I saw those blog entries. They were sad and deep and wrung of someone truly hurting for their friend, or someone acting it very well. SS posted a comment or two withou being signed in, on M's blog. People picked up the SS name and searched for it as a blog name. That's how they found his blog. When word got around, he deleted it. Now, the person's screen name is the SS one, but the url is changed. It used to be SS' name, but is now a reference to Frankenstein, and the entries are entirely different. SS, the true SS didn't want that publicity, he wanted to get things out. He didn't interact with people the way the new one does and he didn't write them stories or puzzles. The new one also has next to zero clues that it's Frank. The ole one was full of them. I think the original was Frank but when he disappeared after deleting his blog someone decided to ride on the tails of that and start a new one. If it were frank he could've picked something like 'rhino shit' iamadirtbag.blogspot.com, to keep it private again, but the person kept the SS name. I don't know, I'm rambling now.
I believe it's the same SS. I've been around from the beginning but what you probably don't realise is that the geese crap and stuff is all to do with blog references. He didn't just randomly come up with that shit.
Unlike Mayo, SS has predicted so many things, not just about my chem but also about leathermouth. I disagree with the comment about Frank wanting everyone to know he was SS, I actually think he absolutely didn't want the whole fandom to know. He is definitely very playful and seemed to enjoy leaving hints and clues but felt safe knowing there would always be an element of doubt and nobody could ever prove 100% it was him. After venting the way he did, I can totally understand that. At first I think he liked chatting to older fans but now he never really comes round any more as it's gotten so ridiculous over there.
I did wonder if he knew whether or not Mayo was Gerard and he actually said that he didn't know. But if you have been around since the start the evidence that SS is Frank is overwhelming. Most of the evidence though he was clever enough not to write on his blog page, but as an anon at Mayo's. Someone mentioned Frank logging on s//c and I remember SS was on Mayo's but Frank was not on s//c, SS chatted for a while and then said he had to go and write up some stuff and made a joke about no rest for the wicked (or words to that effect) and then about 15 mins later Frank posted a lengthy bulletin on s//c. It might have even been the one where he made loads of references to the blog. One reference could have been a coincidence but I'm not kidding, there were about six or seven.
I think the whole thing, the puzzles, the "clues", the Latin, the changing the profile... it all smacks of role playing to me.
Maybe this original SS really was Frank, but nothing will ever convince me or most of the rest of the world that this guy posting about geese and shit is him. I don't care what it's referencing...mostly because I'm pretty sure he wouldn't care enough to reference anything from Mayo's blog.
Of course people are going to believe what they want. I suppose they believe what they need to believe.
With regard to the original venting blog, it WAS under the same URL as now. It IS the same person.
What happened was, nobody knew SS had a blog cos he only used to comment with his name in black, not in blue. The he must have thought 'Shit, using my name as my url isn't probably the smartest thing in the world to do' so he changed the url. Nobody would have ever guessed his new url it's too random. The only reason it came to light was cos one of the stalkers at Mayo's did a blog search under SS's name and it came up with 'blog not found' but they noticed there was content in the google cache which meant at some point there had been a blog under that name. When she went in the google cache, google gave her the new url which is the current SS one. Same blog, but the owner changed his name to avoid being found. It was this new blog, the one with the current url that had all the venting stuff. SS had left it in standard format eg. comments enabled cos he probably thought nobody would ever find that blog so when he logged into his blog one day to see loads of comments under his personal private thoughts, he must have freaked the fuck out cos he deleted the blog posts and the comments and for a while the blog was empty and it was only ever the latin header that changed.
I don't follow S//C that much so I never saw that side of stuff...but the first blog posts were enough to convince me.

That was actually a hilarious rap and Gerard even said he didn't know what had gotten into Frank but he had spent all day practicing that rap.

THIS. In 2 years if it was someone role playing they would have fucked up by now. You might be able to predict something Frank/MCR/Leathermouth is gonna say or do once or twice as a sheer fluke, but consistently for 2 years? Like I said I was just a lurker, I sometimes spoke to people but stayed well away from Amy, cos she just comes off as a total bitch. Wendy and Mya are a bit crazy too. Kapu bit my head off once when I tried to talk to her, but another time she was really nice. I do feel bad for the way Kapu was treated. They just didn't want her on the blog. I think they felt threatened by her because both Mayo and SS always used to talk to her.
I still think it's telling that SS and Frank both mis-spell weird.

So just like this place is for discussing what people think about Gerard irl, I thought it only fair for there to be somewhere for people to talk about the blogs.

I've long given up trying to figure out who Mayo or SS really are, but it use to be fun trying to put all the pieces together. Then it just got frustrating, for me anyway.
Eventually, some people (Blog Hogs) posted more stuff on this blog than they did on their own blog (for attention) and it became annoying, especially if you were trying to have a conversation with other people. Blog Hogs don't like to be ignored, so they found ways to ridicule and alienate anyone who didn't agree with them or play along with them. They would attack others beliefs and feelings, calling them stupid, idiot, ignorant, etc.
Then the others, being tired of having to endure it all, started fighting back.
So, there is your real Mayo Blog history lesson in a nutela nutshell. Take it or leave it.

I really don't get your point. Your reading is as good as my spelling - I didn't say he had wine in the glass. I said he was holding a wine glass - and there was liquid in it. It was to blurry to make out what it was, but traditionally wine does go in wine glasses.

I didn't say he was at a restaurant. I was just pointing out that people serve water in those big balloon glasses too. If I was having people over for a dinner party I would always put out those type of glasses so people can help themselves to the jug of iced water. He looked like he was in someones house a guest.
