Damn... 2016 has been nasty. David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Lemmy Kilmister, Phife Dawg, Garry Shandling, Frank Sinatra Jr, Glenn Frey, Keith Emerson...
Alan Rickman hit me the hardest. But there have been many celebrity deaths this year and it seems like more than normal for only 3 (almost 4) months in.
Aside from that I hope everyone is doing really well. And I hope this year gets better.
2016 needs to stop acting this way!

I'm not a pessimist by nature, but I feel so angry this morning.
I feel that a hopeful future has been taken away from our children and their children.
This crazy world just got a bit crazier.
I make it a conscious decision to channel my anger in a positive way.
I'm a realist: I accept that under the right environment and circumstances people are capable of almost anything, so it's imperative to be aware of this trait in ourselves and important to help each other and the disadvantaged.
