"Fuck the tsunami. Who cares?"
Actual quote, people.
There's just no "context" in which this can be funny or even acceptable. If this classless idiot was actually famous, she'd be clamoring to make an official apology right away. But I think that people like this have probably never apologized for anything in their lives.

«Oldest ‹Older 2001 – 2200 of 2651 Newer› Newest»The comment was insensitive even though it may have had a point. His death was tragic the circumstances were tragic but there are still his family and friends who are in terrible shock about his loss. You just shouldn't make comments like this. It's so inconsiderate.
Looks like a jackass had more support, influence, and power than a pulitzer prize winning film critic.
Not really. I think what you are seeing is more the shock at how inconsiderate someone could be at a time of tragedy.
Well, I've had people act inconsiderate to me at the time of both my last three tragedies, honestly, and none of those tragedies was in any way anyone's fault. And things were said to me that were not only cruel, but false and twisted.
So, yes, a little consideration for the families is a good thing, and I wouldn't go up to the families and act disrespectful. Because it is not their fault.
But honestly? This guy killed himself, he killed his passenger, and yes, it is his stupid fault.
Kapunua the comments that were made to you at that time were reprehensible. I hope those people reflected on what they said to you, though I kind of doubt it.
But honestly? This guy killed himself, he killed his passenger, and yes, it is his stupid fault.
It's wasn't intentional. It was more a consequence of a very bad decision. But nevertheless, the pain for everyone else is still the same.
But in a way it is intentional. It's like waving a loaded gun at someone. You know the car is a deadly weapon, and, hello, how do you not know that being drunk and going over 100 MPH does not carry with it the threat of death? No one is that stupid or unaware.
To the last anon on the previous page: Thank you. I highly doubt it though; you can see what still goes on here. :/ Though I do very much appreciate what you said. :)
No one is that stupid or unaware.
You are when you're drunk. You cannot think straight.
No need to thank me Kapunua. It was clearly wrong. No one should go through what you did.
Thank you anyway though, 5:09. :D
5:05, but there was a time during the night when every drunk driver knows that it's wrong and does it anyway.
Besides which, I honestly don't think that getting drunk changes who you essentially are. I have been, I promise you, wasted on occasion. Not a single time in my life have I ever thought, "Well, guess I'll drive now."
You know, logically, that driving drunk is illegal for a reason, and that people die when it happens. No one drinks enough that they forget this fact.
Drunk drivers, yeah, I judge those people, sorry. They put everyone at risk of death, and they know it.
I think that depends on your nature. Some people just take more risks than others and are less cautious. They also tend to think what could happen to others won't happen to them. Just look at the nature of the show he was in.
I've never seen the show, but that is true. However, it's also exactly like saying, "Some people are just more prone to put others in danger of being killed." It doesn't excuse it.
It doesn't excuse it but in the end it is his family and friends who are suffering regardless of how wrong his decision was.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWFGzCuUsOM&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Well, that's just what I said. However, he is at fault for making them suffer, and for killing another person and making that person's family suffer, by willfully doing something he knew could kill them both, or could kill another person.
But he's gone now. They can't just blame him. They are reeling from his loss. They have to grieve. When you lose someone close to you in tragic circumstances, especially in what seems their own doing, you still have the same feelings. The anger comes much later.
I always thought Mayo was Jake Raggio.
That makes sense. He's their stage manager so he would know inside things about MCR and he's a musician with his own band. A songwriter.
I agree. I remember something that Mayo said once about 'smaller stages' in the beginning, which made me think of Jake right away.
Besides, Gerard doesn't seem to have a great command of the English language. His writing on blogs seems stilted and forced, whereas Mayo's writing seems to flow. No way Gerard was Mayo.
Then he should be the one that's takes over MCR's songwriting.
No way Gerard was Mayo.
For sure. No one that stupid could be M.
Narcissism anyone?
For sure. No one that stupid could be M
Agree!
Contrary to popular opinion about GW so-called intelligence I think that's just a myth.
Very perplexing how this whole myth originated. I can't think of anything particularly brilliant or insightful that came from his mouth.
Very perplexing how this whole myth originated. I can't think of anything particularly brilliant or insightful that came from his mouth.
IKR? Every time he opens his mouth, stupid shit comes out, whether he's talking about music or comics or the AMAAAAAYZING!wife.
I think maybe fangirls got the idea he was intelligent from reading fanfics.
he's talking about music or comics or the AMAAAAAYZING!wife
Proof of no brain life.
Oh well! He's lucky he knows Jake Raggio. The fangirrls can then stay true believers. ^_^
I'm not telling his family to blame him and I'm not saying they shouldn't grieve. When/where have I said that? I'm saying that he is still to blame.
Oh, I don't know who Jake Raggio is. :) I guess it doesn't matter though, as we will never know. Mayo really can't say who he is. Too many people are obviously too invested in him being a certain person. And I do mean, too invested. It almost seems a responsibility not to let such a fragile thing down.
Which I know is ridiculous, but that's how it seems to me.
Whoever Mayo is, it seems he's tired of the charade. I don't know why the people there keep hanging on. Some folks just don't know when to let go.
If he removed his blog his problem would be solved. He keeps those people there by leaving it there.
I guess so, yeah. It just has a bad vibe all around.
Who's too invested in Mayo being someone he isn't? There are only 3 or 4 people left there and only 1 or 2 of those who would still want him to be GW. I think most posters realized he wasn't GW years ago.
The ones who believed he was posting special messages and poems just for them.
The same ones that keep telling him to delete his blog. They were too invested.
The ones who believed he was posting special messages and poems just for them.
The same ones that keep telling him to delete his blog. They were too invested.
I don't think so. If he's so sick of the charade the blog going shouldn't be so much of a problem. It's not like he posts there anymore. Sometimes you have to force people to move on.
I guess so, yeah. It just has a bad vibe all around.
Exactly. It's just a bad place imo.
The ones who believed he was posting special messages and poems just for them.
Well if I were the blog owner I would want to end the whole misunderstanding and remove the blog. That is if I were a considerate, respectful person. Which someone appears not to be.
The ones who believed he was posting special messages and poems just for them.
The same ones that keep telling him to delete his blog. They were too invested
Doesn't make sense. If you are invested in something you don't want it to finish, they do. I have to agree with them leaving it there after everything that happened between the other bloggers is really callous.
The ones who believed he was posting special messages and poems just for them.
You're just making a lot of assumptions. Most likely untrue.
Who's too invested in Mayo being someone he isn't? There are only 3 or 4 people left there and only 1 or 2 of those who would still want him to be GW. I think most posters realized he wasn't GW years ago.
You're wrong they still think it's him they just deny it. I also think you are one of the invested ones as anyone who wasn't wouldn't care so much about the blogs demise.
Oh, I don't know who Jake Raggio is. :)
Someone with heaps more brain matter than GW :)
Then again...it doesn't take much!
Ha, true!
Anyway, you guys, they just legalized same sex marriage in NY! I know, America is behind most of the world on this. But there is dancing int he streets tonight, let me tell you. And the Empire State Building went rainbow!
What a historical night!
Actually America isn't behind most of the world regarding same sex marriages. Most countries still consider same sex relations a crime.
According to The International Lesbian and Gay Association, 85 countries criminalize consensual same sex acts among adults in 2007. Not all of the countries listed systematically enforce these laws, but the fact remains that they are on the books. More countries outlaw gay male sex than lesbian sex. The countries with an * do not consider female/female sex illegal.
This list was updated on 9/25/09. Eight countries were removed and one Burundi, was added. In 2009, for the first time in history, same-sex relations have been criminalized in Burundi.
http://lesbianlife.about.com/od/lesbianactivism/f/IllegalGaySex.htm
What happened in NY is a small victory in worldwide gay and lesbian rights when so many countries consider it an actual crime to be homosexual.
so the new single Bulletproof heart hasn't been released yet to the best of my knowledge..
It hasnt been released? It was set to be released June 13.
As far as I know it was released in the UK on that date. If it was, it didn't chart. It looks like they couldn't be arsed to even do any B-sides.
Then they better get cracking on their new MSI inspired album.
"so the new single Bulletproof heart hasn't been released yet to the best of my knowledge.."
It was in the UK, advertised on my phones internet.
No one really knows what's going on, there was some kind of mix up with video's and then nothing was said.
I wish people would just ask them what's going on in interviews.
"Yeah but you're not going to hop online and wish your gran didn't exist because she did."
True, my gran is nice.
Was the man in the car drunk too?
Facebook even removed Roger Ebert's facebook page after his snide, insensitive and ill timed tweet "friends don't let jackasses drink and drive". Roger Ebert apologized for his tweet and FB later claimed the page was removed due to an unknown error.
You've got to be fucking kidding me! That better was an unknown error because if they really dare to delete sites of people for stating their opinion, Zuckerberg should just start calling the site Fuck freedom of speech-book. Also, there are a lot of other FB profiles that should have been deleted before they should even consider deleting Ebert's page. What about deleting Chris Brown's FB page who, yet again, couldn't help but had to spout off homophobic language.
Apart from that, Ryan Dunn got into the car drunk and could have killed people. I doubt that anyone would have dared to make a fuss about some postmortal tweet if he had run over a kid.
Zachary Hartwell the 30-year-old passenger killed in Jackass sar Ryan Dunn's sports car, was a former Navy Gunner's Mate who had been on two tours of Iraq, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Tragically, the two friends had been out celebrating clinching a new deal together before Dunn’s powerful Porsche crashed while he was giving Hartwell a ride home.
Dunn and Hartwell had spent Sunday evening at a West Chester bar called Barnaby's of America, where general manager Frank Herron told the Associated Press that at no point did Dunn seem intoxicated.
"He spoke clearly. He walked clearly. He came in hop, skip, jumping. He left hop, skip, jumping," he said. "If these results are true, I'm shocked at it. We were very confident that he had not had that much."
Dunn posted a photo to his Twitter on Sunday night showing him drinking at the bar with Hartwell and another friend. Herron reportedly reached out to authorities after he heard news of the crash and has been cooperating in the investigation into Dunn's death.
Delete your facebook pages now to protest!
"
After a controversial tweet about the death of Ryan Dunn, Roger Ebert, movie critic and Twitter celebrity, found his Facebook page removed for violating Facebook’s “terms of use.”
Facebook spokesman Andrew Noyes later said, “The page was was removed in error. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Ebert is well known for voicing his opinions on his blog, Twitter stream and Facebook page. But, after Jackass star Ryan Dunn died Monday in a car crash, one of those opinions sparked outrage.
Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive.
Dunn had reportedly been drinking prior to the crash, though the police have only cited speed as the cause in the accident. While Dunn’s friends responded angrily over Ebert’s comments, others took to Ebert’s Facebook page to criticize the critic
“I don’t care who you think you are but don’t make fun of someone's sudden/tragic death!” was one of the more publishable comments on his page.
Then, the Facebook page disappeared all together. Facebook initially said the page had been violating the terms of use. “Among other things, Pages that are hateful, threatening or obscene are not allowed,” the take-down notice read.
Ebert wrote on Twitter, “Facebook! My page is harmless and an asset to you. Why did you remove it in response to anonymous jerks? Makes you look bad.”
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/blogpost/post/roger-eberts-facebook-page-removed-in-error-after-ryan-dunn-comments-spark-online-outrage/2011/06/21/AGByJMeH_blog.html
I think it's absurd that the page was removed due to his comments. After all, he was only voicing his opinion-and the truth.
Pages that are hateful,
Don't blogger, livejournal and tumblr all have that same term of use?
He voiced his opinion about the death of a beloved celebrity in a hurtful way before the facts were known. He should have waited for the facts to come out and he needn't have used the word jackasses. Snark fail.
Does it matter that his facebook page was removed, seeing as how it was only temporary?
Maybe Ebert learned his lesson. To keep his hateful comments to himself when people are suffering and reeling from recent losses. To think about other people's pain before he tweets.
His comments were not hateful they were insensitive and ill-timed.
I'm saying that he is still to blame
And I am saying that regardless if he was responsible you still cannot make insensitive comments when so many people are grieving his loss. Sometimes you have to bite your tongue out of respect for others.
At least he had the guts to apologize unlike some other people...
But don't they call themselves "Jackasses?" Isn't that the name of their movie or TV show or something?
They do, but snark is not appropriate at the time of the loss of human life.
^THIS
Jackass was the name of one of their tv shows and movies. There were more.
"They do, but snark is not appropriate at the time of the loss of human life."
Unless you're at Mayo's and you really hate that one bitch. Then, go for it.
I find it hard to believe that anyone there called someone else's deceased family member a jackass less than 24 hours after their death. Or said that the person deserved to die or killed themselves by making bad decisions.
I think that's a complete fabrication of facts.
How did this become a discussion about Mayo's? I thought we were talking about Ryan Dunn's tragic death and Roger Ebert's insensitive comment and the fallout from his comment.
Unless you're at Mayo's and you really hate that one bitch. Then, go for it
I think that I already mentioned that I thought those comments where reprehensible. You can't help that some people can be blinded by their own anger and stupidity at times. Leave it at that.
I'm begining to think that Bulletproof must have been a UK only release. Cause it didn't show up as a single on Itunes for me
Not meaning to sound rude, but I don't think anyone here really cares hocking.
"I find it hard to believe that anyone there called someone else's deceased family member a jackass less than 24 hours after their death. Or said that the person deserved to die or killed themselves by making bad decisions.
"
No one actually said that anyone said that, did they? You said that snark was inappropriate. I was around for right after Kap's grandmother died and the things that got said to her and it went beyond "snark" and made me feel really depressed about humanity in general.
I don't know what happened to Bulletproof Heart. Is the video even showing on MTV's site?
I can't find anything about Bulletproof. The latest news I've found is that Na Na Na and Destroya were featured on the MTV show Teen Wolf.
I think a lot of people don't have much sympathy for Ryan Dunn because he was drunk and speeding when he crashed. I personally don't think it's a tragedy, I think he made a bad choice and paid the ultimate price for it.
I guess that his tweet could have something to do with him being a cancer survivor.
I bet that if you survive such a gruesome disease you value life a lot more than many other people do.
I could think that he was just pissed that someone who was totally healthy put his life at risk and lost it as a result only because he made a wrong decision.
The Jackass bunch always gave me the feeling that they thought they were invincible. That trait might be cute when you're a teenager, but when you're in your thirties or even fourties you come off as quite pathetic and juvenile.
I do think it was insensitive of him to tweet what he did. There are ways of making your point without coming across as spiteful. Ebert has said some really dumb things before on twitter (for example during the Huck Finn censorship wank), but at least he calms down, recognises that he's said something offensive or insensitive, and then apologises. That much can't be said for a certain tsunami-mocking idiot we're all familiar with.
Hmm, I kinda agree with everyone. Siobhan, I agree, and also 6:47.
Ebert was right in what he said, but shouldn't have said it where a grieving family could have read it.
However I don't know what "Bulletproof" is and can only assume it's a crappy song that I don't care about.
I remember Ryan from Viva La Bam, and I also remember thinking that Bam Margera needed a good ass whooping. I'm surprised he has managed to live this long.
As for the rest of the Jackass crew, Johnny Knoxville has pretty much destroyed his body with his dumb stunts. Sure, those guys got rich and famous, but at what cost.
Still, I agree that Roger Ebert's tweet was stupid and insensitive. But, like others have said, he apologized, which was gracious of him. Now I think it's time to forget what he said and move on.
Most people are thinking what he said anyway.
I'm always relieved when a drunk driver kills only him/herself in a (totally predictable) crash. And always so angry when they take someone else with them.
"My fans seem to get younger and younger. So it’s very important for me to speak to a child differently than I would speak to an adult. And when all a child can hear is your music and see the way you dress, that’s the only thing you can really use to kind of steer [him or her] in the right direction. So I toned it down a bit. The music will always remain authentic. So taking out a few curse words every now and then doesn’t make you less credible of a rapper."
- Nicki Minaj to Ebony Magazine
Gerard could learn a thing or two from her.
Wow, a lot of people could learn a thing or two from her. At last, someone with sense in the rap industry.
I'm never relieved when someone dies in such a manner, but it does make me angry and I always hope people will learn, but they never do, do they?

Say what? What? WTF?
If Lynz, Gerard Way or Frank Iero had said that they would be torn to shreds on this blog.
Lynz's tsunami quote isn't close to that callous and disgusting.
Somebody needs to blog about that comment.
Don't forget to post a link to this blog so they can read the comment in context for themselves and see how vile it really is.
FaNGIRL GO WORSHIP YOUR IDOLS! tHEY DO NOT READ THIS BLOG!
Oh, please. It's only the truth. When someone is that willfully stupid, you can only be thankful that they didn't take anyone with them. Except in this case, he did. He made the choice to get behind the wheel, and he knowingly put everyone he came into contact with in danger of being killed. It was his fault. And he lost his life for it.
The tsunami was no one's fault, killed thousands of people, and devastated an entire nation.
Your reaction is typical of a ridiculous fangirl: Utterly lacking in perspective, and caring only about one thing: your rock star idol.
No one forced the other guy to get into the car with Ryan though. He knew how much Ryan had to drink. He was fully aware of the situation
"No one forced the other guy to get into the car with Ryan though. He knew how much Ryan had to drink. He was fully aware of the situation"
That's what I was thinking, you don't go into a car which a drunk man is driving, unless you are also drunk or don't really give a damn.
No one forced the other guy to get into the car with Ryan though. He knew how much Ryan had to drink. He was fully aware of the situation
THIS. They both made bad decisions. They were both victims of those bad decisions. No one deserved to die. It's heartless to think that either of them deserved a death sentence.
I think Ebert's reaction was due more to the fact that he's is a recovering alcoholic than it was due to fact that he's a cancer survivor. I don't know if that makes his comments better or worse since he probably got behind the wheel of a car when he was less than sober.
Did he deserve to die too? Should he be dead now because of mistakes he made when he was in his 20s and 30s?
I think it makes his friends don't let jackasses drink and drive tweet worse given his own words about his inability to make good decisions when he was drinking.
http://blogs.suntimes.com/ebert/2009/08/my_name_is_roger_and_im_an_alc.html
The problem with using will power, for me, was that it lasted only until my will persuaded me I could take another drink.
The problem with making resolutions is that you're sober when you make the first one, have had a drink when you make the second one, and so on. I've also heard, You take the first drink. The second drink takes itself. That was my problem. I found it difficult, once I started, to stop after one or two.

That's what I was thinking, you don't go into a car which a drunk man is driving, unless you are also drunk or don't really give a damn
Some people think they aren't that drunk and think they can still drive and can't foresee any problems. That's what drinking does to a person: it dulls their cognition so they cannot judge circumstances correctly. It also lowers your inhibitions so you could make choices you otherwise wouldn't when sober. I don't think that either of them would have thought they would be involved in a fatal accident when they drove off unfortunately.
Who said anything about them "deserving" a death sentence? It's not about what people deserve. However, it is to be expected, and I'm always glad when they don't kill someone who wasn't involved. Except, quite often, they do.
thing is, ryan dunn could have killed someone other than the passenger in his car; he could have killed an innocent child. luckily, his crash didn't involve another car or a pedestrian or bicycle.
Exactly. When you make that decision, you put everyone at risk of death who crosses your path that day/night.
Whoever Mayo is, it seems he's tired of the charade. I don't know why the people there keep hanging on. Some folks just don't know when to let go
Whoever Mayo is, he has shown himself to be a cruel deceptive uncaring bastard.
Whoever Mayo is, he has shown himself to be a cruel deceptive uncaring bastard.
tell me, what's mayo been up to now?
I was just reading about the BET awards and that made me think of the MTV awards this year.
Does anyone of you think that MCR will perform at the MTV awards or that they will even be nominated for an award?
my prediction of winnings at 2011 MTV vma's
best vid lady gaga
best female singer beyonce
best song adele r.i.t.d
best female rapper nicki minaj
best male rapper drake
best male singer Bruno mars
best band maybe incubus since they are making a (comeback)
PS I'm not really into any of these artists, but this is kind of the obvious list. I've seen this so many times... played out in the past few months of award shows so... yeah
i agree with all of those except Incubus... but then again i don't know who all are nominated in the band area
Did they already announce the nominations for the respective categories?
LOL remember when all the fans thought that MCR would be the 'suprise' guest on the MTV awards last year? Everyone was tweeting Gerard about and in the end he had to reply on the night and say they weren't, but 'maybe next year'. Then when watching the awards he went crazy on twitter and called a teenage girl a cunt for absolutely no reason.
Then when watching the awards he went crazy on twitter and called a teenage girl a cunt for absolutely no reason.
Was that with his Panty Poison account? I thought he called the girl the c-word for allegedly revealing the album title?
What an embarrassment if they won't be nominated or even perform.
It was from the Party Poison account but he went nuts on her for no reason at all. He was tweeting all night 'in character' about killing Jennifer Aniston and using her corpse as fuel for his biosuit and loads of other gross random shit, and then he tweeted something about being dead or spinning in his grave or whatever. This fan responded with something like 'well you're not dead, yet', and he answered her with "You're a cunt. Bad". He then deleted the tweet about 6 hours later. It was totally unprovoked. Due to the rambling tweets and way he used dashes to punctuate, everyone knew it was Gerard before he was ~revealed as Party Poison. Plus that night, Chantal had tweeted about her and Jimmy having a MTV awards viewing party with 'The Ways'. My guess? He got drunk/high/mad and was showing off infront of his 'edgy' friends in MSI. Gerard's a tough guy who is so cool for calling teenage girls cunts for no reason, see.
What an asshole! Not that revealing the album title would have justified calling her that word.
I read those tweets about Jennifer Aniston and all those other things and thought to myself 'God, what idiot writes like that?' Seriously, if he wasn't drunk or high while writing this shit he showed how braindead he really is.
Or how bitter he was that they hadn't been invited on the awards to perform because they're not important/relevant enough to secure such a spot for their 'comeback'. But I suspect he was drunk and showing off to his 'friends'.
What a loser that creature is. I can't believe I used to love that band. *shivers*
Makes me wonder what he really feels when he sees Jared Leto and his band at MTV award shows all over the world all the time.
The MTV Music Awards (USA) is on 28th August in LA. However MCR are in France doing some festival or other that night. The European MTV Awards is on Nov 6th In Belfast, Northern Ireland. They have more chance of being asked to do something in Europe, much more likely than in USA.
I don't think they will be asked to do anything at the EMA's. They have charted so poorly, if at all, in the UK. Even though they do have their fanbase, they are way less mainstream than they were with The Black Parade. Their attempt to tap into the more pop/dance market in order to sell more records has failed miserably.
You're assuming stuff, Prove that the awards was the cause, maybe he just felt like it,
Who was the person he called a "cunt"
Ask her what she said.
Nikki Minaj and Adele are the current it girls. Adele will probably win a VMA or two.
Nicki Minaj and Drake will definitely win. Lil Wayne knows how to pick and groom them.
Young Money entertainment + Cash Money records = rolling in gold and platinum
Even Lil Wayne's debut rock album went gold even after being slammed by critics, hip hop and rap fans.
You're assuming stuff, Prove that the awards was the cause, maybe he just felt like it,
Who was the person he called a "cunt"
Ask her what she said.
You would make excuses for him for anything. Many of us saw that tweet before he deleted it and if he didn't consider it inappropriate why did he delete it?
OMG he broke one of the commandments. He committed a deadly sin. He called a poor innocent little girl a c#nt. Unforgivable. Hang him and talk about for years.
Seriously, if he wasn't drunk or high while writing this shit he showed how braindead he really is
Do you ever think before the MSI merge they must have had someone from their management team write up what they needed to say in their interviews and they had to memorize it?
3:35 you go around calling a little girl a c***. See how that works for you.
Hope you don't have any female relatives or children. How would that make you feel? Or you wouldn't care?
Imagine what would be said about him if he had said that he was relieved someone killed only him/herself and it was their own stupid fault. Calling someone a c*nt is so much worse than that.
"But honestly? This guy killed himself, he killed his passenger, and yes, it is his stupid fault.
June 24, 2011 4:42 PM
Such compassion.
Your hatred of a person because she talks some sense and she loathes a person you idolize is so transparent it's embarrassing.
She had a point: he did put others in a position of danger and the outcome could have been much worse. You stupidly ignore that.
So is yours. You'll excuse anything she says no matter how insensitive and vile because you like her. Just like you accuse MCR fangirls of doing when defending the band.
And it didn't mean that she lacked compassion. She was saying he acted totally irresponsibly and didn't want others to pay the price for his for his irresponsibility.
^^THAT
What 3:53 said.
You can't handle the truth 3:53 then you trash others and distort what they say.
The biggest hypocrites in the world never recognize their own hypocrisy.
Funny how the biggest hypocrite doesn't recognize their own hypocrisy. But they will do and say anything to protect their rockstar idols. Morons.
How did 3:53 distort anything? That was a direct quote in context. You're the ones who distort facts and post quotes out of context.
Immature stupid idiots too.
You're a dumbass. There is no point arguing with one-eyed fangirls.
But they will do and say anything to protect their blog idols. Morons.
And when they can't claim the moral highground because they know what one of their own blog friends said is worse than anything the rock idols they hate said they resort to namecalling.
Blog idols. Ha! Fangirl your idols don't read this blog. They don't care about anyone but themselves.
As long as they don't call any of the MCR fangirls a c**t their namecalling is ok. /sarcasm
Oh did that upset you? Being called stupid? I didn't call you a c? Because that's fine, isn't it? *shakes head*
Hello 4:05? Anybody in there? Moron.
Oh, I must be a moron! Just like YOU!
If GW called them a moron then they would call themselves morjoys
These feminists will never admit to the ways they try to mentally and emotionally abuse other people. The way they try to beat other people down.
They might want to read up more on mental and emotional abuse. Learn about how so many women where beaten down by their partners by being called stupid, idiot, moron, worthless, dumbass. How the mental abuse was worse than the physical abuse for them. How they display the same behaviour of the people they say that they're appalled by.
Read Robin Givens book or Rihanna's statements.
Ergoproxy don't be too obvious.
Yes do read that 4:17 and tell me how your rockstar idols calling you people c's his wife's band with far worse lyrics would be any different.
Because they are rockstars they can do and say anything and people will defend them.
So when your idols call you a c why don't you tell them that 4:17?
The constant criticism and intellectual insults. The chipping away at self esteem. Trying to break them down and make them feel like less of a person. Less than you.
Silence is not an option.

People from Mayo's are such hypocrites. They come here specifically to attack a person then play the victims. Pathetic.
Stop attacking Kapunua and speak to to us as an adult would, not like a wound up child.
Look at the video yourselves then stop coming here to attack K.
Abusive personalites
3. Superiority – He or she is always right, has to win or be in charge. He or she always justifies their actions so they can be “right” by blaming you or others.
A verbally abusive person will talk down to you or call you names in order to make themselves feel better.
The goal of an abusive person is to make you feel weak so they can feel powerful. Abusers are frequently insecure and this power makes them feel better about themselves.
4. Manipulates – Tells you you’re crazy or stupid so the blame is turned on you.
Tries to make you think that it’s your fault he or she is abusive.
Most of these VV regs got that 3 and 4 down.
Excuse me? Aren't you on this blog attacking a person because they don't like a rockstar you like. You nitpick anything she says. Talk about manipulation and abuse. That is exactly what you are doing.
They must be so proud. They do it all without ever resorting to using the c word.
From where I'm sitting you are the one following her around the internet abusing her.
I think the only thing they're attacking is the hypocrisy of this blog. She's just the best and most vocal example of that hypocrisy. You run a close 2nd.
You must be so proud of yourself hating someone so much 4:54.
So it's okay to attack the hypocrisy? of this blog, as long as it diverts from the hypocrisy of their rockstar idols. Got it.
How does reading this blog and commenting on the hypocrisy of the comments here equal following anyone around the internet? I don't follow her. I don't follow you. I'm commenting on what was posted here. If any of you post more of your hypocrisy somewhere else I'm not interested in that. What's posted here is more than enough.
Liar.
If anyone is a hypocrite it's you. Because hypocrites would not turn a blind eye to the same things being said elsewhere. As you said you would. So it's clear you are here just to attack a particular person and constantly pick on everything she says even though others may say the same thing.
^someone who isn't a hypocrite
Imagine what would be said about him if he had said that he was relieved someone killed only him/herself
Are you serious? Would it be better if Ryan Dunn would've killed a family or a teenager when he wrecked while driving drunk?
I don't have compassion for drunk drivers. They make the choice to get in the car and potentially kill any innocent person unlucky to be sharing the road with them. I have compassion for the 10,000+ people they kill every year who didn't have a choice.
Besides, you're probably just pre-emptively defensive for when someone in MCRMSI gets their DWI.
On an average, there are more than 6 million car accidents on the roads of the US, annually.
More than 3 million people get injured due to car accidents, with more than 2 million of these injuries being permanent.
There are in excess of 40,000 deaths due to car accidents every year. Although this is a very high number by itself, some heart can be taken in the fact that statistics show that car accident fatalities have been witnessing a downward trend in recent years.
The majority of car accidents could be avoided if only the drivers would drive more responsibly.
About 40% of car accident fatalities occur because of a drunken driver.
About 30% of the car accident fatalities can be attributed to driving above the speed limits and 33% and above because of reckless driving that causes the car to go off the road and result in an accident.
http://www.lawcore.com/car-accident/statistics.html
Many car accidents are caused by people talking to other passengers while driving,
and others due to drivers playing with the radio while driving.
A large percentage is because of eating or drinking while driving,
and 25% of car accidents are caused due to talking on the mobile phone while at the wheel of the car.
These car accident statistics are sad enough on their own, the saddest part being that they could have easily been avoided had drivers been paying more attention to driving and less to other activities.
None of you ever did any of those things while driving?
If you did then you were risking the lives of other people unlucky enough to share the road with you.
By your standards no one should feel compassion for you if you're in a fatal accident. It would be your fault and you could kill an innocent person with your carelessness.
It's called distracted driving and should be as illegal as drunk driving if we're
being fair.
What Is Distracted Driving?
There are three main types of distraction:
Visual — taking your eyes off the road
Manual — taking your hands off the wheel
Cognitive — taking your mind off what you’re doing
Distracted driving is any non-driving activity a person engages in that has the potential to distract him or her from the primary task of driving and increase the risk of crashing.
While all distractions can endanger drivers’ safety, texting is the most alarming because it involves all three types of distraction.
Other distracting activities include:
Using a cell phone
Eating and drinking
Talking to passengers
Grooming
Reading, including maps
Using a PDA or navigation system
Watching a video
Changing the radio station, CD, or Mp3 player.
Did You Know?
Research on distracted driving reveals some surprising facts:
20 percent of injury crashes in 2009 involved reports of distracted driving. (NHTSA).
Of those killed in distracted-driving-related crashed, 995 involved reports of a cell phone as a distraction (18% of fatalities in distraction-related crashes). (NHTSA)
In 2009, 5,474 people were killed in U.S. roadways and an estimated additional 448,000 were injured in motor vehicle crashes that were reported to have involved distracted driving. (FARS and GES)
The age group with the greatest proportion of distracted drivers was the under-20 age group – 16 percent of all drivers younger than 20 involved in fatal crashes were reported to have been distracted while driving. (NHTSA)
Drivers who use hand-held devices are four times as likely to get into crashes serious enough to injure themselves. (Source: Insurance Institute for Highway Safety)
Using a cell phone use while driving, whether it’s hand-held or hands-free, delays a driver's reactions as much as having a blood alcohol concentration at the legal limit of .08 percent. (Source: University of Utah)

For emphasis.
Wow. SOMEone here really likes drunk drivers.
I always have a gut feeling that Wendy hangs around her commenting a lot. I can see her getting defensive over drunk drivers personally. She probably has some DiWis under her own belt.
Those statistics all make it OK to drive under the influence.
Those statistics are statistics. They make nothing ok. Those are the facts.
Those statistics all make it OK to drive under the influence
Really? I thought it was a criminal offense to drive under the influence of alcohol.
"You would make excuses for him for anything. Many of us saw that tweet before he deleted it and if he didn't consider it inappropriate why did he delete it?"
Has anyone thought to print screen it?
Someone said on here that even if it's in the public eye on twitter its no one else's business. They used that as an excuse for what they said. If we go by this rule then whatever he calls people is no one else's business. Even if it is the word cunt.
But would someone give me a print screen?
I read that the person called a cunt took it in good humour, but I'd like some evidence before I go making a solid opinion.
If you're driving without paying attention then you're just as bad as a drunk driver.
Some[not all] MCR fangirls are so biased and ignorant and it's usually the older, thirty something ones that are worse imo.
If you're driving without paying attention then you're just as bad as a drunk driver
Drunk driving is a criminal offense You may be at fault in an accident depending on the level of inattention and type of accident then fined accordingly, but it's still not considered a criminal offense unless the inattention was drug related.
Not forgetting that people suffer strokes and heart attacks at the wheel too.
Someone said on here that even if it's in the public eye on twitter its no one else's business. They used that as an excuse for what they said. If we go by this rule then whatever he calls people is no one else's business. Even if it is the word cunt.
Then by your reasoning what is said here is not your business and you should go off on your merry way.
Kap stop brainwashing people! You know they can't think for themselves. ^_^
I read that the person called a cunt took it in good humour, but I'd like some evidence before I go making a solid opinion.
Of course the girl took in good humor, the man she idolizes spoke to her. I don't think she would have cared what he said to her.
WTF is a DiWi?
I was wondering the same thing and wtf is 2:55 talking about? Such an uniformed and ignorant comment.
"many jurisdictions have made it illegal to use your cell phone while driving. In some cases you can still use hands-free devices.
Ignorance of the law is no defence,"
http://mobileoffice.about.com/cs/traveladvice/qt/usingcellphone.htm
Has anyone thought to print screen it?
Someone mentioned the tweet on this post
http://newageamazon.buzznet.com/user/journal/7965831/dear-gerard-way-dont-care/
If it is proven that the use of a cell phone was cause for an accident, speeding or other vehicle infraction - you will be charged.
They better not be stupid enough to drive around in the UK committing a criminal offense and getting themselves or some kids killed.
I was wondering the same thing and wtf is 2:55 talking about? Such an uniformed and ignorant comment.
What is ignorant? That drunk driving is a criminal offense?
Where does it say is a criminal offense? It's an offense where you are fined.
^Use of a cell phone
Duh.
Illegal usually means criminal. Look it up in your thesaurus.
Duh No. If you know anything about how the law works it doesn't. Two different torts. Look it up.
"Someone mentioned the tweet on this post

Thanks, It doesn't have the original post though...Kind of annoying,
Thank you anyway!
"Of course the girl took in good humor, the man she idolizes spoke to her. I don't think she would have cared what he said to her."
But that's her choice right? Maybe she got the joke (If it was one, I don't know)
"Drunk driving is a criminal offense You may be at fault in an accident depending on the level of inattention and type of accident then fined accordingly, but it's still not considered a criminal offense unless the inattention was drug related."
But it all comes to the same conclusion, an unfair, untimely death. Though I guess it would be hard to police people not paying attention whilst driving.
"Then by your reasoning what is said here is not your business and you should go off on your merry way."
Yeah, but then if you say this to me and think I should take this advice, then by all means so should you. The problem is that it works both ways.
Main Entry: illegal
Part of Speech: adjective
Definition: against the law
Synonyms: actionable, banned, black-market, bootleg, contraband, criminal,
Did someone you know get into an accident while using a cell phone? Did they cause injury to themself or another person because they were distracted driving? Is that why you're trying to make one illegal act seem worse than the other or is it because you use your cell phone while driving?
But that's her choice right? Maybe she got the joke (If it was one, I don't know)
Isn't that always the standard excuse? It was a joke, lighten up Or this one They're just human like you or me so don't expect them to be perfect blah blah...
"Isn't that always the standard excuse? It was a joke, lighten up Or this one They're just human like you or me so don't expect them to be perfect blah blah..."
Along with the other "excuses" I think it makes sense. Honestly though, I'm not going to start disliking him as a stranger from a distant country until I see what the 16 year old sent him.
"While I agree that what he said and how he handled the situation was wrong, I think it's pretty extreme to suddenly label him as some sort of cruel, woman hating misogynist"
I copied that quote from the article that was given me, that's kind of what I'm thinking right now.
