I followed a few links from a link someone posted here, to ONTD. From there, there was a discussion about MCR's racism and sexism with posts to a Tumblr that had the same views about them.
It is nice to see that people are finally catching up to everyone here.

So Gerard said that Danger Days was in response to him doing that shoot for Nylon, after which he decided he didn't want to do fashion magazine spreads and become "that guy". Of course, that was back around the time the album came out and he probably expected it to sell a jillion copies.
But it didn't. And he turned down the Twilight Soundtrack, which put Muse and Florence and the Machine (among others) on the map in the US. He even wrote a smug song about it.
So, to make up for losing out on Twilight, he decided to let Glee and American Idol use his song. Now he's got a magazine spread in Vogue.
Somebody tell me how on god's earth anyone can ever believe a single word that comes out of this man's mouth?
He probably did it for 'art's sake'. You know, infiltrate the house of fashion, spread the ugly etc. Of course all this is void because they airbrushed the fuck out of him.
