Bob Bryer used his Twitter account to write the word "c--t" for all his fans and call it "art" and then, apparently according to someone at the NIN news site, he made a dick move in basically stealing his friend's idea and votes for making money for an animal shelter. Yes an animal shelter got money but he screwed over someone else to do it.

I had completely forgotten about those ugly things. I really hope that no one actually paid money for a used pair of shoes. I never did understand why Lynz didn't give them a newer pair and then at least the person who bought them could have worn them.
But she might have fuck GW in those boots so they would bring in more money from the fansheep.

Just for the record I never said I didn't read here I said I didn't understand all the negativity about MCR that is posted here. I understand you all have your own opinions and that is fine with me.
I only spoke here today because of the question the anon asked. They didn't understand why someone would pay that much for a comic. Yes, I did think they were talking about me because I had made it known that I had done just that. Regardless since I had bought the comic and I am over 40 I figured that meant I could answer the question.

Okay, thanks. Because I was thinking of the Rorschach Test, which has obviously meaning within the comic that I would know if I had read it.
I haven't read the comic. Everyone keeps saying how great it is. When every I try to read stuff everyone thinks is great I end up hating it.
I listened to that new interview with Ray on the radio about the Watchmen song. He didn't try and make out that he was a huge watchmen fan before, he said he read the comic after they were asked to do the song - you have to give him credit for that I guess. And at the end he seemed to appreciate the fans - if any of the other guys had said it I would have laughed, but he really sounded sincere. I feel sorry for Ray being stuck with those guys.
I don't remember Ray saying he was into comic. I think he was to busy learning to play.
I don't know about Ray being any different from the others because once you start saying one seems to be a stand up guy he will all of a sudden do some douche bag thing.

I like coming on here, i've learned a few things that has put me off MCR as people (i still like MCR's music and i will still listen to it) but on other sites you get fangirls going on about how GW and lindsey are 'made for each other' and i'd rather listen to people who aren't fourteen year old girls who are so obsessed they 'luuurff' gerard and anything he does. so, yeah, i like coming on here you get sense from people rather than obsessive rambling, lol
The only real comic book nerds in the band are Gerard and Mikey. Ray was never really into them and neither was Bob. Once when Bob was asked what his favorite comic character was he said something like, "I don't know. Superman, I guess?" Like he didn't know any of the others. And Frank never talks about comics either.
So I don't understand why (the two or three MCR fans on ONTD keep saying that "this band knows more about Watchmen than you ever will" when Watchmen fans express disappointment about MCR's involvement.
Maybe Gerard and Mikey know a lot, but hey. I read the novel maybe three or four years ago. Does that make me any less of a fan than Gerard? Or if somebody just read it last week and loved it, does that make them any less of a fan than I am? I don't think so.
And just because Gerard and Mikey are big Watchmen fans it doesn't mean that anything they do for the film can't be criticized.
Anyway, sorry for the rant. I just wanted to get that off my chest.

I find it quite annoying that all of a sudden there are girls who are 'hhhuuuuge comic book fans' because of MCR. I hate comic books, I always have but it's really annoying when people jump on the band wagon. I suppose in another respect it's cool that the association with comics that MCR have has brought new fans to comics and such like, but it's annoying when people like them only because gerard way likes them and they're trying to have things in common with him or other such crap. I hate that sort of thing. In 10years time when they don't like MCR anymore and have grown up they probably won't even read comics anymore.

To be honest I like Shut Me Up by MSI (I did only listen to it out of curiosity)but I'm not going to run out and buy every CD and piece of merch like some people. I've read it (for school ages ago) and it's okay, but far from my favorite. It's sort of a passage of youth thing for teenage boys (and has been for a long time) but not the kind of book that appeals to masses of young girls. So I'm pretty sure most of those fans were just jumping on the bandwagon.

So many of MCR's fans actually embrace the term "emo". They were using it to define themselves before Gerard made his "emo is shit" speech. I've seen tons of posts on fansites where girls were calling for MCR fans to write letters of protest to first one newspaper or tv station for running negative stories about "emo culture".

That is what I was trying to say earlier. I didn't think that the reposting of things said by people at mayo's belonged here. But i don't have my own blog up anymore and they won't take it to my blog.
Maybe some of these people are taking the ridiculing of a rock star far too personally. He is not exactly one of their family members.

The tension isn't about the band anymore. Some people have been coming here from the beginning and they have formed relationships with each other. Good and Bad. Actually there aren't other bands for me to spend my money on. I am very picky about what bands i support. MCR appear to share the same views that I did. So I gave them my support the same way I would a politician.

What the anons where doing earlier no that wasn't.
When it comes to MCr for me it is. When i look around the entertainment worlds mainly music all I see are people who want to make money. They don't care who they step on to do. Mcr seemed different.
Now that they have become like everything else I hate about the music world I am want to let them know how I feel about it.
So I gave them my support the same way I would a politician.
You and many others I guess felt the same way.
That would explain to me the strong emotions that exist when discussing this band.
However, as the other anon stated, you will never know these people personally. They live their lives the way they feel it is right for them. Even though I would tend to agree sometimes a metaphoric slap upside the head would do some of these rockstars no harm.
I would not stop anyone expressing an opinion. I'm just concerned when one of harm is expressed.
