".... I've become hateful towards all humans in general....."

Maybe I should have titled this "douchebag disease is contagious"....

Bob Bryer used his Twitter account to write the word "c--t" for all his fans and call it "art" and then, apparently according to someone at the NIN news site, he made a dick move in basically stealing his friend's idea and votes for making money for an animal shelter. Yes an animal shelter got money but he screwed over someone else to do it.

Feel free to pick up the conversations you left off on the other post.....

LOL! You can hear Frank say "Oh, shit"

Lol @ the chicken dance. It's at the very end of the clip (around 35 seconds). I have to watch without sound.

Well, if the rockstar/comic book stuff doesn't work out, Gerard can always be a circus clown. He's always good for a laugh.

Anonymous said...

And isn't it funny how some little boys from Germany (Tokio Hotel) kicked their asses onstage?
I mean, their music is not my cup of tea but their performance was really something to watch and made Gerard look like an old fart who is in big need of some Bengay.

I know this is late but their lead singer (Tokio Hotel) is something FIERCE lol. I agree their performance was really good in comparison to gerards mini meltdown onstage.

Anonymous said...

I don't think MCR has done a decent live performance in a long, long time.

Gerard has only been going through the motions since about halfway through the Black Parade tour. They should have taken their "break" a long time ago.

I don't think it's possible for them to get their edge back at this point. They're over.

^this.

he was terrible at the pro rev i went to. his voice sounded terrible and he was so cocky he made me sick. none of the guys interacted with each other at all and nobody smiled even once. at least taking back sunday was good or i would of wanted my money back.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Most of the interact at the show I went to not a Pr show was them getting cigarettes off each other.

Anonymous said...

i saw them in october of 2005 and they were so different. gerard was happy and smiling and he talked to the other guys in the band and he talked to us fans instead of at us. the guys all seemed happy.

at pro rev they all looked miserable. ray never looked up once and frank barely moved around at all. i wondered at first if he was sick, but all of the guys were acting weird. the only one who seemed to be into the performance was matt cortez. gerard was only into himself.

Anonymous said...

also gerard did that chicken dance thing at my pro rev but he only did it half assed. everything he did that day seemed half assed except for prancing about on stage like a rooster in a hen house.

hi everyone! i enjoy reading all the varied opinions.

martha, hope you are still enjoying the j-rock!

Good Morning, people!

My God, Gerard is such a copycat!

But to be honest, I didn't enjoy Billie Joe's stage antics, either. Did he sniff at his hand after he took it out of his pants? Yuck!

Gerard's chicken dance is quite funny but that other 'thing' in the 'I'm not okay' video was weird. Was he channeling James Brown?
Also, did you read the comments to that video? There is some poor deluded sod that says that That is the best thing I've seen in my entire life
For your own sake, I hope that's not true, moron!

Am I the only one who thinks of 'The Crow' when they see Gerard's first attempt in making a comic?

Anonymous said...

Fisch, did you see the blonde woman sat next to him with the hideous black and white sweater? That's his mum. Of course, she was a lot younger then, but it's her.

I think she's like Gerard. SHe changes her stle to suit her current life situation. How else would she go from baggy sweaters to leather pant? I think Gerard inhereted it from her.

Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those were my thoughts, exactly, Elfe!
I thought Nah, that can't be her next to him. She looks like a normal housewife who bakes cookies for her kids. What happened that made her change her looks?
I mean, we all know that article in which she sits on that piano and looks like the crypt keeper with deadly finger nails from hell. And what makes a grown woman change her style from nice housewife to chucky's bride?
I think you're on to something, Elfe, when you say that we might know where Gerard has his Borg-attitude from.

no wonder why "gerry" is a chameleon

Hello fellow bloggers,MJ, anons, hope everybody is good!

Isn't it weird that everyone here says that Gerard was still nice in 2005 and that he had completely changed at PR?
Can it be, that after four years in the spotlight, success suddenly got to his head? I find that somehow unlikely. Wouldn't he have started behaving like a diva right from the start? When he realized that they had become famous and not a few years later?
What happened that made him change his attitude so much?
I sometimes think that it doesn't have anything to do with the band but more with his private life.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Hello Tl

Siobhan I think it was something in his private life as well that caused the change.

Anonymous said...

Hi Everyone.

What happened that made him change his attitude so much?

He went from low self-esteem to an over feed ego.

I sometimes think that it doesn't have anything to do with the band but more with his private life.

Screaming fans thinking you're hot and wanting to fuck you, label bosses telling you how great you, magazines and TV interviews giving you praise - I think anyone would start to believe they were great after having all that forced on you.

Plus, nobody ever though Gerard was that special, especially females, before all of this. Of course it went to his head, he'd never had it before.

URK! I'm defending him. Gross.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

But safe he seemed to be handling everything pretty well until problems in his personal life started up.

Anonymous said...

Hi everyone.

What happened that made him change his attitude so much?

Honestly I think the guy has mental problems. Like really big, major mental health problems.

I had a friend on lj who swears he acts just like her dad who had extreme bipolar disorder. He would go completely schizo if he let himself drink or do drugs. He would get sober and then fall off the wagon over and over.

Her dad would also go from relationship to relationship very quickly and every new woman was 'the woman' for him. She was so special and then he would wake up one day and realize she wasn't. Then he would move on to somebody else.

My friends dad finally got so bad he killed himself a few years ago. I admit I was really worried about Gerard doing the same thing when I first came to this blog.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

4.18 I have always thought if it was drugs and alcohol it was some mental disorder

Anonymous said...

It has always bothered me how different Gerard can seem from interview to interview. People call him a chameleon but I think maybe his brain chemistry is just all over the place. And I think he uses drugs, alcohol, women and even fame to self-medicate for his mental health issues.

Anonymous said...

I thought he was really angry throughout the whole PR tour.

Anonymous said...

I thought he was really angry throughout the whole PR tour.

Yes, he did seem angry and it seemed to effect the whole band.

I remember thinking that if he was so much 'in love' then why was he acting so pissed off?

Maybe the other guys in the band were worried about him and they were telling him to take things slower with Lindsey. Or maybe he was just angry because his mind was fucked. Who knows.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

In LOTMS he said he was self medication. Than in a an interview right after he got with Lindsey he was talking about how the drugs that he took for his depression were not helping him and causing all these problems for him.

But it wasn't the medication it was himself medicating himself. That caused the problems alcohol and drugs any kind don't mix. I also think that he thought if he had the mental issues taking care of every thing else would have just fallen into place and be perfect. When it wasn't he couldn't deal.

Anonymous said...

That whole 'Tom Cruise mental illness isn't real, you don't need meds, just pull yourself up by the bootstraps' mentality just doesn't work.

Mikey has mental issues and he got help when he was recording The Black Parade. Later he had a breakdown on the road (honeymoon my ass) and had to take time off.

Gerard saying he didn't need medication that his doctor prescribed for him seemed damned arrogant to me. Like he knows better than his doctor. I think he thinks he can fix all the things that are wrong with stuff like fame, a relationship, buying a bunch of worthless shit, yadda yadda.

Anonymous said...

Even if the other guys in the band were telling him to take things slower, why get so upset? They used to seem like a tight group that listened to each other.

Anonymous said...

Even if the other guys in the band were telling him to take things slower, why get so upset?

Gerard seems to me like the kind of guy who gets really pissed off when people try to tell him what to do. If the other guys were telling him to take things slower, I can see that having the opposite effect and causing him to rush into marriage.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

If the guys in the band were telling to take it slow it might have upset him because he was feeling like people thought he was a child who couldn't think for himself.

Anonymous said...

I think it was The Black Parade that fucked him. I don't think he was ready for his fanbase to swell like that.

Honestly I think the guy has mental problems. Like really big, major mental health problems.
No doubt. Mikey has them, why not him? He has an addictive personality for sure, so he's probably got a lot more going on.

And I think he uses drugs, alcohol, women and even fame to self-medicate for his mental health issues.
I think he uses them as an excuse not to deal with his problems. He uses different things/people to coast through life.

I thought he was really angry throughout the whole PR tour.
I though he was trying to be more aggresive, hence more manly for Lindsey.

Maybe the other guys in the band were worried about him and they were telling him to take things slower with Lindsey. Or maybe he was just angry because his mind was fucked. Who knows.
I thought he was getting pressure from the band and lable too. But he's gone back to writing angry songs, even though he's "so in love." I really don't understand how he can get love and anger so confused, unless he's never left love because EVERYONE has felt anger.

Anonymous said...

Gerard seems to me like the kind of guy who gets really pissed off when people try to tell him what to do. If the other guys were telling him to take things slower, I can see that having the opposite effect and causing him to rush into marriage.

Then he would also be the kind of guy that would probably stay in a crappy marriage to prove to everyone how wrong they were. That's most likely where the "I love my wife" came from.

Yes and now there's a baby involved. I have to say this whole thing just seems like a big ol' mess that's not going to get sorted out anytime soon. I just feel sorry for the kid.

Anonymous said...

I can see Gerard becoming all passive-aggressive and not ending the marriage, but never being around for Lindsey or the baby. I think that's one of the reasons why all of a sudden they're rushing into making a new record when they said they were taking a 'long break'.

If he's not around for them then maybe Lindsey will end the marriage and he can play the victim and get sympathy from everyone. And Lindsey will be perceived as the villain.

Anonymous said...

I originally thought the pregnancy was an accident because of her tour commitments, but lately I get the feeling she could have wanted the baby to hold on to him. He hasn't said a word about it.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I know! WTF? Gerard's a recovering alcoholic and he hooks up with a woman like that? And fangirls don't even consider the possibility that he could have started drinking again? How blind can they be?

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I don't know about that. The whole child support thing. There is a chance that if they were to divorce that she wouldn't get the child.

All that would have to be done is show that she is unfit to raise the child. Look at Britney and K-fed. He isn't really any better than Britney. He just wasn't acting out.

Gerard looked stoned out of his head. Especially in that extreme close-up. His eyes look almost glazed over. Either he hasn't been getting any sleep at all or he was on something.

I'm not too sure about that. She may look tough and more manly than him, but I don't think she is that tough emotionally. This is a woman who whines about what fans think of her. If they do split up she should do well if there was no pre-nup, like everyone seems to think.

Anonymous said...

About Lindsey being tough there was a woman who claimed to be friends with Lindsy's sister who was over at BN talking about her.

She said that Lindsay didn't have a father and how her mother wasn't at the wedding. I think Lindsey has some big issues of her own. Just seeing that picture of her with the banana guys reinforces that.

Regarding the fact that Gerard hasn't said anything about the baby, does anyone else think that's why he hasn't been doing any interviews, apart from TUA related ones?

Like on xFM, they had Ray talking to the interviewer. They never send Ray out for interviews. I think it's because Gerard doesn't want to be asked about the baby.

I'm sure their publicists tell the interviewers what questions they can't ask, so I don't think it's about the baby.

Anonymous said...

I'm sure a lot of fans are saying that Gerard is just 'being protective' by not talking about the baby. Which is what they said when he wouldn't talk about Eliza too.

If that's how he operates, then you'd think he would have been more 'protective' of Lindsey in the beginning of their relationship as well.

I think he's not talking about the baby because he doesn't really want it.

Anonymous said...

I'm sure their publicists tell the interviewers what questions they can't ask, so I don't think it's about the baby.

That doesn't always work. Like when Gerard was asked in that interview about "the ring". People who work for radio stations and tv are notorious for springing questions that celebrities don't want to answer.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Apparently it wasn't.

I don't think that GE doesn't want the baby I think he is scared that he won't be a good father.

I'm sure their publicists tell the interviewers what questions they can't ask, so I don't think it's about the baby.

But wouldn't fans question why they didn't ask about the baby? Especially when that's what they all want to hear about.

Anonymous said...

I think he's not talking about the baby because he doesn't really want it.

If someone doesn't talk about a baby it doesn't mean he doesn't want it. He could be getting used to the idea himself. No one really knows if he wants to be a father or not, but I'm guessing if he didn't they would have used proper contraception.

"Someday" is a far cry from right now, one year into the marriage when one parent is under pressure to get a new album out and the other is right in the middle of a tour.

And I honestly don't think everyone goes into marriage thinking they'll have children one day. I know lots of people who don't want children yet they still get married.

The video for DR will be available on itunes tomorrow. Now they want people to pay to see the video as well.

Hahahahahaha! Yeah. That's going to happen.

*goes to look for tallicadude37's post on lj*

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Someone worked hard on that video to make it look like someone else video so if you steal it, You would be stealing it from that hard working person. Who stole the idea from someone else.

Anonymous said...

Hi MJ and anons!

From what you said, MJ, the video reminds me of Silverchair's 'Anthem for the year 2000.
I don't know, I just had that association when I heard that with the cops and the punks.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Well i can't say for sure but the MCR video seems to be more about people not giving a shit and destorying stuff. While Silverchair's 'Anthem for the year 2000 seems to be more about protesting the lies our leaders are feeding us.

Anonymous said...

I don't think the video fits with Watchmen at all. Although there is a lot of violence in the comic, it seems to me that the underlying theme is a criticism of apathy more so than just condemning senseless violence.

I would have expected something a bit more dark and brooding, not unlike the songs that Alan Moore chose to put at the end of the chapters. And he didn't put in lyrics from punk songs.

But you know. I didn't read the comic when I was fifteen and it didn't "shape who I am" today, so what do I know?

Anonymous said...

I also don't wear "antisocial clothing" so I couldn't possibly be a real Watchmen fan.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

The person who directed the DR video is the director for the movie as well. If that is his vision for the video for the song than what will the movie be like

Martha Smith-Jones said...

According to some of the fan sheep if you don't like that MCR is doing this song for the movie you only just became a fan of watchmen.

Anonymous said...

My God, I can't escape the feeling that this Watchmen or Rorschach(sp?) stuff sounds so familiar to me?
Since when are MCR involved in this?

Anonymous said...

I also don't wear "antisocial clothing" so I couldn't possibly be a real Watchmen fan.

Yeah, that really belonged to the 'most stupid statements Gerard could have made' category.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

There was interview posted on Bn a while back where GW said he really identified with Rorschach that may have been where you heard it before.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I'll be right back

Anonymous said...

There was interview posted on Bn a while back where GW said he really identified with Rorschach that may have been where you heard it before.

Exactly! That was it. Thank you, MJ!

Anonymous said...

Gerard identifies with Rorschach? Really? Because he's so uncompromising I suppose? He'd rather die than go against his values, right? Yeah, right.

Oh and I suppose he's a total badass like Rorschach too.

Puh-lease.

Anonymous said...

Or maybe he identifies with Rorschach because his mother was a prostitute who beat him and treated him horribly?

Anonymous said...

Just in

Keen eyes should already be able to pick out a few nods to the "Watchmen" film in the video — check the smiley face on drummer Bob Bryar's kit, and the massive Rorschach symbol the band performs in front of — but according to Way, the tie-in doesn't end there. When we spoke to him a few months back, he revealed that the song now plays a huge part in Snyder's much-discussed new ending to the film.

"I don't want to say too much, but as far as the placement right now it's integral to the ending of the film," Way said. "And that gave me goose bumps, and not because we did the song, but because it works that well, I feel."

As for the song itself, it keeps in line with the "fast and loose" ethos MCR have adopted for their still-in-the-works new album, one that Way says is going to shock a lot of longtime fans.

"Well, it was interesting, because it's punk but not in a modern punk sense. We really went for that Sex Pistols-type sound. Some people that I've played for, their first reaction was that it's British, it almost sounds like Slade," he explained. "So that was really interesting — I guess we're never really going to shake some of that British glam. But [especially on 'Desolation Row'] we're going for that Sex Pistols-type sound. In fact, when we did the guitars, we brought in Marshall heads and '50s Les Paul customs. So basically, relative things set up as the Pistols to get that sound. And the mixing was done accordingly as well. It's very distorted and it's very trashy."

What a dope. Inspired by the wife no doubt.

Bloody, bleeding hell. If the song actually appears in the film, I kid you not, people will probably be getting up and walking out of the theatre. Especially the ones who aren't terribly thrilled that the ending is going to be different from the comic anyway.

Anonymous said...

What longtime fans? Was he high or something?

I always figured that Jimmy piss-pot was channeling Johnny Rotten and I bet that Gerard secretly compares his wifey's band with the Sex Pistols and wants to emulate them.

Anonymous said...

Well, the brainwashed dipshits who think the band can do no wrong will eat the new record up no matter what.

Anonymous said...

Somehow I can't see the Black Parade kiddies whose parents took them to shows being all that thrilled with a "Sex Pistols" sound. They're going to want "I am not afraid to keep on living". After all, Johnny Rotten never saved anyone's life.

Anonymous said...

Do they really think that they're going to be taken seriously by the people out there by constantly changing their style and image?
Now, we're this and then we will be that and after that we will be something totaly different!
A band who's changing their concept and music style with every album only shows that they just don't know who they are and will most likely be seen by others as a band who is trying to jump on as many bandwagons as they can to appeal to as many people as they can to earn money.
That won't give them rock credibility. That will only expose them to ridicule.

Anonymous said...

That will only expose them to ridicule.

And like they don't already get enough ridicule. They must be suckers for punishment.

It doesn't matter what they do, they'll still get bottles at festivals.

Anonymous said...

*bottled

Anonymous said...

Yep! The weird thing is, when I watched those videos yesterday in which they got bottled, I read the comments and I got the feeling that most of them didn't like them because they think they're gay.
I think all that snogging with Frank onstage was too much for the hardcore male audience Gerard is so desperately trying to please nowadays.
Plain-spoken, I think his homophile stage antics is what broke his neck at the end.
People want you to be politically correct but they don't want to have to think that you're one of them, you know?

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Hello everyone.

I don't think it was the kissing of Frank that did them in it's all the female fans and all the merchandise that caters to them.

If people think that you are a boy band you will be labeled as gay no matter what you.

lets not forget that most of their fans are from the Hot topic crowd.

Anonymous said...

I've heard a lot of male rock fans complaining about MCR because they think the "gay" gimmick is stupid, as in the band knows the fangirls will go nuts if they kiss so thats why they do it, and it pisses some people off. People dont want to go to a show that is faked and done to satisfy a bunch of screaming girls.

Anonymous said...

I've always wondered what Hot Topic is exactly. I'm not in the US and I always hear people mentioning it. I gather its some kind of store that sells band merch and caters to fangirls? Is that right.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Hot topic is a store in American malls that sell a lot of thinks that goths and anime fans might be into. Kind of like an underground style but most of the people that shop there are consider wannabes.

The smart kid all of a sudden want s to be goth s/he goes to hot topic to buy the clothes.

It is Gap but for wanna be goths

Anonymous said...

^ Thank-you MJ. I was just curious what it was.

Anonymous said...

I don't think that it was the merch. Just like I said here before, I went to that Slayer website before Christmas and they were selling christmas-tree balls and they also sell baby clothing. HA!
Many rock bands have young girls as fans but it's another thing if the male fans think that those band members are actually interested in having sex with those girls and not with their singer/guitar player.
And it also doesn't help when you finally swank about your girlfriend/fiancée/wife after all those years of wearing makeup, feather boas and kissing other dudes onstage. They will still think you're gay.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

No still don't think it is the kiss or just the kissing like the other anon said a lot of people see it as being done for the fan girls and don't like that it is an act to get the fan girls going.

Judas Priest's lead singer is gay and he told the press once that a good number of their songs are about his lovers. People didn't seem to care.

I think it is the pandering to the fan girls

Anonymous said...

Did they know that he was gay from the start or did he out himself after he started his other band 'Fight'?
However, male rock bands hate MCR and that's a fact.

Anonymous said...

I think its also to do with the whole emo thing. Whether the band like it or not they are percieved as an emo band and thus a lot of rock fans will never take them seriously.

Anonymous said...

I know she's not, but I would love it if Lindsey took a shit on Jimmy's leg.

Anonymous said...

Gay or not, Rob Halford looks like a tough dude, not some cupcake like Gerard. Also, he had already made his reputation as the singer in a metal band before he came out of the closet. I think that has a lot to do with it.

Gerard had the emo-boy cupcake image almost from the beginning so a lot of guys never gave MCR a chance and those that did were pretty quickly driven away by the fangirls.

Anonymous said...

What a dope. Inspired by the wife no doubt.

Gerard said say she was the inspiration. Did you not read the last two words of the article? It says "very trashy."

Anonymous said...

I meant male fans, ahhaha.

Oh God, my brain is already sleeping. Sorry!
I'm tired.

Anonymous said...

Oh! I just figured out why Gerard relates to Rorschach. Throughout the comic people are always talking about the way the guy smells.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

He came out.

It's male rock fans that hate MCR not all rock bands hate MCR I think out side of the few that have said something most don't even give them a second thought.

Rob Halford never looked tough to me, James Hatfield on the other hand looked like a bouncer from a bar.

I think you are right anon about the cup cake thing it is all in the image and when people see GW they think EMO.

Anonymous said...

LOL!

I know she's not, but I would love it if Lindsey took a shit on Jimmy's leg.

I think it's so funny that they all look as if they got stuck in the 90's regarding their clothes and hair style.
They look like some trashy 90's house/rave band.

Anonymous said...

Hahaha! Sorry I'm late, but that cracked me up, MJ. :)

I think Ju would love it too if she took a shit on his leg. You know it would make him hxc.

How funny. I heard Elena say over and over again that she never comes here, therefore she could never be any of the anons.

Because she never ever comes here. She said why would she come here to read this when she knows she's going to disagree with it.

I guess something changed.

Yeh right.

Did she do that? Can't remember!
Did I say something about Gerard or Mayo?

Siobhan perhaps you could go pull the wings of some flies for a moment. You know honey go find something else to get your kicks from and leave these wonderful, supportive people alone.

As for Frank's interview - There never has been anything Frank wouldn't do for Gerard. Nuff said!

Please all keep the faith. It can't be taken away by you. It can only be lost by your own doing.

Okay, is she somehow related to Frank? Or Gerard? Or is she just psychic?

Please all keep the faith. It can't be taken away by you. It can only be lost by your own doing.

Keep the faith in what? Is Mayo's a church?

Yes. It is the Church of Gerard.

First off, I'm not leaving until someone makes me.

Second, Siobhan, you can go fuck yourself. You're probably someone who watches an orphanage burn down and laughs. Glad you're enjoying our torment.

Third, now that my anger has cooled off a little bit, I can speak more rationally.

In defense of my fellow posters, we ARE an intelligent, wise, patient, understanding group of people. We are not gullible. We are strong. We love our boys, and we will defend them as best we can.

It has been rough waters trying to be optimistic and supportive at times, admittedly. This bit of crap this morning has really hit hard, on everyone. L is still crying.

Now Frank's giving this bizarre endorsement of the cretinous bunch of mongrels called MSI. Yes, I'm angry with him for this. On one hand, he's got to be "political" and say, "Yeah, they're rad" in front of the press and the band itself. BUT. The over-the-top, almost gleeful-sounding "cheer" he gave for them makes me nauseous.

Franky, DO YOU HEAR ME?

Don't lose your balls on this one, baby. Believe me, I know how to glad-hand officials. I worked with doctors for years. Talk about shoveling shit. There is ALWAYS a way to make your words sound convincing and still get your point across without sucking up.

I'm still waiting for a response from you, SS. Don't put me off without one. I'll come to you and get it if I have to. If neither you nor Mayo show up later to address this, then I will assume you guys never really cared. And that will be the answer.

Don't know when L will feel like talking again, but don't worry, I'll be here. Someone I know fairly well said this recently, and I plan to stick by it:

Always believe.

Never give up.

J.

SS,

How could anyone ask you to put yourself in this position? If you were forced to choose "the lesser of two evils", what was the alternative?

Who on this planet would pressure you enough to make you lie like that?

Maybe I already know.

Precious, this situation is getting out of hand. You need to put a stop to it.

L says, "I do not judge you, but my heart still breaks. For all of us."

Baby, I love you with all I have. Get back in the fight and stand up for yourself! Don't be a doormat. Don't be somebody else's whipping boy. You are a strong, brave man. Do it for yourself. Do it for Mayo.

DO IT FOR ME.

Love always.

I don't know what I should find creepier now? That Elena wrote that silly rant or that you seem to collect such old comments from Mayo's, anon?
Or where did you get that from?

Well, I do remember that we had a few fights about Mayo, Gerard and Frankenstein. I have my opinion and she has hers.

Anonymous said...

Jesus. Can we please keep those psycho bitches off of this blog, please?

The fact that they think Mayo and SS are Gerard and Frank and that they actually talk to them scares me.

FRANK IERO (MCR,guitar) "I love them! We had the pleasure of opening for them a few years back in NYC, and it's great to be back on the road with such a rad bunch of people years later. They are an extremely inventive band and really fun to watch live. There is no other band out there like them, and they've been at it on their own for years. Younger bands could learn a lot from their work ethic."

I don't know if I can even put into words how I am feeling right now. I am truly crying as I write this. I never, ever thought I would see these words in print. It is one thing to have to go along with the rest to keep from causing trouble, but to sound so enthusiastic, so endorsing, I...I just don't know what to say.

I think I mentioned earlier that I nannied for twins that we're sexually abused from birth to three years old. I have seen the results of that and it makes you sick to your stomach to know that anyone would write such foul and rancid lyrics concerning a subject of this magnitude.

And to see Frank fall to this...

I have always respected Frank for never backing down from his beliefs, for always finding a way to sneak in what he really thought, or just not saying anything at all if he couldn't agree. This just tears my fucking heart out.

I don't think I can be on this blog either, at least not for a while. I'm too disappointed, too hurt, too confused.

I still love you, Frank, with all of my heart, but I cannot begin to tell you how devestaed I am from these words.

Gerard, I love you too, always will. That does not change. But it's getting harder and harder to look you in the eyes, and damn sure hard to keep the faith.

"If I'm so wrong, how can you listen all night long,
Now will it matter, after I'm gone,
Because you never learned a G.D. thing..."

I'm gone.

Love to all of the friends I have made on here, to Mayo and SS, and I hope one day I will return.

SS, if you are reading, please give us something to believe in. Good luck to you, and I'm so sorry.
