Recently we've had some trouble with a troll from a certain other blog, and people have been asking me to disable anon comments or install a tracker. I haven't even had a tracker or disabled anons. Anons are an important part of this blog because not everyone wants to use a name. And I try to respect everyone's privacy so I really don't want to use a tracker.
I think we need to ignore trolls from that blog. We have faced worse trolls before, from BN and other places such as that. Places like that are mostly the same, BN, 4Chan, that other blog, and they churn out mostly the same kind of people. When you ignore them they go away.
The "I think you're bothering someone I know" ploy is lame and probably false. If their blog is having a problem, then it's not our fault or our problem. That place has always been a train-wreck, all of a sudden someone wants to blame it on the folks here.

There was a girl on lj who used to follow MCR all over Europe. I don't remember her username, but she used to post lots of pics of herself and the band together. She must not have had a job because she would just drop everything and go to every single show they did for weeks on end.
Eventually she got too touchy feely with some of the band members and got banned from MCR concerts for life.

I don't quite believe the Gerard is in rehab rumour simply because that is the story from years ago, that he gave about coming home from Japan and having a melt down. It sounds like someone heard about their movie (forget what it was called) and jsut rehashed that story as being from now.
I do believe Gerard to still be drinking alcohol, in fact I think he never quit. But that story is old and I don't think it pertains to now.
Sorry but Gerard is not "together" enough to have a real breakdown. He's not deep enough. He fakes everything. You need to actuall feel things to have a revelation and decide to go to rehab. I don't think he knows how much of a problem he has, how soulless he is.

I agree, the Japan story is from LOTMS. I didn't believe it then, however. I thought they told the story for added drama.

Personally, and this is just my opinion, no proof, I don't think Gerard has fell off the wagon. I don't think he pops pills either. I do think he smokes wacky backy or weed, or other stuff that you mix in cigarettes, as you can tell I'm not genned up on this stuff!
As for DimZ tattoos, one or two in strategic places are fine, but I think on stomach and legs are awful, and the sleeve thing with a skull and chicken are hideous!

For the people earlier wondering about the Ian Watkins/Jared Leto thing, basically Watkins told Kerrang that Lostprophets had a bigger struggle putting their album out compared to 30stm's more publicised problems. (They were sued by their record company for $X million, I forget how much exactly but I wanna say 30?) He basically said Leto saying he had been to hell and back made him angry, that Lostprophets had nothing to fall back on if their album failed or didn't come out. For those who don't know, they had to push back their release date by 3 years and scrap a whole albums worth of material due to production problems/them not feeling it was right.
I love Lostprophets and The Betrayed is a good album but it's a shame he had to belittle 30STM, I feel he could have got his point across without that.

The situation that was described about Lostprophets sounds a lot like the situation with the MCR album. It's been nearly a year and a half since they went into the studio with the thing and they're talking a fall release? That's nearly the same as starting from scratch. They started recording TBP in April for a fall release, right?
I think the label sent them back into the studio after they previewed the record to some magazines and company execs who told them it just wasn't commercial enough (or was complete crap, like we've all been saying) and they had to go back to the drawing board.
Who knows what the NuShit (Goddammit) will sound like? It wouldn't surprise me if the label tells them no again.
Gerard is not the most stable person on the planet. Wearing your wife's stupid little pins on your falling apart jacket doesn't make him seem any more so to me. It makes him seem like an emotional infant who isn't ready to grow up even though he's in his mid-thirties.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if he had some kind of breakdown in the face of all the problems he's having with the record. If this thing fails, he could very well blame it all on Lindsey, Bandit, Married Life, TUA, the stock market, LA, Bob, his current hairdresser, his Trans-Am... anything but himself.

The Used is on Warner, but Bert did say in a recent interview that the band was considering going independent once their contract was up. I don't think Warner has been doing very much to promote them.
IMO, Warner has made some really bad decisions as of late. They've responded to the downturn in CD sales in all the wrong ways and have only succeeded in pissing fans off.
I didn't see Warner promoting TBS's latest release either.

Green Day's done as much as possible to push American Idiot on Broadway, and becuase of it they've broken records, first in Berkley when they first started it and now on Broadway... it made over 777,000 dollars last week and then over 400,000 when it was in previews! As far as i know Warner hasn't done much for their new album 21st, or even American Idiot...
