".... I've become hateful towards all humans in general....."

Maybe I should have titled this "douchebag disease is contagious"....

Bob Bryer used his Twitter account to write the word "c--t" for all his fans and call it "art" and then, apparently according to someone at the NIN news site, he made a dick move in basically stealing his friend's idea and votes for making money for an animal shelter. Yes an animal shelter got money but he screwed over someone else to do it.

Feel free to pick up the conversations you left off on the other post.....

Nothing new there then. You're as bad as me. LMAO. Love ya!

Thanks, anon!

Am I stupid? I can't find that picture. What do you mean? There are so many pictures on their site. I'm a bit confused, hahaha.

My friends are taking me here It's my favourite Indian restaurant in Toronto.

Looks nice. That "buffet" thing looked even better.

Anonymous said...

Friend my ass. He already admitted in his "Don't hate Alicia" rant that they surf fan sites ect.

Yeah, I can't believe they tried to pull that "We don't use the internet, we barely even know what it IS!" bullshit for so long.

And what was with Gerard saying the internet didn't exist in that one interview? What a loon.

Anonymous said...

Does anybody remember 'Mini-MCR'? Those were really good. I think the person who did it just stopped, though. Maybe she got fed up with the band as well.

resurrected wreck said...

Go here, Siobhan, and click on the link by his "One of my friends found this on the web..." comment.

Anonymous said...

I linked to it at 11:15, Siobhan.

The buffet is only at lunch, so we'll probably end up having to order a la carte, but that's fine too. Everything they have is yummy!

Martha Smith-Jones said...

From what I remember the person who did Mini MCR was just to busy to keep up with it.

Anonymous said...

I never had Indian food. I'm actually a bit afraid because I heard it is really hot and spicy.

Anonymous said...

Mini-MCR were damn cute. But, I'm pretty sure she probably stopped the comic because she stopped being a fan. I think it stopped around the time a lot of other MCR fansites starting disappearing.

resurrected wreck said...

Not all of it is hot and spicy, Siobhan. Some of it is quite mild. I love it, but can't eat it too often as I find it a bit to rich for my digestive system.

Anonymous said...

Yes, thanks for the link(s), hehe!

I think it's just a pity that those people are wasting their creativity and talent on those assholes!

Anonymous said...

LOL. They say they don't use the net but also say they do.

They say the internet doesn't exist, but it does and it really helped their career in the beginning.

And if the internet doesn't exist, then why was the WMHC invented?

Just more examples of the shit MCR spout.

I think Gerard said, at that piont, that the internet didn't exist because lots of people where slagging his wife off on it.

Anonymous said...

A lot of ex-fans tell me they just outgrew MCR. It's not so much about anything the band has done, they just associate MCR with middle school, being 13, etc.

That's the problem with appealing to teenies. They outgrow you.

resurrected wreck said...

And what was with Gerard saying the internet didn't exist in that one interview? What a loon.

What did he even mean? Was he trying to be existential?

Still sounds good to me.

I never had Indian food. I'm actually a bit afraid because I heard it is really hot and spicy.

It depends on what you have. I suggest you try it though.

Anonymous said...

Sorry, that was random, I know. I was just thinking about all the fansites that keep disappearing.

Anonymous said...

I think he was trying to be deep. Problem is, when he tries to be deep, he just ends up looking stupid, you know?

Martha Smith-Jones said...

"I think Gerard said, at that piont, that the internet didn't exist because lots of people where slagging his wife off on it."

You have to be fucking kidding me. Because if I remember they were doing the same to Eliza. And if he didn't want people to talk negatively about his wife maybe he shouldn't have gone on about how fucking amazing she was.

Some people can see bullshit when it is front of them and they will say something about it.

resurrected wreck said...

That's the problem with appealing to teenies. They outgrow you.

I don't think MCR have figured that out yet.

From what I've seen, a lot of fangirls have already jumped ship for the Jonas Brothers, Robert Pattison, and whoever else. Seems the only ones still hanging on are the scary, frothing ones.

Anonymous said...

Sorry, that was random, I know. I was just thinking about all the fansites that keep disappearing.

They probably see through them, like we do and give up.

How many do you know that have disappeared?

Anonymous said...

Their songs aren't even on my computer anymore, and to be honest, I don't know why I ever liked them so much. They were never really that good.

resurrected wreck said...

You have to be fucking kidding me. Because if I remember they were doing the same to Eliza. And if he didn't want people to talk negatively about his wife maybe he shouldn't have gone on about how fucking amazing she was.

He shouldn't have shoved her bendy self in everyone's face. People resent that. He has only himself to blame for people not liking her. That, and she really doesn't come across as a particularly likeable person.

Anonymous said...

But he never spoke about Eliza. Maybe he thought that if he talked about how great Lindsey was, then fans would crucify her like they did Eliza.

Didn't work though because both Lindsey and Eliza opened their mouths and showed everyone how far from nice and wonderful they were.

Anonymous said...

And what was with Gerard saying the internet didn't exist in that one interview? What a loon.

Hahahaha, yes! I think he tried to sound like a philosopher!
Of course they are roaming the net. Who do they think they're fooling? Morons! They're such self-centered narcissists, they have to know what people say and think about them. Otherwise, their heads would explode.

resurrected wreck said...

It was the whole "You should all love her!" garbage on the part of Gerard and the "Yeah! You should all love me!" ingratitude on the part of the wife that really put people off.

Anonymous said...

That, and she really doesn't come across as a particularly likeable person.

Yeah, she comes off as mean and full of herself. An elitist, a quality that MCR were apparently against.

resurrected wreck said...

Their songs aren't even on my computer anymore, and to be honest, I don't know why I ever liked them so much. They were never really that good.

They're a good band, but not a great band. It was their ethical stance that made them stand out, not their music. Now that they've killed that stance they're no more special than anyone else.

Anonymous said...

Gerard's voice has deteriorated so much it's unbelievable. They had the potential to be something special, but he smoked, drank and snorted that all away.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I said it once before you can make people like the person you are in love with.

They will either like or hate them because of who they are. Trying to make people love the person you are fucking will only lead to them being hated and not seen as their own person.

Anonymous said...

I can't make out what he's saying on desolation row. It just sounds like Gerard mumbling and occasionally shouting 'desolation row'. It's only 3.10 minutes long, you would think they could have added another 30 seconds and at least made the lyrics audible.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, after he was "sober".

Quoted for fucking truth!!!

I downloaded 'Bullets' because back then it was still an import cd and they wanted to have 40 euros for the album and I thought Pffft, yeah!.
However, I had it on a MD and it landed in cream and I had to throw it away. To make a long story short; I listened to some of the songs again on the internet and I realized it didn't do it for me anymore.
I don't know how to put it differently than saying it with that cheesy expression: The magic was gone!

resurrected wreck said...

Some of their songs still strike me as very good, such as Helena and Sleep. But they're the exceptions.

resurrected wreck said...

Actually, their first album was quite good, powerful & melodic. Now their stuff mostly just sounds like noise.

Did you read Bob's blog about that?
Even if they have, which could be possible, they would never call themselves by their real names and most likely set it to private.

Anonymous said...

Sometimes I see Gerard as a sadist, so maybe there was a part of him that wanted to see that 'something special' destroyed.

I wonder why the Way brothers seem to be such pigs when it comes to body hygiene. Didn't their mother teach them to shower regularly and stuff? Can you imagine trying to have sex with Gerard and undressing him more and more and almost suffocating because of the lethal fumes coming out of his pants and escape his arm pits and feet? YUCK!
The girls he had before must have had a death wish or maybe their sense of smell was non-existant.
Perhaps due to heavy coke-snorting or something.

But just like some MSI fans I didn't really take notice of the lyrics, let alone understanding them. When I think of it now I could kick myself in the ass for it.
But then, nobody discussed those lyrics with me and called attention to their misogyny.

I think he's still taking pills. After all, not only was he an alcoholic, he also had a mental disorder and took medication for that. I don't think that his anxiety and depression were cured right after he stopped drinking, snorting coke and popping pills.

On the lj site where the fan posted the link to desolation and on other posts concerning DR, its funny how many fans comment using the phrase "dirty punk song." I really wish that someday these girls can learn to think for themselves.

He was taking the pills and drinking to deal with those problems.

Anonymous said...

I think he's still taking pills.

So do I. He's made it sound in some interviews that the band "cured" his depression. Then in others, it's as if the band caused him to become an alcoholic and addicted to Xanax. I wish he'd make up his mind.

As far as Xanax goes, his story about how he "just stopped" really doesn't ring true if you know anything about that drug. If he was taking it regularly, he would have to wean himself from it slowly, otherwise he would risk having seizures.

I'd wager he still takes the stuff.

Anonymous said...

That and a whole lot more, including cocaine.

Wow, that sounds bad. You take Xanax to prevent anxiety attacks, right?

Anonymous said...

Yeah, it can be taken to prevent anxiety attacks, but according to Gerard, he was using it to shut his mind off and help him to sleep.

Anonymous said...

Xanax withdrawal can cause rebound anxiety, too. I just don't see how he could have performed onstage if he "just stopped" taking it.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, it can be taken to prevent anxiety attacks, but according to Gerard, he was using it to shut his mind off and help him to sleep.

Wouldn't you take sleeping pills for that?
I remember when I read an article in which he said that he was taking some anti-depressant and that it was really dangerous taking that pill and drinking alcohol and that he got a severe migraine because of that. And he was still boozing. Insane!

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Siobhan you wee around for this but when I still had a job I was getting very bad headaches. My Dr put me on an antidepressant because one of it's off label uses is to help prevent headaches. It can also be used to help people sleep.

Yes, I remember that time, MJ! I hope you feel better now!

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I got better once I didn't have that job any more.

Well Gw seems to be an ass

Anonymous said...

What bands have served as role models for you in that respect?

Iron Maiden. They wanted victory. You can tell just by the way they play onstage when they're playing live - they're not showing off. They're not an elitist band. You go to a parking lot of an Iron Maiden show and you see everyone from 8-year-old kids with their older parents to teenagers to guys who work as mechanics to truckers to housewives.

In case you're wondering who said that; it was Gerard, of course.

Anonymous said...

Elitist seems to be one of his favorite words.

Xanax is prescribed for a multitude of things: panic, sleeplessness, pain, etc. But the thing is, Gerard wasn't getting it from a doctor. He said in an interview that he was getting it illegally.

Another thing about Xanax is that it's terribly addictive, both physically and psychologically. It's not uncommon for people to have terrible insomnia for months after they stop taking it.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

They really have nothing to talk about

I then had to wait ages for itunes to load, because i'm outside the US of course it said it couldn't complete. I tried clicking back, it went back to their website for one second and then immedtiatly loaded itunes again. I am pissed off, if I wanted to buy that crappy single I am quite capable of going to itunes by myself instead of being forced to. They must be pretty desperate for sales if they have to do that.

I think it is mainly Warner trying to promote the movie through MCR. They want everybody to know that the Watchmen movie is coming out and they're using the song to remind people of that.
I wouldn't be surprised if that's why they've chosen the band in the first place. They know that MCR have a huge teenage following and that they will also go see that movie even if they're not interested in the comic or the movie per se but they would want to see it to hear their favorite band singing that song during ending credits.

I was just about to come here to rant about that very thing. Who the fuck do they think they are?!?! They can't force people to but their shitty single. If they posted a link then fine, but have the site redirected is just really shitty. They know how to prove themselves as money grabbing bastards don't they?

Anonymous said...

Don't want to play devil's advocate here, but again, it's Warner and not MCR doing that. They want to promote the single and the movie.
MCR are only meat puppets.
...with full wallets, of course!

Safe on the Waves said...

It could be a joint effort. I don't know. Either way, it's shitty.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I don't think MCR's wallets are that full. From what I have heard TBP tour broke even and with all the money spent on videos I think they own WB money.

I don't remember MCR being this aggressive before when it came to their singles. There was always a link to itunes but it was up to you to click it.

I think it is a joint effort with WB getting most of the benefit.

MCR may have had a huge teen following but that was mainly girls. Girls don't give a shit about Watchmen they want more Twilight. It would have been way more profitable single wise to have had a song in that movie. Most of the watchmen fans I have seen hate MCR and having them connected to that films is a big issue with them.

Anonymous said...

I don't think fans are going to like this. I remember after all the build-up for The Black Parade, with a separate website and all the "What is the Black Parade?" nonsense, there were a lot of people who were saying, "If this turns out to be just the name of the new album, I'm going to be pissed." And guess what? And a lot of them were pissed. MCR actually lost fans over that.

This band seems to be all about gimmicks these days. I was on a friend's journal yesterday and someone had made the comment, "Remember back when MCR really was about music and not about dressing up in costumes and trying to squeeze every dime out of the fans?" And my friend replied back, "No. That was so long ago, I really can't remember it anymore."

Fans are jumping ship everywhere you look. I know Warner is partly responsible, but Gerard always bragged about how the band had the ultimate say in how they were marketed. If that's true, then MCR shares equally in the blame.

Oh well. I can't say I feel sorry for them. If ever a band deserved to be deserted by their fans, it's My Chemical Romance.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

The costume thing didn't bother me because if you think about GW wore costumes for Revenge for a while. It was more the attitude that came across. "we know we have made something special" shit they kept saying.

Anonymous said...

Hi Elfe!
Hi MJ!

I didn't say that it is not shitty of them to do that and it looks really desperate. I totally agree!

I think you could be on to something, MJ!
If MCR didn't bring in the cash with TBP as expected by Warner and as promised by MCR, they most likely have to be their whores until they made up for their losses.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Hello Siobhan, Safe and Anons.

Anonymous said...

I also think that the 'Black Parade' was a tad too much. I remember an article in which someone (can't remember if it was Gerard or the interviewer, though) said that TBP was actually more like their 5th album and that the guys were practically two steps ahead of their development as a band or something like that.
I just know that I was really disappointed when I first heard Welcome to the Black Parade. The song was not at all catchy to me and neither was any of the other songs they released after that apart from 'I don't love you'. But one song doesn't make me buy a whole album with shitty songs or at least songs that sound very similar to songs from other bands. When I want to listen to an Iron Maiden song I go and buy one of their albums and not TBP.

Anonymous said...

I remember trying really hard to like TBP because I had loved Revenge so much. My friends and I were so excited the night they first streamed it on the website.

But as hard as I tried I just couldn't like it. It didn't sound like MCR, it sounded like MCR trying to sound like Queen, Pink Floyd, etc. It felt like they were overreaching - trying to put out something "important" rather than just making music they liked.

I would have stayed with the band though, purely because of my love of their first two records. But then Gerard had to become such a self-important jackass. By the time PR rolled around, I was pretty disillusioned. PR was just the final nail in the coffin.

Okay, wtf? You can't even go onto the MCR site now without being redirected to iTunes?

Screw that.

I know. I wonder if it'll only be for today.

Anonymous said...

Hmm... I'm on their site now and there is no iTunes.
But there is an ugly pic of that muppet with a wig, Bret Michaels.

Anonymous said...

MCR are so fucking pathetic with the redirecting to iTunes. they jammed my fucking computer. i had to shut it down. they are such assholes.

Anonymous said...

If you got Firefox as a browser then download NoScript and that prevents you from being redirected to iTunes as long as you don't give them the allowance.

Anonymous said...

I really don't understand MCR. All they had to do was write a brief post saying their single comes out today, click here to buy it from itunes. Instead, nothing is posted (nothing at the moment anyway) and they just force you straight onto itunes with no explaination or even a 'hey, please buy our single'. It's just lazy and arrogant that they don't even need to ask. And I hold MCR respnisble not just Warner - Gerard has always said that they have a big say in what goes on with the band.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I went to the MCR site to see what you were talking about. the only way that could have been shittier was if it also downloaded the song for you.

Have you guys read the reviews that where left. I have to say that I think those are mostly people who work for WB/Reprise. Most of the people I have heard talk about it not just here have called it shit. Love how they have the I love Bob Dylan and MCr did this song justice person

Anonymous said...

i'm sure one of the 'dylan heard this and loved it' comments will appear in those reviews, despite the fact that so far only gerard has said this.

Anonymous said...

I wouldn't buy it, but you can download it here for free.

I think that song sucks donkey balls. So why should I download it, even if it's for free?
Next thing we hear of, is that 'Desolation Row' by MCR is the most illegal downloaded song of the week/month/year and I wouldn't want to give them that gratification.
Also, I wonder why so many people here still seem to go to their site regularly? What do you expect to see there?
We only give it more hits than that shitty site from that shitty band deserves.

It's better than actually paying for it and supplying them with monkey rentals.

Even though the fangirls claim to L♥V Lindsey, i think they go there to see if the lovebirds have split up yet so they can have a chance with geetard. LOL!

Anonymous said...

I downloaded it (didn't pay for it though) because I was curious. I'm not putting it on my iPod and I probably won't ever listen to it again, unless I have the misfortune of hearing it out somewhere on the radio.

The only people who would buy it from iTunes and put up any kind of review are probably die-hard MCR fans, so of course they'll say it's good. They will convince themselves they like it no matter what because they're brainwashed little morons with no minds of their own.

Anonymous said...

What do you expect to see there?

I was rather hoping MCR would have the video up on their site so I could have a good laugh.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Siobhan people are going there out of curiosity. It's like going to see 2 girls 1 cup. You know it's nothing good but you still go anyway.

Anonymous said...

The only thing good i can say about the song is i liked the way Ray plays.

Anonymous said...

I go to their site for the LOL. Though only when I'm bored at work and have nothing else better to do. One of them has usually done or said something to lower my opinion of them even further.

Anonymous said...

SHIT!!

Eliza made her MySpace and BN private - how am I supposed to get my laughs now?? I can't depend on MCR and MSI all the time.

Biatch!

Anonymous said...

I wonder what crawled up her ass to make her have a total shutdown?

Where's she going to go for attention now?

Somebody warn the sharp pieces of wood.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Anon i think either word got back to GW of what she had on her site or she wasn't getting enough hits. Give it some time she will need attention and it will come back up.

Anonymous said...

Anon i think either word got back to GW of what she had on her site or she wasn't getting enough hits.

What did she have on her site that would piss GW off?

Maybe we were right about them hooking up in LA and she knew she couldn't keep her mouth shut so she just made her sites private?

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I don't go to her site unless someone links it but I heard see had all these baby pictures on there.

GW's life has become a soap opera because it appears to not think with his brain about some of the women he allows in his life. Even if he is a boring.

Anonymous said...

Just wondering, how do people know Eliza is in LA? Did she say something on her myspace before she went private?

Martha Smith-Jones said...

This is Eliza we are talking about do you really need to ask.

That is what I heard that she said something on one of her sites.

Anonymous said...

I wonder what crawled up her ass to make her have a total shutdown?

She was asking everyone to vote if she should keep the band like it was or should she add some more band members and she also said she wanted to wear a mask or cover her face(good idea) so people would take her more serious (LOL).On one of the comments this chick says yes change the band and get a real singer( again LOL).Maybe this is what pissed her off. I doubt it will last long because her favorite hobbies is getting lurked on the internet.

Anonymous said...

Yesterday she had pics ofher and Jeffery Star on her site and she said they went to LA for a vacation(Stalking GW).

Anonymous said...

Instead of a mask could i suggest a paper bag?

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I shouldn't be laughing at that. But fuck that was funny. That is the price of fame you seek out the approve and attention of people and you will get love but you will also get you ass handed to you.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I wonder if she bought a bunch of boxes of that cereal he can't find.

She looks stupid in that picture with the mask.

If the are his favorite, then i'm sure that they her favorite. She probably went to LA and bought up all the frankinberry and she is going to use them to get her man back!

She looks stupid in that picture with the mask.

She also looked stupid when she had that awful Dr Spock haircut.

I don't think they make a mask with big enough eyeholes for her O_O

From the lj site chemicalromance:

An Open Letter to My Chemical Romance

Dear Boys and Gerard,

In these unlikely times of economic struggle and change occuring not only in the United States but throughout the world, I hope you will be able to understand why and forgive me for leaking your new single, Desolation Row, to the masses.

Please allow me to express my happiness that you put a countdown on your website and then promptly a link to buy the song on iTunes. I would also like to take this time to exclaim my sheer joy at not being thrown in internet jail by Warner/Reprise. I understand that there is still time for this to happen but in order to serve my penance swiftly and accordingly, please allow me to encourage everyone I leaked the single to on chemicalromance, to purchase this song on iTunes for $0.99 despite the fact that Apple and Warner/Reprise are total douchebags made up of corporate douchebaggery of the very douchebaggiest kind that I don't think anyone should stand for. But, hey, you shoulda streamed it on your website, motherfuckers. But whatever. Not bitter. Totally not mostly bitter.

If they give you any money from these sales, I hope you'll spend it on shoes and strawberry pocky.

All my love,
Jazzy aka demolitionlove

Seems Warner's latest trick has even pissed off the rabid fangirls. O_O

*whoop, whoop*

Go Jazzy! Thanks for posting that.

I read two paragraphs and gave up. Snooooooze!

Wondering....why does Eliza have baby pics on her site?

Anonymous said...

Seriously, they all post such stupid shit. I'm giving, I should hae never got into the habbit of going there anyway.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Hello safe and anons.

Safe on the Waves said...

This is the baby pic.

Apparently it was to advertise the Jeffree Star t-shirt she'd wearing. But we all know that's bull and why do a picture like that? WHat sick mind came up with that concept?

Safe on the Waves said...

I go there to laugh. It's the way they blantently lie to their fans (like Mikey's "friend" who found that picture)and think they're a bunch of idiots that makes me chuckle. Of course some lap it up, while the people who aren't kissing their asses see it for what it really is.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

People who are internet famous scare me. I really think they all need to get their heads examined.

Safe on the Waves said...

MJ, the internet doesn't exist.

It's Eliza's attempt at making fun of herself. It's in rather poor taste, I admit, but I don't know. I think it's kind of funny.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Oh I forgot people are being mean to GW's wife so the internet is gone now. I really hope he didn't say that. I mean really how fucking childish would that be,

Safe on the Waves said...

It might be funny if it wasn't done by a women in Eliza's position. Everyone knows Lindsey pregnant and like you said, it's in bad taste.

Hi there, MJ!
Hi Elfe!
Hi anons!

I'm also curious as to why an attention whore like Eliza would make her MySpace and BN profiles private, but maybe she's just re-decorating her padded cell(s), hahaha.
Or maybe, we were really on to something when we thought about Eliza and Getard having an affair behind Lindsey's back(bend).

Anonymous said...

I think either's possible, Siobhan

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I think it would be someone new if that was the case. cheating that is

Anonymous said...

It's not like Gerard hasn't cheated with Eliza before.

Lots of men cheat when their wives are pregnant and he's already a proven cheater.
