There were a lot of rumors way back when that, despite Mikey's innocent-looking appearance, he was the most accessible one of the members to groupies. He was always the most sociable and went through several girlfriends during the band's history (unlike the others who were with the same girl since before the band formed). Also, there was all the Mikey/Pete Wentz and Mikey/heyChris speculation. Then there were the drugs and booze. He used to be so wasted at shows it was a miracle the guy could stand onstage.
So, of all the guys in the band, Mikey was the one who was thought of as having a generally loose set of morals. Hence, the term manwhore.
It's worth clarifying that the band didn't really engage in 'partying' with groupies, i.e. fans that followed them around on tour.
They slept with people who worked in the business, be that merch girls, techs (see Alicia), or stylists and wardrobe people (see Eliza).
Those girls were considered 'above' groupies and would also help the band hold true to their ' we don't fuck fans' stance. They were also less likely to run their mouth about hooking up with band guys if they wanted to keep their jobs.
In short, Mikey is know to have worked his way around several 'professionals' while on tour, and the fact that he had a girlfriend didn't really matter, either.

Well, in the old days, they didn't have the fancy buses or large dressing rooms. It wasn't as easy to get some privacy.

I'm not 7:37 or 8:00 (I was 7:11), but I do have a friend who worked as a merch girl on Warped 04 and she told me that Frank did sleep with a girl on that tour. She said he was very drunk when it happened and afterwards he didn't even acknowledge the girl's existence.
At the time, I thought maybe the girl he "slept" with was just making it up because I believed in Nice Guy Frank, but now I'm not so sure.

Regardless, the thing that disturbed me the most about that story was that Frank wouldn't even acknowledge the girl afterwards. I didn't know about this place until the people on Buzznet started talking about it. I wish I had never read any of this but once I started, I couldn't stop. Now I'm beginning to see the band in a completely different light than I ever did before and it hurts because I feel like I've lost something.

I mean, he has been so consumed with the recording process and the baby that he wasn't showering for days and going around with baby puke on his shirt. Come on! It's not like that's normal behavior for a new father. Other people manage to hold down an job and be new parents without looking and acting like they're having a complete breakdown.
Here in a few months he's going to have to deal with promoting the new record, touring, writing his new comic, and dealing with finding a director for the UA film. And Bandit isn't going to disappear. He's still going to have a kid in diapers.

Regarding Susan, I think Lindsey's going to be doing all the work when MCR starts touring again, if not then a nanny. But I really don't know if they can afford one; they should seriously start pacing themselves on spending the MCR money. Okay, I have this theory that Gerard really is gay and that he was convinced that Bert was gay too whereas Bert was only experimenting or at least not that much into men that he would like to have a constant relationship with one but only casual sex here and then.
I think that they both had sex in one way or another (just oral or even intercourse) most likely when Gerard was so drunk that he could let go of his inhibitions but that Bert finally decided that he would rather have a relationship with a woman which made Gerard feel insecure and ashamed of his feelings. I would say that he then decided to break up the friendship and have a relationship with a woman as well to convince himself and Bert that he isn't gay either and was just bi-curious too.
I also think that Gerard is with Lindsey for image reasons. I guess that he was afraid to finally end up as the only one in the band who doesn't have a wife and in his eyes that would have validated people's views that he's the gay one in MCR and therefore he had to find someone really quickly.
Not some random hairdresser who has a reputation of being the band mattress at rock music festivals but an 'equally tortured artiste' like him who would create a lot more media buzz for him and his work (band & comic) everytime either of them gets interviewed.

I think Gerard is gay too. Even when i liked this band i always thought he was. I got into them when i saw Helena so i looked them up on youtube. I watched some of their interviews and i thought to myself, Oh ,he's gay. It didn't matter to me that he was, i was still a fan.
