".... I've become hateful towards all humans in general....."

Maybe I should have titled this "douchebag disease is contagious"....

Bob Bryer used his Twitter account to write the word "c--t" for all his fans and call it "art" and then, apparently according to someone at the NIN news site, he made a dick move in basically stealing his friend's idea and votes for making money for an animal shelter. Yes an animal shelter got money but he screwed over someone else to do it.

Feel free to pick up the conversations you left off on the other post.....

And for the "but it's funny" responses, if you consider wishing a man get ripped up by dogs funny, you'd probably fit in well at an MSI show.

Ugh, I never said anything about Frank getting ripped up by dogs but I wanted to cut him into pieces and feed him to stray dogs! ^_^
Please, read my comments thoroughly before quoting me, anon! Thank you!
Btw, every idiot who takes that kind of comments seriously just can't be helped. It's only my black humor and some people do know that.
It was just an expression of anger. I do that when I think that the OMG, I'm so angry now-phrase fails to express my feelings about something.
It's a way to blow off steam. I don't know, maybe it's a German thing or at least something we say in my city.
Saying things like I'm gonna rip off his/her head when you're angry at someone is a common phrase. Nobody takes it literally.
So calm down now! Your cute boys don't have to fear being slaughtered! Get over it!

Wow nearly 200 comments in one night.

If the bitching at members of the blog continues, I don't think I'll come here anymore.

We shouldn't be ripping each other to shreds.

Hello Safe, Siobhan and anons.

To my detractors yes I am back on the blog again. The one that I never leave. Now lets get some facts straight here. I didn't call you a troll because I disagree with you. I called you a troll because you came on here with the intend of shit stir. You made an attempt to do it at mayo's right after you tried to do it here.

Second everything you said was stuff you said to Amy the night I defended her. Yes defended her not got mad at her for post her rules. That was you.

Also If I didn't like Amy posting rules and I don;t like you posting comments taken from Mayo's blog that doesn't make me a hypocrite. I am still saying that I don't like things and they shouldn't be post in both situations no hyporacy there.

I just saw the 30 second preview of Desolation Row. LOL. Its ironic though that they're playing for a club of punk guys - the kind of guys that Gerard has always wanted respect from for the band, and the only way they could finally get that audience was to hire them as extras in their video. Teenagers at least was more reflective of their fanbase, this is just so fake. Gerard keeps saying the next album will be more punk, but punk is not something you force. You can see in the video they're trying way too hard and all they do is look ridiculous.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I think that those are their fans in the video. They just got wardrobe and make up to make them look punk.

Anonymous said...

Hi MJ and Anon.

Someone should tell Gerard that punks don't live in $1.4 million houses and buy their wives YSL.

Anonymous said...

Hey YSI!

i saw mikey wearing chanel glasses a while back and i was kinda disappointed in him but i didn't know why lol

Anonymous said...

God, but that video clip is embarrassing. I think the band needs to realize that it doesn't matter how much they change their style it isn't going to bring in an edgier crowd. The people they're going after are going to hear the name My Chemical Romance and then not bother to listen to the song or watch the video.

Besides, they aren't really true punk. They're just pretending to be punk, with fake black eyes and cuts to the forehead. Gerard is about as punk as he was an officer in WWII in the GOY video.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

hello ysi

Hello everyone!

When I saw the pictures of the video shoot I thought by myself that they can't even bring real punks to appear as extras for their video.
How lame is that?

Anonymous said...

Btw, every idiot who takes that kind of comments seriously just can't be helped. It's only my black humor and some people do know that.
It was just an expression of anger.

That sounds like something Jimmy Urine would say to support his own words.

MJ nothing i said to you last night has ANYTHING to do with MCR. You can try as hard as you can to make it seem like that.

It has to do with your own hypocrisy and the way you ORDER people around thinking they will just bow to your will. "Don't do this, don't say that, you're not welcome, your words aren't supposed to be here".... VV even came in and set the record straight.

You are wrong MJ but you are too stubborn to see it, it's like talking to a mule.

I'm surprised they didn't get Lynz flashing her crotch in the background of the video as that's so hxc.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

7.18 I didn't say that, that was siobhan. And I wasn't making anything you said out to have to do with MCR.

Anonymous said...

I think the extras in the video are supposed to look like the punks from that time period (the mid-eighties). Where they failed with that is in the comic, they have "knot tops" I think they call them, but no mohawk wearing punks.

And the director of the film directed the video. One more reason to cause fans of the comic to worry about the film. :(

Martha Smith-Jones said...

7.27 don't give them any ideas

Anonymous said...

They're just trying to get you to respond to them, MJ.

If you ignore them, they'll eventually go away.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

7.29 I said the same thing about the video being directed by the movie director. I already thought the movie looked bad. Than with all the hype behind it I don't think it will be good.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Shhhhhh! Gerard might hear you and get ideas.

Anonymous said...

Once MJ starts ignoring me I know it means that she has run out of bad excuses for her hypocritical behaviour.

I know she hasn't LEARNED anything from it and still thinks she's Queen Shit around here and at Mayo's, laying down the law at everyone she meets, but at least she'll stop trying to justify it with comebacks that make no sense whatsoever.

Anonymous said...

I know she hasn't LEARNED anything from it

I think that I read somewhere that Gerard had Chanel sunglasses but that they were a knock-off. Maybe Mikey inherited them?

Anonymous said...

So the video is up on itunes does that mean it has shown on MTV.

So, you only can see the preview for the video when you're in the U.S.?
I'm always asking myself why labels do such crappy stuff. Sometimes I wanted to watch music videos on the American MTV website and I wasn't able to do so due to the fact that I wasn't American and in America, respectively.
I mean, why make such fuss? I've listened to the song already so why can't I watch the video?

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I think not to many people are looking at the preview because in years past when I would go look for the new MCR video on MTV.com I couldn't get it play. It said it was busy.

You are not alone on that one Siobhan

Anonymous said...

Another thing here. I think you know that there is no such thing as an international iTunes. So, I have to buy my crap from iTunes Germany and the other day I wanted to download some song by the Scorpions (who are a German hardrock band, btw) and they didn't have it. Wtf? German iTunes doesn't have the albums of a German rock band? That's ridiculous! iTunes is crap. No wonder that so many people are downloading their stuff illegally.

Anonymous said...

You are not alone on that one Siobhan

Good to know, MJ!

Anonymous said...

I download from amazon a lot. The songs cost the same and the sound quality is better. And often they have things that iTunes doesn't.

Is that available in Germany?

I have to check that out, anon. Thanks for the tip!

It may not be itunes Siobhan. Some bands have yet to make a deal to get their work on itunes. I know Metallica held out as long as they could but they gave in

Well, the funny thing is that they have all sorts of songs from the Scorpions covered by other rock bands on iTunes and therfore I think it has nothing to do with it. They also have an old 90's album on iTunes but I have that already. They just don't have the good old songs like 'Here I am (rock you like a hurricane)' or 'Still loving you' from the band themselves. They only have those crappy covers.

Anonymous said...

I'm keeping a look out for the video on sharing comms I belong to. As soon as I find it I'll try to share with you guys.

Yeah, thanks anon!
It would be cool if you could provide us with some laughter. ^_^

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I think because it is a cover of the song they have to deal with the people who did the cover. It is some strange things. Like how if you don't want to play a lot of money for a song to use in a commercial you have someone do a cover. I think it is like that for itunes. You can't have the real artist but you can have the cover of their song.

Anonymous said...

Yes, that could be the case, MJ!

Anonymous said...

Oops, I take it back! I just watched the preview on MTV.com. I never tried to watch it before because someone came here and said that only people in the U.S. could watch it.
Well, what can I say...
Frank annoys me so much with his 'schrammel' attitude. He looks like a total idiot.
And am I the only one who thinks that they mainly used male extras to appear as their audience?
As far as I can see in that preview there are only two to three girls in the crowd.
I bet that's Gerard favorite concert scenario.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I used to belong to I think it was called download.com or something and they never had what I was looking for but they always had these shitty covers of the songs. Pissed me the fuck off. Or even worse they would only have the remix.

Gaaaaaaaaaaaah! That's exactly what happens to me with iTunes all the time. You really have to be careful that the song is not a cover or some fucking remix. When I started using iTunes for the first time I almost always downloaded cover songs or remixes. Man, I was pissed off then. The thing is that you can't listen to a part of the song just like on Amazon to reassure yourself that you will be downloading the right one.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I wasted so much money on the fucking site. I had to pay by the month and I could never find what I was looking for and if you didn't use your downloads for the month you lost them.

Anonymous said...

Haha, sorry! 'Schrammeln' is a German word. It is mostly used to describe guitar players who are only holding one or two chords with one hand the whole song and look as if they would grate cheese on their guitar very quickly with the other.
I hope I made myself clear with that example, hahahaha.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Thank you for clearing it up

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I felt the same way anon.

Anonymous said...

Ah, it's not that bad. I have to say if I wouldn't know the band I would have enjoyed watching it but since I know of their lame and desperate attempts of trying to appear hardcore it feels so forced. I had to laugh about some of those extras at the stage who were exaggerating way too much.
Even the song sounds better now while watching the video.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

For me it was that bad. I was hoping that my first impress of the video was wrong.

Also that is the kind of video where if I cross it not knowing who it was I would have turn it off.

Anonymous said...

Ray owned that video with his solo. Frank just spat water everywhere - was that really necessary. And did anyone else laugh when Gerard was arrested at the end - if that happened in real life he would be shitting himself.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I think if they had gone with MCr go to jail I would have liked the video

Anonymous said...

I thought most videos for songs from a movie have the song intercut with clips from the movie. Like Paramore's Decode. It just seems strange that it's for the Watchmen, but if you didn't know about the connection between the two it isn't obvious from the music video. Is it a way of distancing the song from the movie perhaps.

Anonymous said...

And did anyone else laugh when Gerard was arrested at the end - if that happened in real life he would be shitting himself.

Lol. Gerard's favorite fantasy is probaby being arrested. After all, you know what they do to guys like him in prison. ^_~

Anonymous said...

Well, it's a typical punk song with typical elements of a punk song in it. If this had been their debut single they would probably work as cashiers at their local Walmart now instead of putting us to sleep with their nonsense blog entries on their shitty band website.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

They have little things in the video that show up from the watchmen. I haven't read the book so all of them may not be obvious. I know the back round and the smiley face on the drums are from watchmen.

Anonymous said...

Wow, Gerard is so hardcore it's illegal.

LMFAO

Of course you don't understand because you probably didn't read Watchmen when you were fifteen, therefore it did not shape who you are today by getting you to wear anti-social clothing and become a hardcore punk. Sheesh.

LOL. ZANE Lowe.

As for the video - LAME. The only reason thoses people would be at an MCR concert it to kick the shit out of them not hear them play.

lol 2:08, I just watched the video and saw her in it, bopping up and down. I find it irritating that gerard can't do ANYTHING without incorporating Lynz somehow, which is stupid, seeing as its a band made up of FIVE people, not just him. You don't see any of the other guys wives, do you?

Anonymous said...

hi everyone
god how sickening she's always around like a bad smell. i agree with you though, the other guys have wives too.

Anonymous said...

Why did she have to be involved. She has already said that she's not into 'that shit' when asked if she liked comics. First we had MSI tainting the MCR tour and now we have her in their bloody video. Even if you wanted to continue supporting MCR and just tried to forget the whole MSI connection, you can't. They have to shove it in our face every chance they get.

resurrected wreck said...

That settles it, I am so not watching that video.

Anonymous said...

it's almost like he's trying to show her off, like some sort of prize. he probably thinks she's the ultimate woman and that everyone will be jealous of him so he shoves her in everyone's face and drops her name into every conversation.

unless he lurks around as an anon on the internet and has read so many fangirls going 'oooh she so beautiful oooh she's so talented oooh msi are amaaaazing their babies are going to look like angels!!!' he thinks everyone who likes mcr noww automatically like msi...

Anonymous said...

I didn't see her the first time I watched it until you pointed it out. *vomits* I just don't see why he had to involve her. I can just imagine the videos to their new album and the fangirls playing spot Lynz. Her band isn't that successful so she has to leach off of their success. If Gerard was a professional he would keep his private life seperate from the band, but he can't. She has to be involved in everything. If Mikey is ill again, I can just see her filling in for him.

Anonymous said...

Oh boy. It's on ONTD and there's lots of MCR hatred going on, along with the occasional fangirl comment, (although they haven't started their usual spamming yet). Give them time though and they'll be posting Frank picspams all over the damn thing.

So Lyn-Z is in the video then? I was gonna consider watching it, but after hearing about that, that gets a hell no for me.

GW can't keep his personal life and career seperate, and I find that to be a very annoying quality when it comes to band frontmen.

And honestly, I don't think Desolation Row is a great song. Heard it back in 2007 or last year at one of the My Chem concerts, and I didn't like it.

lyn-z killed the blog.

Anonymous said...

Lynz is in deed in the video. You have to see the video either on buzznet or on iTunes. The quality is much better on those two sites than the video on YouTube. YouTube is much too blurry to notice her.

If I'm not mistaken she can be seen jumping in the first row close to the stage. When they do a tight shot of Mickey's face, look to your right (she's dressed in black and next to some other chick) and you can see her jumping and being a tool. The minutes run between 1:07 to 1:09. I tried to see if there were any more shots of her but that's all I could see.

Hope this helps...

Was just at Mayo's and saw this My Mindless Chemical Self Indulgent Romance . Now that Lyndsey appears in the clip sounds like a good name for them.

Like the other anon said you can't get away from the mcr/msi connection. If the fan girls aren't going on about Gw is.

mmcsir is right

Apparently you are not allowed to give your opinion on MMCSIR at Mayo's even if you HAVE no opinion on them since Kap get yelled at for NOT saying anything.

Anonymous said...

That's kinda why Mayo's blog sucks anon. Sometimes you have to walk on eggshells when you're expressing an opinion about someone.

Earlier today though I said that I thought My Chem's version of DR sucked.

OLD EMO BAND CHANGES THEIR LINE UP TO COINSIDE WITH NEW SINGLE

By B. Bends

The Black Parade is dead! Long live MMCSIR!

After the release of their awesome new single, those pretty boys in black had something else up their sleeves, a brand new band!.

MMCSIR frontman Geehard Lay talks about their new sound. "We we aiming for a new punk vibe, really trashy, similar to great Snivelling Shits , so we worked it, and threw as much trash as we could, into it. It's strange how people's first reaction was, we sound like The Stooges."

I just saw the video on buzznet. I thought Lyn-z didn't want to be known as Mrs. Gerard Way, yet she appears in MCR's video? Awesome logic! Appear in their video, be seen jumping up and down and everyone will think you don't depend on your husband at all! THAT'S GENIUS!

Anonymous said...

Exactly ED. She's an idiot, but in all honesty, I didn't buy the "I hate being Ms. Gerard Way" logic.

I think she was only trying to draw attention to herself by pretending to bitch and whine about it.

Anonymous said...

Their video might be number one, but their single is only 89 out of 100.

Anonymous said...

Kapunua, do you mind if we steal the name Mrs Window Dressing? It's catchy.

Anonymous said...

Very few people knew or cared who she was before she started doing GW. If she had tried to flog her artwork before the marriage on ebay or her used boots they wouldn't have gone for much. Everything she has - the house, the monkey rentals, the handbags is because of her husband. And then she complains about it in kerrang. So what should she be known as - some skank who doesn't wash and flashes her crotch.

Anonymous said...

Maybe the other wives weren't punk enough to appear in the video. Because Lynz is a true punk. And if Gerard really believes that then he has no idea what punk really is.

Anonymous said...

3:26, did you see the video?! It was so lame and cleche like every other punk-rock video ever made, but this one just happened to be made 5 or 10 years after all the others! None of them have any sense of what punk is. I mean come on, the way they were caught by the police at the end- IT'S BEEN DONE!! Think up some new ideas, please.

Anonymous said...

The whole thing was artificial from the fake cuts and bruises to the fake audience. Most bands get their fans to come be in their videos, instead MCR had to hire some otherwise they would have ended up with a room full of teenage girls. Gerard keeps on about the band being more ‘punk’ as though if he says it enough times then people will actually start to believe it. I feel almost sorry for those teen girls that go on the message boards, saying how wonderful the video is, and how cute Mikey looks and OMG Lynz is in the video, she’s so beautiful and their baby is going to be so hot. Don’t they realise, Gerard doesn’t want them as fans anymore. Oh, he still wants them to buy all his bands crap, but he wants the hxc punk people. The kind of people that listen to MSI. We have always said how Lynz was using Gerard to promote her own band, but I think Gerard was very consciously also using her in order to reinforce this whole MCR is a punk band thing. Eliza had a very emo look, while Lynz does hxc things like backbends and crowd surfs while asking guys to finger her. In a way maybe its good they’re getting rid of the teenage fans, they’re the main readers of things like kerrang and the ones who vote for the silly mtv awards, once they’re done with MCR we’re stop hearing about them.

I feel like they just put Lindsey in the video to excite the fangirls.

Anonymous said...

Entertainment Weekly, the only really mainstream publication in the US who ever gives MCR the time of day was not kind about the new video. Read and smile.

Anonymous said...

Hello guys!

I think Gerard uses Lindsey to establish his new heterosexual/masculine image. He wants every single fan girl to finally realize that Lindsey is not going anywhere anytime soon and that he is not available anymore for the role as the cute teenage heartthrob. He will shove her down their throats until the choke.
I also think that nobody takes those fansheep's praises about them looking so cute together, Lindsey being so pretty, the baby being the hottest/prettiest/greatest kid in the world seriously. It's their way of not trying to sound like fan girls who are jealous and not wanting to piss of their master.

Thank-you for that anon. Finally, an honest review where they don't kiss Gerard's ass. I love how in the comments the fangirls are all up in arms about it.

From the article:
“Gerard Way and the boys are simply onstage looking like anemic, pasty-faced extras from Twilight putting one of Dylan's most beloved songs through their caffeinated emo grinder”

Best description of MCR ever.

Also, why did they get arrested in that video in the first place?
I mean, it's not that it was some secret/illegal show somewhere in an abandoned factory or something. It was a normal concert and the only ones who should have gotten arrested by the cops where the guys starting a riot in the foyer. The band wasn't even involved in that fight so why did they get arrested in the end?
That video makes absolutely no sense!

For what it's worth, I just added my comment to EW's review of Desolation Row.

I cannot adequately express how disappointed I am in Zack Snyder for directing this. Not only does it not mesh with the overall tone of Watchmen, it is possibly the most cliched attempt at representing "punk" that I have ever seen. The club, the cops, the riot, the arrests at the end... this has all been done before. Add in Gerard Way's fake black eye and split lip and what you've got here is a pop band playing Dress-Up. Never mind the fact that this band's fans are not dangerous "punks" but a horde of teenage girls.

I just hope this isn't an indication of what the film is going to be like.

I would say that the difference between Eliza and Lindsey is that at the end it got too obvious for Gerard what she really wanted from him, namely his money and bathing in his spotlight.
I bet that Lindsey used a more subtle approach by giving Gerard the feeling that it is actually him who wants to be engaged and get married (and have a baby so soon?).
It's always the best thing to give the guy the feeling as if it is him who's calling the shots and not the woman forcing him to do certain things, although in reality it is really her who's pulling the strings. Eliza just wasn't smart enough and Lindsey finally reaped the fruit of Eliza's labor.

Siobhan I was think that as well.Out of the blue the cops are on stage beating up Ray. What the hell they beat ray and the rest of the band keep playing.

Siobhan your last comment reminds me of something Dee Snider once said. When The PMRC stuff was going on in DC.

Snider made a comment about Al Gores wife getting him to hold the hearings by cuddling up to him and sticking her hands down his pants. All the while telling him what a great thing it would be for him to go after music.

They arrested them because they tortured Dylan's song.

Gerard wants to appear 'edgy' for the wife. She probably gets off on the idea of sleeping with a convict.

Anonymous said...

Getting arrested is so hxc and punk. At least it is if you're 12 or your name is Gerard.

Just like I said before, if I wouldn't know MCR and had watched that video, I wouldn't have that much of a problem with it but since I know them and since I know how Gerard appeared at the beginning of their success, it's somehow painful to watch.
He is all attitude in that video. He looks so arrogant and full of himself. I can really see it at the beginning of the video, when they show his face for the first time. His facial expression speaks volumes to me. Yeah, I know that you all want me. I know that those fan girls want to see me naked, fuck me, suck my dick, have my babies and worship the ground I'm walking on. I'm da shit! And I'm aware of that. I know that. I'm so cool and I look so cool...
It's disgusting!

So is running away and getting engaged and married after a few months of knowing each other.
It's so romantic, it's so hardcore, it's so punk too!

I wonder what Alan Moore would think if he saw that awful video. I doubt he ever will, but I couldn't see him being too impressed. He would see MCR for what they really are.

Unfortunately, it won't stop the fan girls from buying it and also downloading the video on iTunes.

Hi there RW *squeeze* Siobhan.

About the DR video, watching some of the clips, I was kinda wondering: What the hell does the 'punk' vibe of it has to do with the Watchmen movie?
