Gerard shows us how real men mark their territory.
I was going to say "he has no respect for her and she has no respect for herself" but instead I thought if you want to keep it funny.... Since this place is for you all and is about venting and laughing... Why don't you all caption it if you want?
Feel free to come here and vent, and laugh at stupidity. And the hypocrisy of them still calling themselves "feminists" and the mindless fangirls tho agree with them.

«Oldest ‹Older 4401 – 4600 of 4785 Newer› Newest»This place is pretty dead, huh?
Frank wasn't the only one who didn't tweet her Happy Birthday. Gerard didn't either. If you look at Frances' twitter then you can see she's always trying to talk to him and he just ignores her. He still not even following her. It's really quite sad that she'll put being treated like that by her "friend".
Ray and Frank aren't following her either. Not that I thought they would. I think if Bob were still on twitter neither would he.
So it would seem she's barely tolerated by the band as a whole.
The loverlies were off having their little party, of course it was dead. There was nobody around to spam.
Wrong blog. Loverlies are only at Mayo's.
I know that, you think they don't come spam here? Lol.
Nah 1:24. They love G Way & MCR so a kinda doubt it.
@sonic he was moving like 60 year old.
Must have been all the rough loveplay with Linds before they took off for Japan. Or maybe he's really just an old coot at heart.

Maybe he's sending her DMs and no public tweets. The same with Frank
Franklero@Gofackadawg oh damn F to the bean happy birfday my dear. Xo
So Frank is kissing up to rock royalty too. Is anyone truly surprised? I know I'm not.
Of course, Gerard can't be arsed to wish anyone a happy birthday unless he wants something from them. He probably figures they've milked the F.Bean connection dry by now and it didn't help them in Tokyo now did it?
Too bad he can't drop names like Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, U2, Justin Timberlake, Zac Effron and the entire cast of Twilight like a certain band who is filling stadiums around the world right now. I think it helps more to have fans who are actual music legends and/or truly famous (not just e-famous) people. Not that this band is dropping names; it's more like these famous people are dropping theirs.
MCR's friends and fans are really only known to a select few people and many only because of their connection to the band. And F. Bean is only famous because of her dead father and washed up mother. Irrelevant much?
From the bean:
Wait, EVERYONE didn't know that me and Mwizzle are actually related by BLOOD! we are both the love children of Mr FEENY....zing
Oh, Gerard must be SO fucking proud she's claiming blood ties to Mikey...and not him.
And Frank posted a picture of a lizzard. Shit, he must be SS!!!!111!!!ohmygodzzzz. Lmao, you know that shit's gonna start.
Why do people who insist that Frank is SS have such a chip on your shoulder? People who are there from the beginning know it's him.
Just because you don't agree doesn't mean you have to call us crazy, bitches, or any of the other names.
The ones who deny it most, that Frank is SS, are Elena and the OPs trying to protect what is "theirs". Are you them?
Oh, God.
Why is it so important for you "people who have been there since the beginning" to believe that SS is Frank?
Like it or not, you do come off as crazy. "WE'VE BEEN THERE SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME! WE'VE SEEN EVERY SINGLE COMMENT! EVERY SINGLE CLUE! WE'VE BEEN COMPARING AND CROSS-REFERENCING THEM TO S//C'S WEBSITE AND MONITORING EVERYTHING THE BAND DOES ONSTAGE SO WE KNOW THAT FRANK IS SS!"
I mean, come on. If you have that much time on your hands, then I kind of feel bad for you. You must have very little else going on.
You remind me of the Area 51 people. And quite frankly, I have more respect for people who believe that an alien ship crashed in the Nevada desert because at least that would be exciting if it were true.
Some semi-famous asshole pissant from a minimally talented, mostly irrelevant band making a SOOPER SEKRUT blog? Not really all that interesting and certainly not worth all your effort.
Oh God! I'm getting so fucking annoyed having to read about this stupid motherfucker here too.
That stupid asshat and the incredibly embarrassing and pathetic asskissing of the people over at Mayo's were one of the reason I left.
Why do I have to read about this fucking crap here too?
And for the record: Shitsubou Shita is NOT Frank!!!!
Sorry if this is a stupid question 4:28, but what band are you talking about?
So dsiappointed in Frank, I thought he'd have better taste in friends and would never kiss "rock royalty" ass like the Way family.
I bet that many teen fan sheep are busy torturing their Frances Bean look-a-like voodoo dolls since Serial-Killer-Face called her 'little sis'.
Take that, stupid cow! *needles in the eyes and in the ears*
I'm not 4:28 Laura, but I think that anon was talking about Kings of Leon. They seem to be everywhere right now.
From reading frank's tweet to frances it sounds like he forgot her birthday and probably caught shit from Mikey for not tweeting her.
I'm not 4:28 Laura, but I think that anon was talking about Kings of Leon. They seem to be everywhere right now.
Everywhere but Buzznet thank God. I don't think the braindead teenies have caught on to them yet, but the fact that the entire cast of Twilight went to see them in Vancouver and the Zac and Vanessa went to their last two shows and were videotaped "rocking out" (lol) to them might change that. I hope the BN crowd stays away from them though.
You can also add Elvis Costello, Chrissie Hynde, The Strokes, Malcolm and Angus Young (from AD/DC), Drew Barrymore, Josh Hartnett, Orlando Bloom, Liv Tyler, Cameron Diaz and Natalie Imbruglia (although I'm not sure she's still famous) to their list of fans and friends, but do they sit around on Twitter and tweet to these people all day? Nope. They're too busy winning Brit Awards and Grammys, touring, making TV appearances and writing songs for the next record.
I was going to guess Green Day at first.
Frances tweeted Gerard about forgetting her birthday and when i went to her page to ctrl+v that tweet, its gone.
Frances may have deleted it off her twitter but its still there in @gerardway twitter search.
Gofackadawg @gerardway you TOTALY snubbed me on my birthday. ouch gerard, ouch. i'm going to have 2 send you to the spork torture chamber for that man.
about 1 hour ago from web
From what I can see he's still not following her. I'm sure she must have told him in person before.
If she really is a friend, it says a lot if he can't even add her while he goes on having conversations with his other adult famous friends.
He even followed Alicia.
maybe he just didnt realize that gofackadawg was frances. i bet soon lyn-z will tell him and he'll be all "oh, is that you frances?sorry for not adding you earlier, i didnt know it was you!" on twitter.
I don't think you have to worry about the bUzZnEt crowd getting that much into KoL, 4:28.
They are great musicians and gorgeous men, but that's the thing. They look like men. Real men whose testicles have actually dropped and who have real libidos and real sex. As much as the teenies on BN like to go on about how hawt and sexeh Gee and Frank are, I think if the a real opportunity to have sex with one of them presented itself, they would run screaming from the room.
BN teenies like safe, feminine looking boy-men who don't appear threatening in any way.
Holy motherf*cker, i didnt know there's a life size GW poster
GW's life size poster must be a must have item for fangirls to masturbate on.
Scary.
AAAAAAAUUUUUUGHHHHHH!
I think that girl probably had that printed up custom. If it was available for mass purchase I could see there being a flurry on BN ahaha.
He looks scared of her!
She probably realized he wasn't going to reply or be impressed so didn't want look stupid. Too bad people already saw, haha.
Gerard's tweet:
Getting ready for an Umbrella Academy movie meeting...might drive into Hollywood first....
about 2 hours ago from web
Of course he has to show everyone how Hollywood he is now.
At this point I'm 80% sure that Lyn-z won't be returning to MSI.
I bet Frances guilted Frank into tweeting her too.
Wouldn't it be a hoot if Frank actually tweeted her out of his own will, with no shit or guilt from Frances or Mikey?
Ray didn't either.
I think Ray is the one who is least likely to give a shit. I wonder what his wife think of Bean head? I doubt she finds her very amusing, she looks like a normal thirty odd year old woman, not some wannabe who hangs around with sixteen year olds for the 'attention', not that MCR or MSI get that much outside of the internet.
I guarantee they're going to want to make a kiddie movie out of TUA. It's not going to be all "edgy" the way Gerard wants it to be.
If it gets made at all...which I still doubt.
I think it'd be hard to make a mature, edgy movie with its main stars being children. And I mean in most cases, not just Gerard.
I don't think many parents would want to let their kids see TUA if they knew who had written it and the sort of stuff he ways and the people he hangs around with...
I've known parents who were into MCR back when TBP came out. They went to the shows with their kids and really liked the album.
A lot of them didn't approve of Gerard's overuse of the F-word, but let it go. I wonder how they'll react to the edgy new Gerard.
Apparently MCR are banned from playing in the orange county or something for swearing during a gig in a supermarket carpark. I read it in a book somewhere and this police officer was highly offended because GW was getting the crowd to chant 'fuck'. Something like that anyway...
I do know that there were some complaints about his swearing at ComicCon.
I also know a Child Sexual Abuse Advocacy group who complained to DragonCon abou MSI playing there in 08 because they felt that DragonCon should be "family safe" and they didn't approve of MSI's lyrics. I don't think they got anywhere with it though.
You still can't say fuck on the radio or network tv in America without getting in big trouble over it. A lot of parents don't want their kids exposed to that.
there was a post on chemicalromance about the OC thing. from what I remember they were in a big shopping center parking lot and there was a big church a block down which is why the swearing was taken so seriously. that was in 04 I think.
but then they played a show in OC in 07
but then they played a show in OC in 07
You went?

The way he worded his tweet to her sounded like someone had to give him a gentle reminder.
You went?
no but I have an internet friend who did
Warner probably pulled some strings to get the ban lifted. Unless they were prosecuted for something I don't think a ban would stick.
Maybe they were just banned from playing outside shows.
frances is just like any other mcr fans. see, she'll like everything that mcr/lyn-z likes (and claim she likes it first) eg: mad men, levar burton, paula deen, louis ck, yeah yeah yeahs, comic book, etc.
@lynzway @chantalclaret @Aliciaway AW, you guys are best gaggle of Lady friends anyone could ask for! i love you lot!!
11:29 PM Aug 17th from web
of course they're the only lady friends frances got.
Maybe we should really pity that girl. I mean with a fucked up mother who looks like a walking corpse and has a fryed brain from all the drugs and alcohol abuse she really might be looking for people older than her who she can look up to and see as family (hence the lil sis reference).
I know that for us normal functioning people those asshats in MCR and MSI aren't what we would use to choose as rolemodels or even people we would want to associate with, but Beanhead isn't normal and neither was her upbringing. I guess for her Gerard and his lot are as normal as they come.
End of sympathetic rant
*fried
I saw a picture of courtney love looking like the walking dead in a magazine and underneath the pic it said she needed a good hearty meal and a bath lol!!
She did look a right state though. Has she had botox on her mouth? Her lips look really bloated and weird.
I think she's had botox on every inch of her body.
At this point I'm 80% sure that Lyn-z won't be returning to MSI.
Try 99.9%
gerard: @spyflyer I'm just gonna throw this out there...if we saved galaxies- wouldn't we be saving MANY more lives? Like a galaxy of lives?
lol
Clever.
Only works if those galaxies are teeming full of emo life Geetard.
Genuis Gerard, really.
D'ya think he's embarassed about all that 'saving lives' crap? I know I would be.
If his comment about saving galaxies doesn't prove to people that the 'saving lives' bullshit was exactly that - bullshit, then I don't know what is.
He's like a little kid. "I'm a superhero! Our action figures inspire people to save children from burning buildings! This is a band to save your life! We're the best band in the world!"
If it comes out of his mouth, it's pretty much guaranteed to be hyperbolic nonsense. Only the poor teenies with their undeveloped bullshit and sarcasm meters took it seriously.
Only the poor teenies with their undeveloped bullshit and sarcasm meters took it seriously.
Let's hope that they'll never find out how often he took them for a ride. If only one of those depressed and hyper-sensitive teenies does something to themselves he will be in big trouble.
It's obvious he doesn't want to be seen as some sort of messiah to teenage girls. Everything he's done since Pro Rev supports that. Even marrying the person he did. He's been hacking at his own image.
I think there are some not so young fans in their 30s and 40s whose bullshit meters didn't develop properly as well.
It's horrible to think, but maybe it will take someone of that magnitude to knock some sense into him.
I think he'll get knocked down a peg or ten here in the near future.
I've already been reading comments by fans about how they don't feel guilty about downloading their music because of the way Warner has been trying to gouge them with the LE crap.
I also sense a growing discontent among fans about their douchebaggery on twitter.
What I don't see is any influx of new fans who don't fall into the teenie category.
Who do they think is going to replace the ones they're driving away?
Who do they think is going to replace the ones they're driving away?
They're going to bring in Springsteen fans! And don't forget all ten zillion Nirvana fans are going to buy their record because they hang out with F. Bean!
Gerard is probably stupid enough to actually believe this. Boy, is he in for a shock.
Weren't there teenagers who committed suicide because of the Take That break-up?
And they didn't even try to lure kids with mental disorders into buying their albums and merch by telling them constantly that they're here to save their lives and to build an army of outsiders to fight all the bullies and popular people. They never said to their fans that they should never get them alive.
I wonder what happens if those kids really do realize that this was all a big fucking lie, a hoax to make money off of them?
That whole "never take me alive" thing was always a bit disturbing to me. Yes, I know that a mentally stable kid isn't going to take that kind of stuff seriously. But there are a shit ton of mentally unstable kids out there.
For instance, there was a boy who lived in the next county from me who shot his mom because she took his car keys away from him. Then he barricaded himself in the house for several hours while police tried to get him to surrender. Finally, the kid shot himself.
There are kids out there who will do crazy things. Even if it's the parents' fault or the kid's brain chemistry or whatever, if somebody found out that he had been listening to MCR and their "never let them take you alive" crap, who do you think the media would have blamed?
It's probably lucky for them that MCR's fans are mostly female, seeing as how gun crimes like that are usually perpetrated by males. Otherwise they might have already found themselves walking living something similar to Marilyn Manson's Columbine nightmare.
You only have to go to BN to read some posts of said unstable kids.
I remember many of them commenting how MCR has saved their lives and how they wouldn't live anymore if it wasn't for them.
Granted, many of them most likely only said that to get attention or because they couldn't find a better argument to weaken the critics' point of view, but still I think that some of them really meant it that way.
I would have never done such a dangerous thing and to say those kinds of things in interviews or even use it as a marketing ploy to make exactly those mentally ill kids buy your albums.
I bet that this will finally backfire in one way or another.
I do hope no one is hurt due to this piece of shit band.
The way I see it Gerard seems to live in a fantasy world of his own making. He thinks he's this totally fabulous singer/musician/comic book writer/artist, etc. He talks about directing. He probably thinks about acting. He probably thinks he can write Broadway musicals and epic scores for films.
He thinks his wife is the most amazing woman in the world. His baby is no doubt the most amazing baby in the world.
How much of this is just him playing pretend and lying to himself?
Nobody's life is as perfect as he would have us think.
I think most men think of their wife and kids as "the most amazing" in the world. But most men don't push that on everyone and expect them to agree with him.
If it sounds like bullshit, it usually is.
I found it very arrogant of him to tweet that the baby in the picture wasn't "cute enough" to be Bandit.
I'm sure he thinks that, but that's one of those things it's okay to think but not to say.
The baby in that picture has a family of its own who think she's pretty awesome, I'm sure. As a father, he should realize that.
Ray has been awfully quiet since the band got back from Japan. I wonder what's up with that?
I would also like to point out that The Used's new single Born to Quit is available on iTunes and it's very good. They've released two tracks from Artwork now and I love them both.
I just got Lies for Liars and actually love it.. I never really listened to them before this cause i always picked really loud songs but i love Lies for Liars
I downloaded Shallow Believer when it was released and I actually liked it better than Lies for the Liars. Although I did think Lies was underrated. I love some of the tracks on it but don't love others.
I think Artwork is going to kick ass.
IF LIFE IS JUST A JOKE
THEN WHY IS THIS DEAD?
DEAD!
Thanks 10:21. To be honest, I've never listened to kings of Leon and never even heard of them before people started mentioning them on this blog, but with all the poitive things I've been hearing about them I think I'll check them out. Can anyone suggest some good songs to start out with?
"Crawl"
"Be Somebody"
and their 2 hit US singles "Sex on Fire" and "Use Somebody"
Spiral Staircase is good too
KoL's older stuff is really great too, but I think I like the third record (Because of the Times) the best. Charmer, Fans, Arizona and Ragoo are awesome.
From the older records listen to Molly's Chambers, California Waiting, Red Morning Light, The Bucket and Four Kicks and Happy Alone.
Thanks guys, I'll be sure to give them a listen.
xdedx
sorry if this offended any teens on here but its a fact that 99% of mcr fans are teenieboppers. They might say they arent because they "dont want gerard's babies", "dont type in chatspeak" or "dont wear pink" etc but to adult music fans, they're just another breed of teeniebopper.
Which is why a lot of people, adult or kid, is usually reluctant to admit they like the band. I think it's a fact that they are one of the most notorious bands in mainstream rock. Not "notorious" for cool things like the band may want, but for having the worst fans and image. And they're not doing anything to improve it.
Does anyone else notice more and more mention of TUA creeping into Gerard's posts on the website and twitter. What happened to keeping the band and the comics completely seperate.
He gave up on that bit of professional dignity when he realized he needed to fuse the two sets of fans so that he'd wouldn't be left with none.
Although to be fair, the twitter is for Gerard Way, not GWMCR so he should be able to talk about whatever he wants to, comic/music/his stupid hair.
Actually, when the band decided to link Gerard's twitter and even to post it on the Official Band Website, it became about the band, not just about Gerard Way the person.
If his TUA twitters appear on the band's website, then he's no longer keeping the two separate.
Not that anyone ever really believed he would. He wouldn't have gotten the deal with Dark Horse if he they hadn't been counting on him bringing in a bunch of teenage girls.
haha gway is not following liam gallagher on twitter! :D
*now
Was he following Liam at one point?
Somehow I can't see the Gallaghers even knowing who Gerard Way is.
I think it's funny that Gerard and Lindsey were obviously trying to stir up controversy with the JFK photo, but the only site that has picked up on it is Buzznet.
The real media doesn't know they exist.
We should really pity the beanhead.
click.
So it looks like Frances was not a MSI bandwagoner
link
First of all, I take anything that MCR fans "in the know" say with a grain of salt.
Although I wouldn't be surprised that MSI was taking advantage of Frances when she was younger.
Also, the girl who is 21 and best friends with a 14 year old and her nearly 30 year old ex got along with her great? Um, yeah. Most likely the guy was a pedo.
12:06 I think that's a load of bullshit. I would group that alongside the bs about GW & Lindsey knowing each other for years.
I think it's bullshit too. I was a member of chemicalromance and other MCR communities on LJ for a long time and I knew a lot of people. I don't recall a single person who ever mentioned MSI before Gerard and Lindsey hooked up.
Then suddenly after the marriage came all these girls who had 'been into MSI for years.'
Probably 99% of those girls are lying.
Maybe since the bands are so different they didn't feel the need to bring them up until the connection?
Or maybe he was too busy into his Mr nice guy routine he didn't wanna mention a band with their lyrical content. And the fact he was pining away for ms chicken arm while with someone else.
First this place is going non-stop for days, now nothing.
First this place is going non-stop for days, now nothing.
There's nothing much new to talk about right now. Gerard and Lindsey haven't released any more controversial pictures, Frank hasn't called anybody an idiot and Lindsey hasn't told anybody to "suck it," in days.
Be patient. I'm sure they'll do something idiotic soon and this place will be booming again.
i found a qoute in one of my GD books that got me thinking
"I appreciate the success a little more then i did back then {around Dookie} i didn't know how." BJ
Anyways trying to find some sort of concert review that had MCR opening for Green Day cause the ones that i have all say about the same thing : opening act My Chemical Romance
I also checked several books that i have on GD again they don't say a damn thing about MCR... I'm still running on that qoute from Tre Cool that says they got bands that they wanted to see open for them.
sorry for the weird rant
After taking two years off - just enough time for frontman Gerard Way to become a successful comic-book writer - My Chemical Romance debuted a stripped-down look and sound at two recent L.A. club shows. The quintet ditched their goth-meets-Sgt. Pepper outfits and blasted through three concise, Stooges-influenced songs from their new album, due in 2010. "If people want to return to Castle Dracula every time they listen to My Chemical Romance, they're going to be really disappointed," says Way. "We're making a rock & roll record."

Yeah. I used to read mikey's twittering word for word and twice even. But now i'm just like Meh, this is sorta pointless.
I kinda get wat u mean tho, like they've been away for so long and now the bands coming back with a different vibe about them and it seems kinda strange and slightly hard to warm up to. Makes u feel distant from the band definitely, but it will take time getting used to i guess.
New album new beginning, pretty sure when they're officially back on scene doing their thing u'll find a reason to love them again
: )
I'm not so sure about that.
It's almost like their doing what "the scene" wants them to do, and not doing what is them.
They want "to fit in."
Their not the same guys anymore.
Everyone knows how much i was in love with Mikey.
I was in love with him for 6 years, and honestly, anyone who told me i was crazy, i let them have it.
I gave up on that last year. I know, you're all thinking "OMG WHAT! YOU GIVE UP LOVING MIKEY? NEVER!"
And you're all right. He'll always be in my heart, but i realized, loving him the way i did, it was only keeping me depressed. I couldn't have him and everyone let me know that so i was constantly depressed about it but I still put my self through it.
Until last year, i finally let it go.
While i still love him, and i still love the band, I'm not so into them anymore.
They helped me stay alive for so long, but now, it's like, no, not like. They've changed, they've become something else completely, they're not "my" guys anymore.
I feel kind of left behind.
I know i sound crazy and stupid, but i feel betrayed.
They'd rather conform and fit into the in crowd then stay true and keep it real.
Somewhere along the line, MCR stopped being the MCR that saved lives and carried a message, and became MCR "We heart what teenies think."
And I'm probably going to get abused for saying that but i don't mind.
I'm telling what i think.
They're not my guys anymore.
They're more like people at a party that you used to be best friends with but now they barely even acknowledge your presence.
But that's okay too, because I'll always remember them for the crazy, "i don't give a fuck what you think" MCR that saved my life.
And I'll always be a true fan because I'll know who they were before they became mainstream teenie entertainers.
damn they are fading
it's wierd how everything that was predicted in this blog is starting to come true.
Those poor little dumbasses on Buzznet. Don't they know that hating on The Used is so three years ago? In a fandom of idiots, they are the most idiotic of all.
actually there was a debate back around that time.. whether or not to hate the Used since so many fans liked both bands
Despite being very well known, the Stooges never sold very many records.
Just sayin'.
actually there was a debate back around that time.. whether or not to hate the Used since so many fans liked both bands
You're kidding. They actually debated it? Let me guess. Some fans said you couldn't be a "true fan" if you didn't hate The Used because of the feud between Bert and Gerard?
Jack White has always said that he was influenced by the Stooges. I'm just beginning to think Gerard has a man-crush on Jack White.
I'm sorry if this sounds mean, but where on earth do these idiots on BN come from? I think they all crawled out from under rocks.
I have never gone there until recently because I'd heard that it was a slime pit, but I wasn't expecting it to be as bad as it is.
The people there don't know who Zachary Quinto is? And they're calling Milo Ventimiglia Jess? The Gilmore Girls is over people. At least a few of them are calling him Peter, but who calls actors by their character names? They must all be twelve.
Sorry for the rant. It's just that I'm severely bothered by stupid and I don't think I've ever seen so much stupid concentrated in one place before.
At least The Used has their credibility. The sound much better too.
^they
i've never been much of a greenday fan but i love their new album, especially 'last night on earth'. though i couldn't help but be reminded of 'sleep' by mcr in the beginning piano part. i bet gerard thought the same.
Yes The Used does still have their credibility. They didn't come out onstage in ridiculous band uniforms with white faces and painted on sideburns, saying that they felt sorry for bands who just play in jeans and t-shirts and don't get to dress up and play roles onstage, only to turn around and ditch that a couple of years later to come onstage and play in...jeans and a t-shirt (and of course a leather jacket for Dumb-ass).
I bet the members of The Used were laughing their asses off whenever they saw that video of WTTBP. Bert was probably thinking, "And I used to be friends with that moron."
Green Day is awesome. I hate when people say "Oh they're too mainstream now" or "I used to like them before American Idiot."
21st Century Breakdown is a great album and Green Day are still great performers. You can't go to a Green Day and come away disappointed.
^Green Day show^
Sorry for the rant. It's just that I'm severely bothered by stupid and I don't think I've ever seen so much stupid concentrated in one place before August 20, 2009 7:49 PM
Probably because that much stupid is hard to find in one place. It's like they gatheres from all over just to...oh...shit. that's their plan. All the stupid altogether in one place to dominate and contaminate the sane.
Except for the fact they most likely start to withdraw if they get to far away from the hive mind of stupid-dom for too long.
Maybe income levels and nationality have a lot to do with why some of the people on BN seem less savvy or educated to us.
On the Zachary Quinto issue, maybe the kids on BN haven't had the money to go out and see Star Trek yet? Also the Gilmore Girls has been out for a long time and has been shown in reruns all over everywhere, whereas people from other countries are less likely to have seen Heroes.
I think somebody did a study about how people on Facebook were more likely to be affluent and educated than people on MySpace and sites like BN.
The people on Buzznet do seem to be somewhat behind and out of touch with the "latest" things.
Out of touch with reality, would, I believe, be a better description. With Volup at the top of the pile.
On the Zachary Quinto issue, maybe the kids on BN haven't had the money to go out and see Star Trek yet? Also the Gilmore Girls has been out for a long time and has been shown in reruns all over everywhere, whereas people from other countries are less likely to have seen Heroes.
I think in times of a world wide web it is quite unusual to not know about what most celebrities do or in what new show their favorite actors have a part in.
If I would be interested in Milo and his work I would certainly know that he is now starring in Heroes and there are also numerous ways to watch that show on the internet just like watching recent movies such as Star Trek on certain sites.
I think that most of the people on BN are very young teenagers who don't care about grammar or spelling mistakes. If I go to YouTube to watch German videos and then read the comments there I mainly get the feeling that Germany is a nation of brain dead imbeciles. The German teenagers come across as highly uneducated (and most likely they are) and don't give a damn about how stupid they look with the crap they're posting.
As to Milo and the BN folks who still call him Jess; I really think that they're infatuated with his Gilmore Girls character and not so much with the person himself, let alone his Heroes character.
It's the same with this Robert Pattinson. As if those teenies or Twi-moms (or however those creepy 30-somethings are called who lust after this guy's vampire character) are interested in the man himself. They're in love with Edward Cullen and not with Robert Pattinson.
It's the same thing with Gerard. The fans aren't in love with Gerard Way, the "musician" (I use the term lightly), they're in love with "Gee" the guy in the fanfic they're reading.
Exactly, anon. They're in love the Gerard 'character' each of them is creating individually in their heads.
You really think so? No sarcasm, serious question. i ask because back when i would've considered myself enamored with Gerard it wasn't because of fan fic. It was because of interviews and meeting him at shows, etc, not other people's odd ideas of how he should act.
Maybe I was the only one, but I'd doubt it.
I don't know if your comment was addressed to me, anon, but I was actually not really agreeing to the fan fic thing but to the previous anon's opinion that the fans are not in love with the real Gerard but with the Gerard they're creating in their heads. Each of them projects their favorite traits onto him and that's the perfect Gerard then.
I don't think most of us here were in love with or infatuated with Gerard. I know I wasn't. Yes, we liked him a lot exactly for the same reasons you said: his responses in interviews, the quotes that we read, the way he acted at shows circa 2005, etc.
But that Gerard wasn't real, so most of us don't care for him anymore.
I think it's the fangirls who are in love with the fictitious 'Gee'. Otherwise, I don't know how they can stand his obnoxious ass.
And I'm not referring to the Gerard of fanfiction either. I meant the 'Gee' they've created in their heads.
Warner probably pulled some strings to get the ban lifted. Unless they were prosecuted for something I don't think a ban would stick.
Maybe they were just banned from playing outside shows.
Or maybe Gerard just made the whole thing up.
Siobhan it was partly to you-I got what you meant-and partly to the anon. It's a shame they don't realize that the traits they think make someone perfect isn't all there is to that person, everyone has bad faults too.
Anon, I do think it's a dangerous thing to think you're 'in love' with someone like that, or anyone you don't know. But yes like you pointed out, I guess it wasn't really him anyway that we saw. Which is a shame, because I always found him to be very nice. Dorktastic, but rather sweet and appreciative. He played it well. Fangirls are scary, and the older ones are scariest. I can forgive the younger ones to an extent; thry're growing up and haven't realized. But the older ones should know better.

I heard he grossly exaggerated the whole thing. I think that's probably right. Got more people on their side thinking the state was overreacting and that mcr were really hardcore because they had a 'brush with the authorities'. You only have to watch the bit in lotms where he talks about the guy outsude the crack house...you know he ran the other way when that happened.
I'm going with "he made the whole thing up." Just like everything else.
Okay, so everything on Buzznet isn't stupid. I gotta say I loved this comment:
"I'd like to think that somewhere in an alternate universe, John F. Kennedy is alive and well. I'd also like to think that he and his wife, Jackie O, are doing a photo shoot dressed up like Gerard and Lyn-Z Way on the day of Gerard's brutal slaying."
Link.
^Somebody should tweet that to Lindsey and tell her to "Suck it."
Thanks for the link, anon. That guy is brilliant and the comments too.
To say it with Geetard's words: My finger is itching to send that link to him.
sent
Btw, what happened with the AG's blog entry? Did somebody tweet the link to them?
You're welcome for the link, Siobhan. Thanks for passing it on.
Maybe if the idiot thinks about the possibility of his own mortality and his amazing wife going through what Jackie did, and then little Bandit one day seeing someone so callously re-enact his own brutal murder he'll realize why people are upset over the picture.
Somehow I kinda doubt it though.
The amazing wife is just as callous and stupid for participating in this re-enactment. And for her equally blasé response.
Gerard and LynZ are out of luck. They can play dress-up all they want, but they'll never be as iconic and culturally relevant as JFK and Jackie O.
You'd think, what with Gerard being such a 'conduit for human emotion' and all, that his feelings of empathy for Caroline Kennedy's loss would have prevented him from publishing that picture.
Oh wait. All that stuff about him having an overdeveloped sense of empathy was all just a bunch of LIES.
Never mind.
It might sound stupid but I thought that maternity would make an impact on Lindsey.
I don't know if I would still mock or provoke people or hurt other people's feelings - just like she did with that re-enactment of the assassination of JFK - if I would have become an even more vulnerable target myself due to maternity.
It's one thing to defend myself and protect myself or even having to deal with pissed off people who might make fun of myself in return, but when there is a child there could always be the situation in which people's anger could be directed towards my child in order to hurt me even more.
I think if I was her or even Gerard I would keep my big mouth shut about a lot of things in public from now on and would stop doing things only for shock value because my child could possibly be the one having to pay for the crap mommy and daddy found so 'artsy'.
You'd think, what with Gerard being such a 'conduit for human emotion' and all, that his feelings of empathy for Caroline Kennedy's loss would have prevented him from publishing that picture.
JFK isn't a real person to him. He's a comic book hero.
You unfortunately have a very good point, Siobhan. I've seen some nasty tweets to Frances since she's had a Twitter, blaming her for Kurt's death and stuff like that. Makes me feel bad for her for a minute. And I've also seen tweets expressing jealousy of Bandit already. I suppose I could understand being jealous, but some go as far as blaming her for the undoing of MCR. The band may be going under, but it is by no means the fault of an innocent baby. Some comments I've read send a chill down my spine.
MCR has been and will continue to be the undoing of MCR.
What could they possibly blame a baby for? That is so wrong on so many levels. It's that buffoon they still idolize, and refuse to see as a very flawed human being.
Exactly 5:13, so they will find anything else remotely relevant to blame, even an infant.
JFK isn't a real person to him. He's a comic book hero.
I doubt that Gerard has experienced a real true emotion in years. Maybe the drugs gave him brain damage or something, but I don't think he's all there.
The child should be off-limits that's for sure, but the thing is that if you're playing dirty all the time and don't give a fuck about other people's feelings then you shouldn't be that surprised if the others start playing dirty too.
That's why I'm saying that if I was Gerard and Lindsey I would be keeping a low profile.
That's why I'm saying that if I was Gerard and Lindsey I would be keeping a low profile.
They seem to want the attention, and they keep on trying to seek it in the most inflammatory ways a la MSI.
I worry for Gerard's safety.
It seems that he's a magnet for mentally deranged fans. Couple that with his uncanny ability to provoke people and piss them off and make them feel betrayed and I think there is a potential recipe for disaster.
I can't stand the guy, but I would seriously hate to see something bad happen to him, the wife or the baby. Especially the baby.
Oooh, I had a dress with cherries on it when I was a little girl.
I loved that dress.
Whoopsie. Wrong blog.
I agree 6:00. He is certainly not on the same level as John Lennon, but it's all too easy to picture something like that happening to him.
No, he's not on the same level as John Lennon, that's for certain. But for some reason, I get the feeling that he sees himself as an iconic figure. I think he views his accomplishments as being much more substantial than they are.
He's just a vocalist/writer; and not an extraordinary one. Just one with a big mouth for self-promotion.
I also think he has a way of ingratiating himself with people who he knows will benefit him in his career, but once he's gotten what he wants from them he forgets all the help he received and convinces himself he got where he is on his own merits. This makes him come off as ungrateful and arrogant. I think it has probably cost him many important relationships and will eventually be what kills his career.
Maybe he needs to learn some humility. Unfortunately the culture of the music industry doesn't seem to favor that.
Not all bands and artists develop egos the size of Jupiter and forget where they come from like Gerard seems to have done.
I think the ones who realize that they aren't the end all be all of the music scene are the ones who have staying power. They progress because they realize they still have things to learn.
Gerard already thinks he knows it all. He's got the answer. I know because he said so.
Oh yeah! How could his unforgettable and very original song DBD ^_^
*his unforgettable and*

So which "lovely" and I use that term loosely, are you, anoning yourself?
Sorry but after Mya, Elena, MJ and all the rest of the Mayo "anons" who come over here to deny that Frank is SS and start up shit, you never know.
After all you are over there talking to that bunch.
11:13 no one is trying to cause trouble with the Mayo people.
Yeah, leave that drabble at Mayo's where it belongs. No need to bring it here.
Though despite my just saying that, sometimes I don't understand the animosity between the two blogs. They're two blogs having to do with My Chemical Romance. Having wars back and forth just seems incredibly blasé.
Because they are not both directly to do with mcr. You know what this one is for, but the other doesn't even acknowledge Gerard (or frank for the other 'other') so nobody wants to talk seriously about a speculated blog being written by Gerard or Frank. And if you go to M's to do that you won' be listened to anyway. That's not what it's about.
is Gerard using the photoshopped pic for his twit icon? Using my cousin's computer and her screen is filthy. The mic looks a bit pink lol so I thought i'd ask.
LMAO no it's the original photo.
Haha ok lol, thanks! Damn would've been funny.
Wishful thinking on his part.
Wishful thinking on his part.
........
If I had one i'd let him...
You're sick.
Lol okay, if you think so.
Lolwot?
If I had one i'd let him...
If that's the case what are you doing here?
Oh and let me just say...GROSS! You don't know where his mouth has been. Although he is married to Lindsey, so you can get a pretty good idea of some of the types of places it's been. So you just don't know what you might catch from him.
If that's the case what are you doing here?
Just because I think he's an ass doesn't mean I can't find him attractive on the outside. My reasons for being here are as valid as most others' here. And it was a joke, mostly, seeing as I don't 'have one'.
I'd like to tell Gerard to suck my non-existent dick in the metaphorical sense, but not because I find him attractive.
I did find him attractive at one point, but after seeing him in concert and watching the way he moves, the shape of his body, etc., my attraction to him went up in smoke.
He's so non-sexual. When he does things like sticking his hands down his pants and smacking his ass it's very off-putting to me because he isn't the least bit sexy.
I think Adam Lazzara is very sexual onstage, but not in such an overt manner. It comes naturally to him. Gerard tries too hard to be something he's not.
One of the things that drew me to this band was that they weren't like the two main types of bands out there: there's the feminine, delicate looking pop rock band, and then there's the burly, cro-magnon type. The awkwardness of MCR was appealing to me in a way. I used to be fine with the on stage "sexual" behavior like Frerard because it was obvious they were taking the piss. But recently I've gotten the feeling that Gerard really does fancy himself to be sexually provocative, which ruins the whole thing.
Excuse me, but maybe the anomousity some of us feel towards Mayo's is people like OPJ calling us "slimy" and the bunch of them saying that they don't want to read anything said over here, yet they are somehow ALWAYS HERE ANYWAY, HI ELENA, HI MYA, HI OPJ.
The lying bothers me.
And the "we're so much better than you because you hate MCR, but all we're guilty of is harassing people to unbelievable degrees and trying to ruin their lives and rape their privacy"....
That's gross too.
Look, anon, those at Mayo's will always be far crueller (sp?) to eachother than they will be to anyone here so don't worry. Leave them to their behaviour as they wish over there. I anon there as well as here, and honestly, most of what gets said there with regards to VV's is about how Mayo 'bkues' make idiots out of themselves here. It's 99% not about the actual people posting here.
They like this controversy, that they get talked about here, it gives them something to complain about.
*blues
I feel the less said about Mayo here the better, but I would like to point out something that I've noticed.
The people there seem to always insist that they are so "brave" because they are "signed in" with their lovely little blue names, yet it has been proven that more than one of them sometimes choose to go anon. They are also quick to point out that many of us here are "all in black" as if that were something less desirable or less honorable than being "blue."
I say their reasoning is faulty.
Most of us choose to remain anon because we aren't looking for personal attention or to form "lifelong friendships" here. We simply want to state our opinions and have them viewed objectively by other people who visit this site. Were we suddenly to all have "blue names" then this place would probably divide along the same lines as Mayo's did. Some of us would ignore others based on who we are or who our friends are, and opinions, logic, common sense, etc., would become secondary to the "HEY, LOOK AT ME!!" kind of dynamic that goes on at Mayos.
Being blue does not make you brave, particularly when you know you have a bevy of other blue friends who will come to your defense every time, not based on what you have to say, but simply because of who you are. What that makes you is like that bunch on Buzznet who let Voluptuosity continue to make a fool out of herself on a daily basis, while she views herself as some kind of Queen Bee (Queen of the Hive Mind, I suppose).
The people who post here are not slimy. We just have a different opinion on MCR than the people at Mayo's. Most of us would like to keep the blogs separate. I think there are one or two "FRANK IS SS! I KNOW IT!" anons who try to stir up animosity between the blogs, but those people don't represent VV or this blog. Most of the time I choose to ignore them, but I felt that these things needed to be said.
Frank is SS. how does that stir up animosity? just because you disagree or weren't there to see the many times he proved it, that means that those of us who know it for a fact are automatically villains?
Not only is that faulty reasoning, it's also just plain rude and not how I like to think of VV's.
August 19, 2009 8:41 AM
QFT.
We don't care about SS here. Why don't you get that through your thick skull?
Not only is that faulty reasoning, it's also just plain rude and not how I like to think of VV's.
My reasoning is not faulty and I'll tell you why: Every time one of you SS IS FRANK!!!one!eleven! people shows up here, that's when trouble starts.
VV herself has said that this blog has nothing to do with Mayo's and by constantly bringing up SS you bring up Mayo as well.
I don't care about your agenda with the people at Mayo. I think 99% of the other people here feel the same way.
"We don't care about SS here. Why don't you get that through your thick skull?"
Inorite? It's like here we are, trying to have a discussion about apples and somebody keeps prattling on about oranges. I don't see what Mayo or SS have to do with this blog.
10:38, that's the kind of rudeness I associate with the psychos at Mayo's. Just because you think something different, you make personal attacks.
""We don't care about SS here. Why don't you get that through your thick skull?""
I didn't realize that you speak, and so rudely, for the entire blog.
I beg to differ but there are some people who are interested.
You are the ones making personal attacks and being insulting, which is really what turns this place into the cesspit that is Mayo's.
Well, gee. How many times do people have to say that they don't want to talk about Mayo or SS here?
Didn't you make a blog to discuss that?
Whatever. Speak amongst yourself, SS is Frank! person. I guess we'll do like we always do and ignore you.
Again with the rudeness. This makes me think you are one of Mayo's "lovelies" trying to keep secrets you think are yours.
Because it's really only over there, and a few of you nasties here, that get that rude over something that you insist doesn' tmatter that much.
I notice it was 10:25 who brought this up again. And looking back, it was the nasty "OMG U ppl R crazy to think that SS is Frank, what a waste of lives"!!!! crew that KEEPS ON bringing it up. Funny.
I agree that the discussion about Mayo's blog and whether or not Frank is SS is annoying. I wish it would stop too, because I don't see the point in it.
But I would like to ask a question to the person who keeps posting about it here. What difference does it make? If Frank was SS, which I don't believe for a second and never did, why would it matter and why should the people posting here at VV care? Most of us have made it clear that we don't care for either Gerard or Frank.
I'm not trying to start anything. I'd just really like to know why you think it's relevant.
I notice it was 10:25 who brought this up again. And looking back, it was the nasty "OMG U ppl R crazy to think that SS is Frank, what a waste of lives"!!!! crew that KEEPS ON bringing it up. Funny.
Oh, so I guess you're saying that one of the lovelies wrote this:

That was the main gist of the comment at 10:25. Are you saying the "lovelies" are comparing themselves to Voluptuosity? Or did you just neglect to read that part?
I never said anything like that. Now your reasoning IS starting to sound like the idiots at Mayo's.
All I said is that if the angry, insulting "OMG THOSE IDIOTS" people here don't like to hear that SS is Frank, why are they the ones always bringing up the people who know that he is? Seriously. ALWAYS. it always starts with one of the people here going "those DUMBASS INSANE IDIOTS WHO THINK FRANK IS SS OMG!!!!!!11111z"
How is that supposed to be nice? The person who originally wrote it may have the right idea about what Mayo's is like, but guess what, she just demonstrated the exact same kind of insults you get over there.
And.... she brought it up.
I never said anything like that. Now your reasoning IS starting to sound like the idiots at Mayo's.
Hmm...calling people idiots. Now who's being rude?
