymous said...

Mya, how many anons have you been here before you got busted? Are your friends in on it too?

VV never banned anyone or any opinions but if you're going to come here with your bullshit people are going to call you on it. It's not like Mayo's here where people just pretend that you're not insane.

Anonymous said...

Warner might even drop them if record sales drop too low.

Anonymous said...

I agree but you are wasting your time. She is crazy. She got busted and just shrugged it off like it was no big deal. She doesn't understand what she did was wrong.

Anonymous said...

I think she's a lit of the mean anons at the other place too.

Anonymous said...

*lot

Anonymous said...

Yeah trust mya to stir shit as an anon.

Anonymous said...

They probably have a four album contract so I doubt it.

Anonymous said...

I know. She has just proved how crazy the uglies at mayo's are.

Anonymous said...

I don't think MCR know what they want to sound like anymore. Best album IMHO was revenge and the new songs didn't sound anything like that. They sounded more like the strokes or some indie band.

Anonymous said...

Of course gerard will start to Twitter and talk to fans just before the next album. So transparent.

Anonymous said...

I think mikey does very little else except tweet. A lot of fans noticed that gerard stopped tweeting when he got his car sorted. Didn't even thank them for their help.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know when the album is due to be released?

Anonymous said...

Dunno. This year though I think.

Anonymous said...

Ok thanks.

Anonymous said...

I don't think the band even knows when the album is going to be released. I first heard late 2009 and now I'm hearing early 2010. Besides, you know how this band is. They always wind up pushing release dates out (probably fixing Gerard's vocals, which can't be an easy task).

Also, something tells me that after the lukewarm reception the new songs have been getting, they might be going back to the drawing board.

Anonymous said...

I can't wait for the new record to drop. I think it's going to tank. I want to hear Gerard try to talk his way out of that one.

Anonymous said...

So you think it has got back to them. Cos even the die hard fans have been 'politely enthusiastic' about the new songs.

Anonymous said...

I remember when they didcthe DR cover and gerard said he became 'increasingly unhappy with his vocals' and insisted they go back so he could do them again before release.

Anonymous said...

Isn't that the same thing that happened with tbpid and he had to have his vocals fixed?

Anonymous said...

Yeah it's supposed to be live footage but it's obviously been overdubbed for gerard's benefit.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, I do think it's gotten back to them. There was a time when anything new by MCR would generate a ton of comments and posts on places like lj. These new songs have gotten practically nothing and the comments they have gotten have been pretty reserved. Stuff like, "I'm waiting to see what the studio version sounds like," all the way to "I'm really not feeling it."

Sure, there's been the fangirl "Oh my God, this is the best! The new CD is going to be the best eva!11!", but those people would get excited over Gerard reading the telephone book onstage.

They have to know that most of the people who are in it for the music aren't biting.

Anonymous said...

I tried to sell my TBPID on eBay and I had to relist it three times before it sold!

Anonymous said...

TBPID was in the bargain bin at my local CD store. They couldn't unload them at all.

Anonymous said...

Well if that really is the case I think they may be rethinking some of their material and that will push back thecalbum release to next year. Time is money as they say. It did all seem a bit rushed to me anyway.

Anonymous said...

New album title..... Three cheers for bandit and my amaaazing wife

Anonymous said...

I think they felt like they had to get something out there because the musical landscape is changing right now. FOB's record didn't do all that well. Panic is breaking up. It's like their whole genre is falling apart, so I think they felt like they had to reinvent themselves really quick to stay relevant at all.

Anonymous said...

I brought you my bullshit you brought me your cash

Anonymous said...

Yeah, what happened to the "raw, punk sound" they said they were going for earlier?

Now they're just "an American rock band"? They must have gotten wind that punk isn't selling or something.

Maybe they think they'll be Kings of Leon for a while.

Anonymous said...

They seem totally ashamed of their previous stuff. They can't just ignore it and pretend it never happened.

Anonymous said...

Looks like indie is the new emo.

Anonymous said...

He's pudgy again. He's lost his looks, he won't have the fanbase he had two years ago. They've moved on. He might think he's relieved to finally get rid of them. But they were the ones spending the money. They were his bread and butter.

Anonymous said...

With acts like Fleet Foxes, The Decemberists and Bon Iver getting so much press, maybe they figured out that punk isn't the way to go.

I'm looking for Gerard to say the band is making their "OK Computer."

Anonymous said...

I hope someone has told him about his hair. There is one vid where frank kind of looks like he's going to laugh but stops himself.

Anonymous said...

Omg yes! I can imagine him saying that!

Anonymous said...

Even the fan on LJ who reviewed the Tokyo show so lovingly talked about Gerard's unsightly "roostery thing" that he has going on at the back of his head. LOL!

Anonymous said...

Their career hangs in the balance and gerard is wearing a dead squirrel on his head and singing songs about disco. What could go wrong?

Anonymous said...

Their career hangs in the balance and gerard is wearing a dead squirrel on his head and singing songs about disco. What could go wrong?

Lol. Well, Thom Yorke has a "wonky eye" so maybe Gerard is thinking he'll have the "head rooster" and that will make MCR Radiohead.

He's about that stupid, you know.

Anonymous said...

This is making me think they will push the album launch back til spring next year. If they don't get this right they are screwed. The funny thing is they will all probably easily get other jobs except mikey.

Anonymous said...

LOL! Yes he really is that full of shit.

Anonymous said...

This new album is gonna suck donkey balls.

Anonymous said...

The funny thing is they will all probably easily get other jobs except mikey.

I think maybe Mikey could have a future in A&R for a record label. He's very personable and he makes friends easily. Also, he has a good ear for talented bands.

I think Gerard will have the hardest time being productive. I think once MCR goes away, so will his comic book writing career.

Anonymous said...

I didn't like any of the songs I heard. They sounded safe. Not edgy not original just generic.

Anonymous said...

I used to think Gerard would try for a stint on Broadway one day, but that was before I knew he couldn't sing.

Hopefully, Lindsey will have some luck with her Banana Man art.

Anonymous said...

Yes that's probably his strongest point.

Anonymous said...

His voice was never the best but it's totally gone to shit.

Anonymous said...

I thought the songs were generic too. I know a lot of people have compared them to the White Stripes, and I can kind of get that because of the way the guitar parts were constructed and there was a Jack White-y vibe to the overall rhythm, but it was like a really bad garage band trying to be Jack White.

And the vocals on Death Before Disco? Gerard shouting "Listen to me! I've got the answer!"

Um, no, Gerard Honey. You really, really don't.

Anonymous said...

I have to go and clean my cat litter tray. Nice chatting with you.

Anonymous said...

Nice to talk to you too!

Anonymous said...

Nice chatting with you, too. :)

Anonymous said...

That makes him sound like some crazy evangelist!

Anonymous said...

Doesn't it? Honestly, would you look to someone with a dead squirrel on the back of his head for the answer to anything?

I know I wouldn't.

Anonymous said...

Delusions of self importance much? Lol I nearly wrote impotence!

Anonymous said...

Lmao. It's funny cos it's true!

Anonymous said...

Lol I nearly wrote impotence!

Lol! Now impotence I could believe! Gerard having answers to anything of importance? Not so much.

Anonymous said...

Impotence? *shudders*

Anonymous said...

I've heard stories about the reason he didn't do groupies...

Nah. I won't go there.

Anonymous said...

None of us want to go there anon.

We'll leave that to poor Lindsey.

LMAO! You have a way with words, 5:18pm.

actually it depends on where they signed their contract 30stm had huge issues just within the past year. they were supposed to do 3 albums on a 7 year contract.. Jared said that most labels try to avoid signing contracts in California becuase they can only sign a 7 year contract so it would depend on where MCR signed and to how many albums

MCR could be rushing the new album becuase their contract are coming up

Anonymous said...

I think live albums count towards contracts too, don't they? How many live records have MCR done now?

Anonymous said...

They've had 3 studio albums and two live albums.

Anonymous said...

"I think mikey does very little else except tweet. A lot of fans noticed that gerard stopped tweeting when he got his car sorted. Didn't even thank them for their help."

I find myself briefly wondering WHAT exactly the guys do when they're not in the studio. They don't have 9 to 5 jobs so how do they occupy their days? WoW and shitty horror flicks?

And yes, it was very telling when even the most devoted fangirls were tweeting him about only bothering with fans for the car. Of course I remember he responded that he was not in fact only using them for that, and proceeded to answer lots of fans for a couple days. But that didn't last very long, and he went back to his little twit clique, and eventually M.I.A.

I do have to hand it to the others, minus Bob, for interacting with the fans as much as they do. Even if they do ridicule them every so often, at least they're acknowledging their existence.

Anonymous said...

From the LJ review of the Tokyo show:

So yeah, it wasn't a huge stadium conquering call to arms, like we know they can deliver, it was more like a lock in at your fave pub where only the cool kids stay behind and you get control of the juke box and can sit up on the bar while helping yourself to packets of peanuts and watch your mates dance themselves silly between the empty tables.

LMFAO. Cuz NIN fans are not cool but MCR fans totally are.

Reading the comments here really disturbs me. These people don't seem to realise what Alcoholism means. It is a disease, one which you have for life. It does not go away. You cannot have one drink, it doesn't work like that.

They appear to think that Gerard Way is above the law regarding Alcoholism. That he is able to control his drinking now, and can have a couple of drinks. It doesn't work like that. He knows that, as much as any addict does. It is with you for life and it is going nowhere. There is no get out of jail free card. There is no cure.

4.39 said...

I would have posted that comment on the appropriate thread on Buzznet. However I don't have an account, and if I created a new one to express my opinion, I would have no doubt been called out as a trouble maker.

I have no desire to start trouble with those people, I just think ignorance of that subject matter can be very damaging.

Also, apparantly it is OK for GW to have a couple of beers, as long as he isn't using drugs again. GW's (hard) drug abuse came about as a result of his Alcoholism. It is his Alcoholism that was the primary addiction.

They don't seem to realise how very relevant that is.

Anonymous said...

Anotherway amuses me. If she was really who she says she is, why would she be holding court at BN of all places?

I've met a lot of people in the MCR fandom over the years who have 'connections' -- some who do, some who only claim to, and others who just hint around at it. The ones who do wouldn't be caught dead at Buzznet.

Anonymous said...

These people also forget the statement Gerard made once about how if he ever has another drink then it would be the end for him. I don't have the exact quote, but that's the essence of what he said.

Anonymous said...

True 4.48.

However if she does have some kind of connection (however loose), then her suggesting GW is drinking again (but it's only a few drinks etc), is really unprofessional. Surely what goes on the mile should stay on the mile? Unless she is preparing the teenies for an admission?

Who knows.

Anonymous said...

4.52 I remember that quote also. I think he spoke the truth then. I do hope he isn't drinking again. It may start off small but it will escalate. There is no other way for it to go.

I know we take the piss out of him here for various reasons but I wouldn't wish a relapse on anyone.

Anonymous said...

I agree, 4:56. Relapsing for an alcoholic/drug addict is a horrible thing. In Gerard's case, however, I fear the worst. I think he relapsed during PR and has probably been struggling with it ever since.

Right now? I think he's drinking and possibly on drugs. His lack of grooming seriously bothers me. Yes, I know he's always been somewhat lax in the hygiene department, but after he "cleaned up" from the alcohol/drugs, at least he was always presentable when he was touring.

Now look at him. He looks just like he did back in the old drunk days, only older and it's not quite so cute on him as it was before.

I seriously fear for his mental well-being and for his life.

Anonymous said...

.

I can't believe the stupidity that's happening on bn and the comments of that airhead 'anotherway' really take the cake:
overindulging or avoiding something is easy to do, but to keep it in moderation requires true discipline. :).

Is she insane?
It's clear that the people commenting on that bullshit thread are teens and twens with no life experience whatsoever.

Just like you said, anon, Gerard is an alcoholic for life and this means that he has to stay away from everything that contains alcohol f. e. certain kinds of medicine (cough syrup or even food.

How embarrassing and disappointing must it be to have such a moronic fan base?

Sometimes I think Gerard & Co. do read the comments in the MCR forum on BN and get so frustrated, angry and devastated and then start to do that stupid shit like posting a picture of the c-word on Twitpic or desperately try to change their image to get rid of those loons.
I wouldn't put it past them though.

Anonymous said...

MCR's fans are enough to drive anybody to drink.

Srsly.

Anonymous said...

It's obvious these people have no idea what's it's like to experience alcoholism unless you are one or know someone close to you that is. And they probably have the image of someone who is close to collapsing, puking or making fools of themselves. Most alcoholics are are functioning drunks. Their tolerance to drink is higher than most other people and they can drink a lot more before getting totally wasted.

Anonymous said...

Alcoholism is not about how you "moderate" your drink, it's about how you cope with the stresses of your life not to revert to something that gives you the false illusion of coping.

Anonymous said...

5.24 iawtc
For example, Gerard was, by his own admission and the rest of the band's, completely trashed at summersonic 04, but he was still able to sing (some may say badly), and stand.

Btw, the anon that posted the stuff from Anotherway. I'm the anon who assumed you'd taken it from her private bn. I know i apologized and so did you and it was all good, but I wanted to say sorry again, in case someone took what I said and assumed it to be right and told her or something. I know you're anon too so nobody would know it was you anyway, but what she said in reply was out of line.

Anonymous said...

Often alcoholics hide their drinking. Chances are, you're not going to catch one of them having a drink at a party or a glass of wine with dinner.

Instead, they hide a bottle of vodka (scotch, bourbon, whatever their choice of poison) at the back of the pantry or some other out of the way place and they drink when they are alone.

Obviously, these people have never been around an alcoholic before.

Anonymous said...

It's the internet. When you put something out there in a public forum it becomes fair game.

How old is this anotherway person again? Old enough to have traveled with Queen? Hmm...

A tad bit naive, isn't she?

Anonymous said...

And the biggest lie is to themselves. That they're in control and they're not really slipping.

Anonymous said...

The picture posted at 3:20 concerns me. Why does he have to wear sunglasses? None of the others do.

Anonymous said...

Exactly 5:43. If he is drinking/on drugs again, I'd doubt many if anyone, knows. Including the band. He knows the damage it would cause, It'll be done quietly and alone wherever and whenever he's able to. In one interview he said (about the coke) that nobody had known. That he'd gotten very good at hiding things. He's not stupid enough to relapse it in public.

Having said all that I really hope it's not the case. He pisses me off in a lot of ways but I wouldn't wish him to fall off the wagon, even for a second. It's not a fucking joke to be taking the piss out of like some seem to think. If he relapses it won't be the hilarious fuck up for the band that some are implying, it'll be the disasterous fuck up of his life. He had a serious problem, I sometimes think people don't realize how bad it can be.

Anonymous said...

Could someone give me the link to Loveman's blog, please?

Anonymous said...

I thought loveman was deleted?
Can't remember the url though, sorry anon. I'm sure someone will have it.

Anonymous said...

I doubt that 5:54. They have seen it all before, they would know the signs.

Anonymous said...

If people think that Gerard relapsing into alcohol/drugs again is funny, they should go back and read about other rock stars and their struggles.

They should read about David Crosby and his liver transplant and look at pictures of the guy back in his heyday and pictures of him just 15 years later. They should read about Layne Staley from Alice in Chains. They should read about Kurt Cobain or have a look at some of the pictures of Courtney Love that are floating around.

It ain't pretty and it rarely ends well. It sure as hell isn't funny.

Anonymous said...

I doubt that 5:54. They have seen it all before, they would know the signs.

It depends on how good he is at hiding it. Also, even if they know, what are they going to do about it?

Anonymous said...

I doubt that 5:54. They have seen it all before, they would know the signs.

People are like ostriches. They have a real talent for sticking their heads in the sand.

Or maybe if they do know what's going on and they confront him, they just get thrown around onstage in front of thousands of people.

Anonymous said...

It's naive to think that just because they've seen it before, they'd automatically know. You're forgetting he's DONE IT BEFORE, he may well be better at hiding it. Plus, having a small kid around gives lots of excuses for tiredness/sunglasses/slightly odd behaviour, ect. Honestly though, I think at first he'd only do it when he KNOWS he has time to himself. A guilty pleasure, if you like. But then it will just spiral. I'm sure he can find time to be by himself if he wants to, addicts can ALWAYS find that time if they need it that bad. Never underestimate them.

Anonymous said...

You know, I get the feeling G runs the show anyway, the others aren't gonna matter if they accuse him of something. Mcr is nothing without Gerard, and Gerard knows it. The guys can act concerned, try and help, but what's it gonna accomplish? G being pissed at them?

Anonymous said...

Maybe they think they're good at hiding it because no one approaches them. Because nothing is said doesn't mean it's not suspected. And how do you approach someone when you know it will be denied and you have no real proof, just hunches.

anotheranon said...

6:03, are you the anon I was talking about PR with the other day? Particularly the bit you just mentioned? Just sayin' hi, if you are.

anotheranon said...

Honestly, you think if they'd known he was on coke they wouldn't have shaken the shit out of him for it back then? Maybe they thought he could handle the drink, that eventually he'd be ok, but they're not stupid guys, they knew the consequences of that stuff back then. Addicts are good at hiding things, even if you know they're doing something, don't assume you know the whole story; where, when, what, how much etc. Underestimation is the worst thing you can do.

Anonymous said...

The guys can act concerned, try and help, but what's it gonna accomplish? G being pissed at them?

Maybe it's the other way round.

anotheranon said...

Really, if they do suspect but he won't admit a problem, all they can do is wait for him to fall. Sad but true.

anotheranon said...

The other way around ike maybe they don't care? Or something else?

People here seem to forget that Gerard wasn't the only one abusing drugs back then.
Wasn't Mikey a cokehead too? And I bet that Frank and Ray knew how to use a bong.
I don't believe the we were all so concerned and never thought or noticed that Gerard had those problems crap.
Everyone of them had the drug of their choice and didn't really care about the other. I guess there was a As long as you look the other way about what I'm doing for fun I will do the same to you policy.
They just realized that it got out of hand when Gerard really started to fuck up their live performances i. e. started to jeopardize their career. I think that if he had been able to handle himself better with the alcohol and the drugs and would have been able to put on a good show, nobody of them would have cared.

yup mikey was, before and after gerard, i think

People also forget that both Ray and Bob have been so drunk after a show that they've barely been able to stand. And this happened as recently as the last tour.

If you're boozing it up yourself, you aren't too likely to be checking up on what your bandmates are doing.

And I think you're right about the looking th e other way to an extent, but I don't think they realized the extent of Gerard's problem until he told them when he seriously fucked up.

I remember Mikey saying that he didn't do anything re Gerard's heavy drinking/drug use, because he was basically doing the same at the time. It would have been hypocritical.

Mikey continued with his addictions up until The Paramore stint. That is when he got clean and sober.

They say addiction is genetic don't they? I think it's kind of sad. I wonder what their parents feel about raising two boys who clearly have alot of emothional problems. They must question their role as parents?

I'm not blaming them, but as a parent myself, I know it would weigh very heavily on my shoulders if my daughter grew up with similar problems.

They can't really understand it, they don't have the addiction.

*emotional

I sound like I have a lisp! LOL.

It's more your environment playing a part in your genetic susceptibility.

Anonymous said...

Yes, that makes sense 7.00.

I guess there has to be a predisposition. Not everyone is capable of being addicted to anything. Whereas others are very capable.

I've heard that Mikey didn't really give up the cocaine habit after the Paramour. There are several people from the NY party scence who will corroborate this.

When he left to go on his "extended honeymoon" is when he finally got clean.

i think the whole "i quit drinking" is just another Warner marketing ploy to sell more albums to younger crowds.

I remember there was somebody from mcrumorcontrol who kept saying stuff about Donna Way not liking Alicia because she "gave Mikey something" and she alluded to that something being either a drug addiction or a disease. It was hard to tell because she was being all cryptic.

Anyway that girl (youshouldveknown, I think?) was in with the zomgmcrrumor people, including that saltylicorice person who used to run Stafoo. I'm pretty sure she was the one from the NY party scene who was spreading the rumors about Mikey's cocaine use.

I totally agree with you. I've heard the "I don't do groupies" thing was as well. I don't think we can believe anything that comes from the MCR camp.

How old is this anotherway person again? Old enough to have traveled with Queen? Hmm...

I agree with you. I dont believe her until there's a solid proof where he/she toured with Queen.

This reminds me of this girl on INO who claims she works with Warner and had a chance to talk for 45 minutes to Gerard during his comic book signing. She also claimed that she drives a black challenger just like gerard and all that shit, but it turns out she's just a teenager.

Oh those zomg people were so annoying. I remember them leaving their cryptic bullshit all over lj. They were always on anonquestions duking it out with Miss E and Meghan and even with HeyChris during the Eliza era. Salty was the worst.

They seem to have disappeared as of late. I wonder if they're still around.

Hahaha, funny thing is he nearly got married to one of them.

I remember this girl called CJ who used to leave cryptic poetry and stuff on her blog. Who is she anyway? Is she really related to Brian Schecter?

I've heard the "I don't do groupies" thing was as well.

There were a lot of stories about Gerard making out with girls in his drunk days. Supposedly, he would be so drunk that that was all he could do because certain parts were non-operational. Lol.

According to the zomg folks, CJ was dating Brian at the time. The story was that she (and Brian) could not stand Eliza and that some of her more cryptic blog posts were directed towards her.

Don't know how true any of that is though.

9.15 what? I think even those who hate the man can see he was more than likely clean for a while at least after that. Though maybe he wasn't on enough drugs before, it was after that he turned into an ass, afterallllllll.

CJ was the one credited with writing the infamous anon letter on INO by most of those "in the know" folks back then.

9:29,

I'm sure he did clean up his act for a bit, probably because Warner forced him to. I also think it was Warner's idea to go so public with it. That was the marketing ploy.

Anonymous said...

We would be the last to know if he was drinking.

Anonymous said...

I guess that would make some sense, she'd have been around for it all. are those two still together?

Has this been talked about here? What's going on with Brian not being the manager anymore? Anyone think it weird nobody talks about it?

Anonymous said...

I think he probably is off the wagon but none of us are in a position to prove it so we will never know.

Gerard seemed like a genuinely nice guy during the Revenge headlining tour in 05. That was when he was so heavily into the "I'm clean and sober" thing.

It lasted up until about January of 07 when the engagement rumors to Eliza started up. That's when he turned back into an ass. I'd wager his sobriety was over by then.

Anonymous said...

Not necessarily. You could tell by his erratic behavior.

I agree with that. He was also that way during Warped of 05 which was in the summer of that year. So, he was a nice guy for about a year and a half.

I'm thinking that he relapsed after that.

LOL I was an admin on INO so I can tell you straight it wasn't CJ.

Oh god that's too hilarious. Please someone say that's written somewhere, or someone has more info on that. I don't care, make it up it'll prob be true anyway haha.

Not so much "I don't do groupies" as "I can't do groupies"

Anonymous said...

i wonder which is the real gerard.

Lol, sure you were. And you're going to say it was Frank, because he suddenly learned to spell and punctuate.
