There was another blog by a person calling herself loveman she was saying a lot of things about Gerard. This was the first blog if I remember correctly. Mayo started blogging against what Love man was saying about Gerard. And a lot of the things that were being said in Mayo's blogs seemed to fit with what people thought Gerard was like.

From now on, whenever I feel bad or ugly or bad and ugly, I will take a look at that picture, haha!
Also, I wanted to say that beauty isn't only in they eye of the beholder, it is objectively measurable.
We're not only talking about Lorenz' 'Kindchenschema' here but also about synchronicity etc.
So, objectively seen Lindsey is not a beautiful woman. Her face doesn't comply with the requirements of the 'Kindchenschema' (big eyes, small nose, full lips /Jessica Alba would be a perfect example here) and we can also not claim that the halves of her face are synchronic, can we?
People may find her pretty for whatever reasons but the people who don't think so have a right to speak up about it as well!
Also, I think that most of the fan girls claim she's pretty because they want to suck up to Gerard and don't want to piss of their master. They think as a good fan they have to like anything he likes.
They would have also liked Eliza but I think they mostly flamed her because they weren't entirely certain about her being really his girfriend/fiancée.
Honestly now, people! Try to imagine you are a 30-something- year-old man and have to read such bullshit comments about you and your band and the pics you're posting!

I think another reson people though Mayo was Gerard was because the first few posts he did - well, you'd think he was a giant asshole and at that time (and still to this day) Gerard was acting like an asshole.

While some of the people here might have been saying Lindsey isn't beautiful to be mean, I think most of them were just speaking their minds in response to all of the bullshit that gets posted about her on BN and other places.
It's very annoying to see people go on and on with crap like "she's the prettiest girl I've ever seen" or "she is so hot" when you know they're just saying that because of who she married, especially when you don't personally think the girl is even attractive. The asymmetry of her face bugs me, but I never would have pointed it out had I not had to read over and over again about how "gorgeous" she is.

That is the truth 4.39am. I long suspected that anyone aware enough to produce the Mayo blog was never going to be the kind of person who indulges in the type of Sharpie-fume-intoxicated muppetry witnessed on the PR tour!
I was pretty cynical about Mayo per se but back in the beginning the blog was kinda a fun place to hang out, and - playing devil's advocate for a second - whoever "SS" was, they seemed to have their heart in the right place - leaving little puzzles, birthday gifts for people, acknowledging posters who otherwise got shouted over. If he/she was playing us all for a laugh they had a very sweet way of doing it!
Oh, and it was me who once did a long dissertation on the mounting evidence that pointed to Mayo being Jimmy Urine. But only for a laugh...
I think SS is too sweet to be Frank. Frank had people convinced he was a sweetheart for a while, but his antics as of late prove otherwise.

hello! just wanted to let you guys know that we have been working on new music and we are putting it up asap. i am really excited about this, much much in store in the next week so make sure that you check back for more music and pics and such. i have had a lot of fun recording these new songs, i am not really sure what happened with us i think we just all hit a space where we got really creative. i have been actually writting lyrics (this is all so very new for me) oh man oh man what is coming out is the purest pop music of all time from such a grim place. dont get freaked out, it might smell a it more like halloween then christmas around the trouble camp. hahahah i guess old habits die hard. maybe its the weather, maybe its my heart or maybe its the truth. who knows, who really cares? all i know is that it feels dang good. i got down in the dumps the other day and all i wanted to do was sing. i am happy to have found a place where i can go and vent my frustrations with life. i do hope that you guys like it as much as we do.

The last time anybody got a clear shot of Nigel was Comic Con. At the Scream Awards he was nowhere to be seen. But then, Gerard was wearing makeup for his appearance. Either that, or he finally got the poor little bloke zapped. Although, I kinda doubt that.
Thirteen year old girls have no concept either of marriage or the reality of having a baby.
Gerard doesn't look happy in that picture and neither does Lindsey. They are both smiling with their mouths (well, she is kind of) but not their eyes. He looks like he's in a panic and she looks like she's trying to open her eyes as wide as possible to keep them from looking so squinty.

I feel sorry for Gerard. Every single thing about his body language, from the slumped shoulders to the way he rubs at his face and nose and bites his nails just screams insecurity. So does his constant defensiveness.
I don't think he has any real concept of self and if he lies, it's because he thinks he has to invent himself because he's so empty inside.
I also think he's looking to outside things such as a wife, child, etc. to fill up the hole in his life, but unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. You can't be in a healthy relationship unless you've gotten to the point where you can stand on your own.
I showed the picture to an older co-worker (he's in his 60s) who doesn't know who MCR&MSI are and I'm not suprised when his first reaction was "the boy is so feminine and submissive & the girl looks masculine and dominating."
Gerard is a wuss and the whole world can see it.

Aparently, Jared Leto was at that show because I saw tons of papparazzi pics taken of him on ONTD.

I think that's mainly due to Mikey's low self confidence more than anything. Albums one and two he was just learning to play and never moved on stage becaused he was pertified of screwing up. #3 was recorded during his mental breakdown. I think he's getting more comfortable with it now.

About Frank's post, it sounds like he is trying to provoke something with that post, the way he says "she's my little bitch". She being a female dog and therefore the term "bitch" being appropriate, but who really says that? Not really any one. That plus the random mentioning of her vagina - I think it is a bit of a stab at all the people who got pissed about Bob's C**t picture.

I'm thinking that either the record label or Riot Squad Management (Brian, specifically) talked them into their earlier message in order to get teens' parents to buy their records. When TBP didn't sell six million copies in the US and 15 million worldwide (like American Idiot), the band felt cheated and now they're blaming the people who advised them in the beginning.
Whatever the reason, something is definitely up or they wouldn't be going so far out of their way to promote the exact opposite of the old ideals they used to claim.
Somehow I think a lot of what the guys are saying on their website is aimed directly at us and other fans like us.

5.24 I feel the same way. I used to love listen to all their CDs. But I just can't do it anymore. I think about why I started to love that band. Most of the reasons I did love them were lies.

But You and MSi do care what people think about them. Back when all this first happened Steve from msi did and interview with Frank where he said something along the lines of people not liking the band were just jealous of Gerard and Lindsy.

I agree with you, anon @5:41. The thing that made MCR special to me was that they seemed to care about their fans. I liked the music, but they became my favorite band because of the kind of people I thought they were. Now they're just another band made up of a bunch of creeps.

however i don't agree to about JU. part of him may not pander but part of him appears to want some form of mainstream success.
I think that's true, and I think things are more complicated than people realize.
At one time, I think MSI didn't really care what people think and they didn't pander to the mainstream. But then, they started getting older and realized they couldn't keep up their circus act forever. Now they're trying to cash in on whatever success they can so they'll have a nest egg to retire on.
But I don't think GWay realized this when he got involved with them.
Lindsey is like Courtney love . Use the image of the trashy wasted check to get your name out their. Than as soon as that is getting old switch to be a more "glamorous" looking woman. When that doesn't work go full head on into the my brain has been fried by drugs and alcohol trashy whore.

A friend of mine who lives in Chicago dragged me to see MSI when I was visiting him in 2002 and that was the worst show(?) I've ever been to. It was an exercise in cacophony. I wouldn't even call them a band. Just a bunch of noise.

There is a HUGE difference between saying "vagina" and saying c***.
However, I'm also one of those folks who can't even bear to listen to MCR anymore. I deleted them around this time last year, actually, and I don't think I've listened to them since.
The shame of it is that i was really looking forward to Leathermouth, because I was into them, and then they had to go and do that tour with MSI. And sorry, but anyone who supports MSI doesn't get my support.

Honestly, I am offended at Frank's latest blog. I agree with someone who said they're doing this to see reaction from their TEEN fans. It disappoints me to see that they had lowered themselves to that standard- Frank used to be so witty and intelligent with words( have you guys read the free essays he wrote in Rutgers where he talked about anti racist action, food not bombs, boycott nike, etc?) Amazingly complex as in they stole from an amazingly long list of other bands? Queen, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, etc.
I think Gerard's main talent is to take things that have already been done (raging Lincoln Memorial, anyone), combine them in an unusual way and turn that into something people think is new. Clever? Maybe, but eventually you realize that it isn't all that.
TBP became boring to me very, very quickly. And apparently, it did to a lot of other folks as well. MCR fell off the mainstream radar with TBP (in the US, anyway) pretty damn fast. No VMA nominations, no Grammy nominations, hardly any mention in major US rock magazines...hell, they didn't even rate an appearance of TRL's farewell show.

I'd also like to say that I think Frank's use of the word "vagina" was in direct response to Bob's use of the C-word. While I don't find the word vagina offensive, I do not appreciate the use of the other word.
In Frank's case, it wasn't the word he used, but the timing that struck me as odd. If he had respect for those who were offended by Bob's behavior, I think he would have avoided any term referencing female sexual organs on the blog for a bit.

It was a slendid nickname, intil Gerard started back on the drugs and now looks crack-skinny.
Some one was asking last night about MCR and Tabloids. Last night I was watching TMZ and they made a comment about the Cure. they were talking about Robert Smith and how he gained weight ,was losing hair and still tried to work that same old look. No mention of Gerard, Mikey or the wife. I think at least with TMZ Gerard and company are below Pete and Ashley. They get mention even if it is only to say weren't going to cover their wedding.
As far as professional straight men listening to MCR. One of the guys on a pod cast I listen to said he liked their music, he works in the computer department at a university.
I think a lot of acts were ignored at the TRL finally I think they only wanted the ones that were really big. Anyway I don't think MCR want that demographic anymore.
