It's really hard to define this blog sometimes. My investment in MCR is over and has been over for years now. But I like the people on this blog and I like that there is a place for you to come and vent about anything. There is not much to report on a band no one really holds an interest in any more. But some people are just realizing the disappointment.
And for the people who have been here since the beginning, it is still a good place to laugh at people who let you down and turned into, well kind of like the end of "The Wall." The best thing to do is keep laughing.
Another thing I like is all the feminist links, thoughts, rants etc that go on here. Fighting against misogyny is empowering... isn't it?
I guess what I'm saying is this blog has evolved and is not restricted to talking about a washed up bunch of confused, testosterone driven man-children and we can discuss anything we want. Have a link on feminism or civil rights, or just want to rant.... Feel free!

MCR means very little to me. They're a band I once liked and this blog is an occasional distraction for me. When I hear about the latest stupidity that Gerard and Co. have come out with, I comment on it. The rest of the time I'm working, raising my children, going to shows or movies or reading a book. In other words: I'm living my life.
Who are you that you think that you know how people spend their time? You're the only person I see here who seems to be obsessed enough with MCR to spend that kind of time on them.

I have to say that I agree with him completely. I hate going to shows where some idiot girl is standing next to you in the mosh pit holding up her video camera so she can post the thing on lj to prove she was there. That used to happen at every single MCR concert I went to. God forbid I had to stand anywhere but right at the barrier or I couldn't see for all the video cameras being held in the air.
I go to shows for the music, not so I can show all my little emo friends I was there. MCR shows were the absolute worst for that.
While I agree that the latter part of Jack White's statment was about people living through the internet instead of interacting with real human beings, I think the first part of the comment was more directed towards people who criticize him and distort his comments in blogs and boards on the web.

I don't see how or when we are going to have to "accept" Lindsey's talent, etc., when MSI seems to have gone away completely. They don't seem to be anywhere close to making a new record or going out on tour. eh, i don't think i'm going to come here from now on. I don't really get the point of this blog anymore, and some of the statements people make here are very hypocrtiical. I also find it a bit sad and creepy that you all hate MCR and lynz and whoever else, but you all follow their lives so closely. I'm not an MCR fan anymore, but i've never followed them obsessively. I also don't like how sometimes people here are so judgemental of MCR and the people they associate with, when you don't even know them and have never even met them. People also take things that MCR say too seriously and dissect it too much, just because someone rights something on twitter or says something a bit silly in an interview doesn't mean it's the gospel. You don't have to get so angry over something so pointless and irrelevant to your life, why would you let yourself get so annoyed about something like that? There are much worse things in the world, i'd really hate to see how some of you react when something serious actually happens.

Harley, I think a better question to ask would be how you would react if 'something really serious happened'. How would you feel if Frank took his nasty misogynistic sense of humor one step further and actually assaulted a woman? I bet you'd be on here defending him until the end. That's what's fucked up about it. Frank thinks he can get away with being racist and sexist, and fangirls like you validate his behavior by saying things like, well, pretty much any chapter from 'Derailing for Dummies'. Once again, it's not the duty of the offended party to 'leave the offender be'. And it's not yours to tell us we shouldn't be offended.

11:53, go right ahead and be offended. Much of what Iero has said has been very offensive, which is probably his purpose in saying it. But everyone seems to forget the most common thread between every opinion here, other fan sites, etc. is: assumption. It's really pointless to get mad at someone for assuming this band is one way, then get even or try to prove a point at that fan, by assuming something further back at them. You all realize this is just useless, righ? Speculation is publicity. It may not be pretty, but it gets the job done. Reguardless of how spiteful (or honest) much of what gets said here is, it's probably more amusing to the band and those connected to them, than anything. Just throwing that out there. No need to jump on little girls trying to defend their "reluctant hero's." Summer's out, just enjoy the conversation for what it is.

We come here and talk about various things, somethings things get heated, most of the time we have a laugh, and then you come here and tell us that we're out to prove our "assumptions" about the band. Well I always thought that we were expressing our opinions, good or bad. Then we have people diving in here to tell us to move on, or tells us it's pointless to express an opinion because the band doesn't care, just you did in your comment. I for one never assumed they did care, but it's nice to know, thanks to you that we're being noticed and we can put a smile on their face, just as those numbskulls do for us time and time again.

He's dropping lots of hints: hair color changes, spider paintings.
For a band that has completed a new record they are being unusually quiet about it. If the rumors are true and there's a new Way baby coming, together with the new Iero twins I doubt there's going to be any touring apart from small clubs or festivals. Certainly not a big ongoing tour that their fans are thinking of.
I don't think she looks "fat" in that photo and i don't see how changing hair colors or spiders have anything to do with being pregnant. I do think the band is being quiet about the new album. They said it is finished without any word to who the drummer is.I don't think they are going to have a big tour with this album.I think they said they were going to play in fesivals and smaller clubs.
