I thought this was relevant to this blog's interests because "turning racist" (really misogynist) and/or getting involved with a racist band was obviously such a huge turning point, and was part of what created this blog and drawing everyone here. I also thought it was really funny.
But thank you JGL fans. For introducing me to a little movie called Brick. It was a masterpiece. I just watched Stop Loss recently and he was really good in that too.

My husband did a Charlie Sheen back in 2005. He'd done it before, but not to the same degree and he always managed to come back from it. In 2005, however, he went so far off the deep end that he destroyed every relationship he had. After a summer of Charlie Sheen type rants and delusions, of charging credit cards to the limit and cashing in retirement accounts, it all ended with a shotgun in his mouth the fall of that year.
I suppose my experience makes me more sensitive than most to Charlie's meltdown. Like I said before, I don't like him, but I hate the way the media and the general public is egging him on. It's actually quite painful for someone who has had a loved one to go down that path to watch.

I have been here for quite some time. I'll admit not being an MCR fan anymore. I'll admit I've taken some unwarranted uncalled-for pot shots at Gerard and company. Like you, I've been let down by his new persona and life style choices. I cannot blame any of these things on his significant other. I've tried to uncover any racist remarks that any of these woman who are being persecuted have said. (Not the crisp eater comments) Lynz herself has admitted to not having written any of MSI's music or lyrics. She has distanced herself from MSI since having her child or so it appears to me. I don't understand why people here go on and on about her. Perhaps I'm truly missing something as every time I ask for proof that these woman are false feminists, racists, or all around awful people, the conversation shifts to a new topic. (as most blogs do)

I guess you could use the same logic to say, How do you know what kind of people Gerard, Lynz, and their friends are?
You don't. But from judging from what they have said in public they contradict themselves. So, that leads to the possibility that they may say anything to look good to sell themselves. Then to my mind they are not very principled which would then make me question what type of people they really are.
Sounds pretty similar to politicians who would tell you anything to get your vote. And once they have it, you find out how they really work.

See we still in North Wales especially Snowdonia where I live feel the effect of the Nuclear power plant disater in Chernobyl, Ukraine 25 years ago.
