I really don't think lynz went into gerard's Twitter and blocked those girls. He probably did it himself. If someone was sending my spouse hate tweets I would block them from my Twitter, regardless of whether or not they were being hateful towards me. And as for blocking hatred when Paris Hilton, Britney et al don't, I think it just shows that they aren't so desperate to have high numbers of followers and are quite happy to block people who go out of their way to be abusive. Because of the subjective nature of art, it is very easy for any schmuck—especially spoiled LA rawkstahs with connections—to try to be controversial in order to remain relevant, and call it “art.”
However, this piece is unspeakably dull. Gerard Way looks like some aging stoner nodding off in his retirement car, and Lindsey (sorry, I refuse to use scene names,) looks stiff and bored. Thankfully, at least, a future in acting is out of the question for these two.
It's very easy to try to stir up some notoriety for yourself, however when you're the Stephanie Meyers of “singers,” (in Gerard's case,) with nothing but tweens and a handful of bored, aging midwest moms for fans (who hang onto MCR because they think that maybe, just maybe Frank Iero will leave his wife for them.) Or in Lindsey's case, from a band whose only claim to fame is misogynistic, racist and homophobic lyrics masquerading as “satire” (sorry, but satire takes skill and meaning, not some dumb mohawked 40 year old squealing vulgarities while a pretend bassist does backbends and flashes her panties.) Your paycheck is guaranteed anyway, because the public just eats up mediocrity.

I think he's pretty much adored now. He is fallible cos he's human but over all I would say that he def makes time to meet fans after shows or stop to chat if he runs into fans in malls and airports etc. He's certainly not the diva gerard is.

One of the wonderful things about the internet is that things can be taken in an amazing spectrum of diffrent views. One person could type something one way and another person could understand it to mean something else.
Anotherway BN is a public forum anyone can post a link and go to a picture or a thread. It was the way i found out about this website. No not from the other site you call traitorous. anything is not safe on the internet. ITs public domain and up for interpertation in any form on any website.
To my knowledge no one has signed up just to post verita's blog or comment on it.. Other people post on it.

Please forgive me if I go off on a tangent. I apologize in advance for the lengthy post. I have been reading this blog since its beginning. I have friends who are still tied firmly to this band because they see past Gerard and accept it as a whole unit and not just this one man. While I believed he was slowly tearing it apart I had complete faith that after the birth of his child things would change. I considered myself a fan of the music. I wasn't at all concerned with who Gerard was screwing or when Mikey was getting married or any of that. There are things that have been posted here that I agree with and things here that I don't. I have been feeling like Gerard murdered MCR's orginal "message" because it no longer suited him or his new friends but I really tried to just ignore Gerard and focus on the music. Until today when I saw the Gerard/Lindsey picture. I will have nothing else to do with this man or his band. I'm 30 years old so I wasn't around obviously for the Kennedy assasination but my mother was.
There are some things so sacred you just don't touch them. Jackie Kennedy watched her husband die right in front of her and then had to mother two small children who didn't understand. If Jack Kennedy had lived and his ideals had come to life there is no telling how different things would be now. Their tacky representation of that dark day in American History would be no different then someone recreating 9/11 or Columbine or any number of tragedies simply to stoke their own egos. Tasteless isn't even the word for this. Disrespectful comes to mind.
And the teenagers who are commenting and eating this up make me terribly sad. One girl even asked if they were supposed to be JFK and Carolyn Kennedy. Dear God, really? Do any of them realize that these were REAL people? That Jack Kennedy was a young man and father killed in the prime of his life? Or that Jackie had to ride to the hospital with bits of her husbands brains on that Chanel suit?
MCR will never receive another penny from me. And the new songs are so horrible it won't be long before they don't receive a penny from anyone except those wacko's over at Buzznet who seem to think they are on some holy crusade. My mother told me to go and look up this picture. She said that someone should send this to Lindsey and ask her if one day she and her children are going to re-enact it as well.
I don't think these people have any clue what it was like to have lived through this horrible event in our history. My mother was six (one month older than Caroline Kennedy was at the time) and she remembers exactly where she was and how everyone around her reacted to what happened. She also remembers being very sad for the little boy and girl in that picture.
It sickens me that the moronic fangirls simply take Lindsey's "its art. suck it," as gospel and will probably never know just how disrespectful the picture truly is.

I agree with also 8:56. As I expressed in my comment yesterday, I can't even fathom the shock and horror the first lady must have experienced that day, the trauma of having his remains on her jacket, while her dead husband lay next to her with a hole blown from his head. Lindsey is a shallow, conceited woman. And of course Chantal & Co are praising her "art".
