I'm sorry but I laughed at Frank's tweet. I stopped caring about this band almost a year ago but even I can see that was very dry sarcasm. If he had tweeted that to me I would have laughed. MCR's fanbase is mostly made up of girls under 16. These girls are often very emotionally invested in the band and are fragile because of their age.
Kids have committed suicide because of internet bullying by peers. In fact, they even made laws to try and stop it.
Should one mentally unstable kid take Frank's "sarcasm" seriously and try to hurt herself over it, it would open up a huge can of worms.
The band would be sued. Twitter would be sued. Frank might even be prosecuted.

I think his first excuse was that they were too fast, like Our Lady Of Sorrows. I don't think anyone heard why he didn't play them at the Roxy. I may just be cynical, but my guess would be he just doesn't want to. He didn't record or write the drum parts so why should he have to play it?

When I saw MCR in 05 they played Our Lady of Sorrows and I'm pretty sure they played Headfirst for Halos and maybe some other Bullets songs.

Problem is, the fangirls can't hear what he actually sounds like when he's "hawt" because of all those pesky hormones raging through their veins. It adversely affects their hearing.
Since I never found him "hawt" I always thought he sounded shit live.
