So Gerard and Lindsey have a child and in true Hollywood style they named their new accessory "Bandit".
There's some psychology of feeling like a child is a pet, or just wanting to fit in with the "cool" crowd behind this but I'm not up to figuring it out.

Apparently, MCR is planning on only playing large metropolitan areas with large arenas of 10,000+ seating capacity if they think they're going to get $250,000 a gig. They must not be planning to do a lot of dates.
Their ticket prices will probably be pretty steep as well. I'm not sure that's a great idea in this economy. But hey, maybe an album full of beautiful lyrical songs like "The World is Ugly" will make people want to travel great distances and shell out big bucks to hear Gerard sing them in his lovely angelic voice.

Surely, MCR will wait to tour after they finish their new album. They are just now starting to record it. I'm sure Gerard is probably all itching to go be back in the spotlight but i can't see them touring and singing the same old crap over and over.

If you think this is the only place where fans have been complaining about the band's lack of blogging skills, then you don't get around much in the fandom.
Granted, I don't care that much anymore, but occasionally I still check in on some of the fansites and lj's of people I met when I was a fan. Nearly everybody has been talking about how disappointed they are in the lack of music updates.

As all the fan girls have been ooh-ing and aah-ing over the baby and now they're all excited that she's been born and what a 'hardcore, amazing, FIERCE' name she has, getting an album out and touring pretty soon would be quite a smart move as the baby news is fresh in the fangirl's minds. I think if they left it a while to release their new album and go on tour, some of the 'excitement' will have died down and it may not sell as well.

Does anybody else think it's kind of weird that MSI included a quote that Gerard made about the pregnancy in the birth announcement on their website?
I mean, MCR hasn't even announced the birth yet on their site and Gerard hasn't said anything since he made that quote (that appeared in Kerrang, I think) way back in like December or something. Why would MSI be quoting Gerard about the baby? He's not a member of the band.

I actually think this could be true, and as much as you'll all hate me for saying this, I think it's really ignorant to just assume that 'this is wrong', don't do the Gerard- I know this is an MCR hate blog- but come on, don't assume everything Gerard does is wrong or for attention (although a majority of what he does is).

Their daughter, Bandit Lee Way, was born in Los Angeles at 2:57 P.M. on May 27th and weighs 6 lbs., 5.6 oz. "Everyone is healthy and happy." Says a rep for the couple.

Speaking of being high while pregnant - Lindsey gave birth at the end of May, so she must have conceived about end of August/early September. Wasn't that now imfamous Rocksound interview at the end of August? The mention going home and playing for "rock royalty" when they got home and according to Wikipedia Frances' stupid Suicidal 16th was on Sept 2. So I think it's safe to say that Lindsey was using drugs at the time concetion and in her first tri-mester.

I've checked this blog every so often since it began and i read comments as far as i want to go in.. Now before i started following the band on Buzznet, i loved just reading their interviews and i wasn't so fangirlish. Then i became one of the fangirls that was obsessed with what they were doing, and who they were hanging out with and i kept telling myself that i was only doing this because it was fun to know "trivia" on them. Soon the engagement to Eliza came out and like any fangirl i was upset, but i started reading about her on buzznet, and was also there when he broke up with her. I noticed the eratic behavior then and folowed it onto Projekt Revolution. Heard about Lyn-Z and became slightly worried about him, but like most people on their i thought she was simply a rebound... his behavior became worse and i became slighty scared and fangirl less and less... finally he told little girls to fuck themselves and that destroyed any love, fangirl, respect that i and my friends held for the man. My male friends actually came into my bedroon and destroyed posters of the band. To be honest i didn't try and stop them.. I still go onto BN but most of the time it's for news.. i have several bands that i love but don't follow to closely.. occasionaly i talk on the MCr forums but in one of the later ones talking about if Gerard seemed strange i wrote "i too, have also noticed quite a few of the changes in him. He went from telling girls they were beatiful to telling them to fucking themselves. After i heard about this, i lost a good deal of my respect for him. i also lost a bit of respect for the band becuase they didn't tall him to shut up. However right after his wedding i had mixed thoughts about Lyn-z. I didn't know a lot about her personally, although i knew a lot about her bandmates and i was quite worried he would get messed up again. Now that she's pregnant i worry for the kid as well. Jimmy Urine is not someone i would want around my child. Especially my newborn child.
Going back to the changes i understand that in marriage it is about compromises. I understand he had to give a little, but i don't know how to describe it, he suddney; turned off the Gerard that we knew and loved and turned into an arrogant bastard. Quite truthfully i hope that they do read these forums on occasion, and i hope Gee, especially sees what we're beginning to think.

Reading was the last week in August I think. So if Lindsey went full term in her pregnancy, she would have been pregnant during that interview.

Hey HappyXamp. Good post. I've seen you on BN a couple of times. I'm glad you got that off your chest.
I have no doubt in my mind that she was doing drugs in her first tri-mester. There's the Rock Sound interview and the thing that Gerard said about Susan's health in Kerrang. He made it sound as though there was initial concern about wheather she's be okay. People usually don't think that way unless they have a history of family genetic disorder and if the mother uses substances (drugs and/or alcohol) heavily during the first stages.
We already know she didn't give up a simple thing like dyeing her hair to protect her baby because of the Bamboozle and kissing pictures, what are the chances she do the big things like giving up smoking, drugs and alcohol?
I think Gerard has finally achieved what he wanted. Lots of the fangirls at BN and other fan sites no longer find him hawt because of his new daddy status. They must have some sense after all. Don't think any girl would find a married man and new father, a lust worthy fantasy figure.
I think he will be conflicted about the fangirls. He never wanted them around because he wanted to be taken seriously, but then he soon realise that the fan girls were his bread and butter. Both in music and in comics.
He shouldn't have gone back on his original message and pissed his more mature fan base off. I think if he's as smart as he USED to make himself look, he'll soon realise when and where he went wrong. I hope he does, as well as realising that he has no one to blame but himself.

I'm thinking he must be jerk with a big ego who likes stupid girls because they don't challenge or nag him and are very complacent. His fragile ego simply couldn't take a female that could argue with him. He probably thinks they are trying to control him. Only problem is they make him appear stupid as well.

I don't think it has all that much to do with sex because smart girls like sex too. Unless stupid girls don't expect too much from men in the bedroom (I wouldn't know; I'm not stupid), in which case it could be that he's not terribly confident or accomplished in that department and thinks a stupid girl won't know the difference.

I imagine he gets away with a lot of things, with these types of women, than he would with a really intelligent one. She also gets to play with his money so that makes up for putting up with him.

Gerard seems to obsessed with his LA life style, however something struck me, if he's trying to copy BIllie Joe Armstrong he would have moved to Oakland instead of LA cause BIllie hasn't really kept that a secret.... and all that BS about the artist community in LA...
