A funny pic for you guys.....

This is one for all of you who turned me on to Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
(It got cut off but it says "Every guy who is tired of hearing how cute and wonderful jgl is".)

I thought this was relevant to this blog's interests because "turning racist" (really misogynist) and/or getting involved with a racist band was obviously such a huge turning point, and was part of what created this blog and drawing everyone here. I also thought it was really funny.

But thank you JGL fans. For introducing me to a little movie called Brick. It was a masterpiece. I just watched Stop Loss recently and he was really good in that too.

Happy new year (sorry it's late) and I hope everyone is having a great year!

Nah, we hate her because she's a racist idiot and proud of being one. Try again!

Anonymous said...

And Gerard's also an idiot, a sexist misogynist one. So your logic fails. We hate him too.

Lolita wasn't written by a Racist Bassist. That's one difference.

Anonymous said...

Just what I thought. I doubt any of you have even read Lolita or heard of Lenny Bruce. You can't even answer my question logically.

This place is a joke.

Anonymous said...

FYI, Lolita showed the consequences of the abuse of the young girl by Humbert Humbert -- both to the victim and the perpetrator. It was a very tragic novel. Panty Shot makes light of child abuse.

Are you sure that you read Lolita?

Anonymous said...

Then why are you here? Why are you just desperately wanting to defend a racist idiot like Lindsey? Let us hate her for her racist fail and move on. Telling people what can and can't offend them is dumb, and usually the tool of racist enablers and defenders. Maybe you should drive through South Central with some MSI blasting out and see how long you survive.

Anonymous said...

As for Lenny Bruce, his routine didn't do anything to lessen the sting of the racist slurs he used.

I agree with him in principle, but the truth is, racist and sexist slurs still hurt. MSI isn't doing anything to make that stop by using them, especially since their audience is about 99 per cent white.

Anonymous said...

If racist slurs still hurt, it's because people give them power. The words need to be taken back so they have no power. Why can't you people understand that?

Anonymous said...

Jimmy Urine is a white male. How can he "take back" a racist or sexist slur?

Sense. You make none.

Anonymous said...

As far as I can tell, MSI is not, and has never tried to "take back power" by using offensive words. They've always been a stupid, faux rock band trying to shock or offend people.

Words like n*****, f*****, etc need to stop being used period. You can't use them positively, especially the word n*****. It has a painful history behind it.

Anonymous said...

If you don't realize that it's not acceptable for a white male to reclaim a word on behalf of POC, then I really, really don't know what to say to you. Do you even know about slavery? The history of POC? What white men did and continue to do to black people?

Jesus fucking christ.

Anonymous said...

Seriously are you that ignorant and desperate to justify your friend and her crappy band?

Are you trying to compare Panty Shot, a "song" about someone stalking a five year old child, a child straight out of infancy, with malicious intent, to a tragic satiric novel about the abuse of a 12 year old child?

You are the joke.

Anonymous said...

If I also remember correctly, LynZ mentioned something that the intent of the song was to make the listener challenge the lyrics of other songs or some other stupid nonsense to that effect.

Anonymous said...

If racist slurs still hurt, it's because people give them power. The words need to be taken back so they have no power. Why can't you people understand that?

It's the connotation to the words that has the power and until you remove it's connotation, it is highly unlikely, it will always be a slur word used in the context for demeaning.

Anonymous said...

Jimmy Urine has said over and over that MSI has no message and that MSI is just out to make a buck. So why can't their pig-headed fans get that through their heads?

Anonymous said...

Why does everyone think Lindsey is racist? what did she do?

Anonymous said...

I get pissed off at anyone using satire as reason to be able to offend. And hey, it's funny, so that's OK. There are no rules, apparantly. What is right and what is wrong? I find it uncomfortable.

It's a fine line to tread sometimes.

Anonymous said...

Why does everyone think Lindsey is racist? what did she do?

Lindsey is nothing in terms of what MSI write or create. She is not the brains behind it, that is Jimmy Piss's job. She contributed nothing in that respect. Well, nothing more than standing there plucking bass strings along to Jimmy's satirical lyrics. Some might say that she is as bad as him. I don't think she gave it a second thought until she met GW, and then she wanted to do some damage control. Hence the pro feminist blah blah blah interviews in 2008 era.

Anonymous said...

but why do people think she's racist?

Anonymous said...

I agree 2:40. I don't think she cared about anything apart from wanting to live the rock star life even if it took joining a shock rock band.

Anonymous said...

Because she didn't seem to have a problem to the music she played to, until she married into MCR.

Anonymous said...

but why do people think she's racist?

You need to go trawl your way through MSI's so called satirical lyrics. Or back read on this blog from the beginning.

Lol, Elmer Fudd strikes again.

Anonymous said...

Thanks for posting the link to Mumford and Sons, Kapunua.

There is so much good music out there right now that is not MCR and that isn't trying to push some stupid "pop art" crap on people. Honestly, I think Gerard is so out of the loop on what his demographic is. Most arty kids I know listen to ~beardy-sleepy~ Indie music. He's trying to go after the Pop crowd who is into Lady Gaga right now, but I think they're the most fickle group of listeners out there. If they do like what MCR is doing now, they won't like them next week.

Anonymous said...

Elmer Fudd...awright XD

Anonymous said...

I think you should just listen to any style of music if you like it. I wouldn't classify myself into any group or genre.

I agree, but Gerard is the one who was talking about being in a 'cage match' with Pop in NME. I think he's trying too hard.

That's kind of sad, considering how many people have their hands in the pie. Not too many $$ rolling in with 200,000 copies.

Rockabilly is still live and kickin' in the hills of West Virginia...i say this from many years of attending the Vandalia Gathering

Anonymous said...

I would not classify Mumford and Sons as 'rockabilly'. They fall more into contemporary folk.

KOL is straight up blues inspired rock n roll, with a bit of country thrown in, although lately they've been going more the experimental route, probably a result of having toured with Radiohead.

Anonymous said...

"We didn't just make a sleepy-beardy-artsy-fartsy record either, we did make a big art pop record, so it's not like a bid to become a cult band or retreat into that"

-- Gerard Way, NME

I think that comment was directed at KOL specifically, because they came out with a much more low key record in response to their breakthrough success here in the US with Only by the Night, which obviously made the band a bit uncomfortable. Come Around Sundown is definitely a "sleepy" record. Despite that, it has outsold Danger Days by a pretty big margin. I think that gripes Gerard's ass, seeing as how KOL is popular with the 18-25 year old male demographic, which MCR would kill for.

Anonymous said...

Joe has a really nice voice. I continue to be impressed by him.

Anonymous said...

Just ignore Gerard Way. He is a twit. That's why he married another one.

Anonymous said...

What I don't get is how Come Around Sundown was the 11th highest selling record of 2010, with around 700,000 in sales as of January 1st, yet supposedly MCR sold more than a million by January, when it came out a month later and never charted as high as Come Around Sundown did anywhere. In fact, CAS is still in Billboard's top 100 (while DD languishes at 174) and is in the Global top 40 (which DD fell out of in about 4 weeks). It makes no sense. In fact, it's downright impossible. :/

Anonymous said...

Simple. The Danger Days figure is bogus. Stop worrying about it. In the scheme of things, who cares if their fans exaggerate their sales figures?

In fact, who cares if Danger Days sells a bajillion copies. Gerard & Co. are still idiotic douchebags.

Anonymous said...

Perhaps if Gerard wrote a song called Pubes on fire he might catch the more hardcore elements of the KOL fanbase and kiss Jimmy Urine ass at the same time.

Sure to be a big hit!

As of December 1, 2010: In the second half of the Top 10, Rihanna’s “Loud” (Def Jam) is No. 6 with 141,000; Justin Bieber’s new “My Worlds Acoustic” (Island), sold only through Wal-Mart, is No. 7 with 115,000; and My Chemical Romance is No. 8 with 112,000 sales of its new “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys” (Reprise). Ne-Yo’s new “Libra Scale” (Def Jam) is No. 9 with slightly fewer sales than “Danger Days” (SoundScan’s publicly released numbers are rounded), and “Glee: The Music — The Christmas Album” (Columbia) rounds out the Top 10 with 108,000 sales.

Sorry. You can try to gloss over it all you want. Just like GW and his artsy fartsy pretensious bs.

Mumford and Sons is a rockabilly as it gets. Just like Bob Dylan and Buddy Holly.

Dont like the classification? Get the fuck over yourself and move the fuck on.

Mumford and Sons are proud to be called "rockabilly".

Lindsay Way is a racist because of her part in a racist band. Look at MSI's lyrics and behavior (posting pictures of African Americans on twitter to laugh at them etc) and it marks them as racist.

They use the excuse 'but if Method Man can use racial slurs, why can't we?'. The difference is, Method Man is black. Jimmy, Steve, Kitty and Lindsey are not black. They have no valid reason to use those words. They use them to be offensive and shock.

Lindsey tries to defend this racism as 'groundbreaking music' and 'innovative' art. She can't step away from her white priviledge long enough to even see her actions and role in a racist band as wrong.

Lindsey is a racist, because of her racist behavior, her pride in it, and her refusal to see another point of view. And the reason we talk about her so much here, is because Gerard is constantly promoting his racist wife as an 'artist' in articles about MCR. He is just as blind and ignorant as her. We also get fangirl idiots and friends of Lindsey like Jessicka posting here telling us how 'wrong' we are, and that Lindsey is a 'nice person'.

My point: if she was 'so nice', she'd make an apology for her role in a racist band. But she's a rich, greedy white woman who has surrounded herself with enablers and apologizers that tell her she is right all the time. She's not going to change.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

If you've seen LynZ in MSI interviews before she married Gerard, you'll see all she does is sit there and say nothing. She could have said something about her so-called feminist beliefs back then, but she didn't. Only when she married Gerard did she start yapping about wanting to be an "inspiration" for girls.

Clearly someone told her to do it.

Anonymous said...

Rockabilly is defined as "blues with a country beat". Prime examples are Elvis Presley's early music, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, etc. It was very raucous and danceable. Songs like Whole Lotta Shakin' or Peggy Sue come to mind.

While artists as varied as Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin were influenced by Rockabilly, they wouldn't be classified as such.

Mumford and Sons is an English folk band. I wouldn't exactly compare their songs to Whole Lotta Shakin' or Jailhouse Rock.

Anonymous said...

I don't care much for classifications. Music is music. But Bob Dylan rockabilly? No.

Anonymous said...

You know what really p***** me off about the whole Charlie Sheen meltdown? It's the fact that if it were a woman instead of a man sleeping with two porn stars, taking drugs, appearing wasted on TV, losing custody of her children, threatening her former partners, then the whole world would be ripping her apart. People would just tear that woman to pieces, e.g-look at what people are saying about Lindsey Lohan and her legal problems. Also, Britney was treated awfully in the press when she had her breakdown.

I'm not saying Charlie Sheen should be ripped apart, but it just shows you how s*** the world treats woman still.

Anonymous said...

Mumford & Sons music has some elements of Bluegrass in it, which makes me really happy. I grew up in Tennessee, and my uncles were bluegrass musicians. It's good to hear elements of that in something that gets played on the radio. :D

Anonymous said...

I agree 7:02.

People wouldn't think a woman behaving like Charlie Sheen was funny. Women are held to a much higher standard than men and it's not fair.

In fact, I doubt a woman with a past as checkered as Charlie Sheen's would be on a hit TV show in the first place.

Anybody catch The Strokes on SNL? It's good to have them back. :)

Anonymous said...

"to just stand up there and think, 'All right, we've got these four instruments, let's just do it, this is a song'...it feels like such an archaic notion now to do that. It feels like it needs to be something more, it feels like it needs to be something really unique and special .... Whereas pop was usually a throwaway thing, you had somebody (Gaga, Kanye) who gave a shit and took a chance, so in some ways that makes a bunch of guys standing around with instruments look really foolish. Especially ones that aren't trying to say anything."

-- Gerard Way

Gerard thinks he's 'really special' because he dyes his hair Kurt-Cobain-Kool-Aid red.

Anonymous said...

Pop is still a throwaway thing. Gimmicks like coming out of eggs, plastic rayguns and Rhianna colored hair are not going to influence generations of musicians for years to come.

Rock was built on the blues. Blues artists were usually comprised of one man and a guitar. Nothing foolish about that.

Anonymous said...

Get over it. It's getting old...really old

Much like Gerard's idiocy, hey?

Anonymous said...

So apparently the next video is just going to be a 'live' one. I wonder if someone's figured out that the Killjoys bullshit isn't working?

Anonymous said...

I can't understand what it is that Gerard thinks is so "special" about what MCR is saying right now. The lyrics seem pretty nonsensical to me.

He makes about as much sense when he gives interviews as Charlie Sheen does.

Anonymous said...

'Gerard thinks he's 'really special' because he dyes his hair Kurt-Cobain-Kool-Aid red.'

Those two names shouldn't be put in the same sentence.

I think he just dissed every band out there that isn't running around shooting ray guns as part of their act.

There are tonnes of bands out there that simply use this little thing called "talent" to entertain their audience.

Gerard: shut the FCUK up. You don't make any sense.

Anonymous said...

"Just ignore Gerard Way. He is a twit. That's why he married another one."

I wish you all would ignore him if you hate him so much. Quick question; if you all dislike him and Lindsey so much then why give them the time of day on here?

Anonymous said...

I must also stress that I'm not a fan of GW or LW so I'm not coming from this in a fangirl way, I'm just genuinely curious as to what the draw is of talking about them here?

Anonymous said...

Because this is the internet and we can rant about idiots like Gerard and Lindsey if we want. I personally like being the flip side of the coin to the ones who hero worship everything they both do. I think this site is useful to provide a balance of positive and negative opinions. We don't troll other people, and we keep things confined to this blog. If people don't want to read it, they don't have to. Sadly, Gerard didn't give MCR fans a choice like that when he dragged his wife's racist side show on tour as a support act.

Anonymous said...

I think you guys are looking into things too much. It's just a band for fuck sake, they're clearly not bad people. Stop over exaggerating about everything, people make mistakes and do silly things.

Anonymous said...

Oh, I see you're a troll. Well, thanks for taking the time to tell people what can and can't offend them and to what extent they should be offended. You can go sit at the table with the other middle class white people now. Buh bye!

Anonymous said...

That's what you think. We think otherwise. Bands are powerful influences to young kids.

Anonymous said...

they're just a band you're too harsh they're not bad

Anonymous said...

In the words of Lenny Bruce, "It's the suppression of the word that gives it the power, the violence, the viciousness." Mindless Self Indulgence is NOT racist, and the usage of some not-so-PC words in their songs is not indicative of the bands hatred or distaste for any culture, creed, or ethnicity. MSI's fans come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, and are all welcomed with opened-arms no matter what they look like, or where they're coming from. It is true, many critics have questioned the band for using the word "nigger" in their songs -- they unfortunately are not taking the time to think about the bands satirical take on hip-hop music and culture, and their otherwise brash attitude in regards to the established quota of what society deems "the norm." Why is it deemed acceptable for Clifford Smith (AKA Method Man) to bust out on "Bring The Pain," but it is "in poor taste" for Jimmy Urine to do the same? It is a great song Mindless Self Indulgence wanted to cover -- should great music be restricted by nationality or race? Should we really waste our time dissecting this kind of the thing in the world we live in today? We think not.

Anonymous said...

I don't know. A band making money by calling women b****** and h*** and five year panties can't be good people in my eyes.

Anonymous said...

I find MSI disgusting and extremely offensive. They may or may not be bad people, but they're definitely stupid people. I reserve the right to express my opinion on their stupidity.

One more thing- I think LynZ gives feminism a bad name. I don't think she is an inspiration to young girls-quite the opposite, in fact. I used to be a MCR fan until all this s*** started. It got hard to stomach, then I found this blog to express my disappointment with them.

Can I just add, I actually think this place is more interesting when we're discussing non-MCRSI related topics. There are a lot of intelligent people around this place.

Anonymous said...

You missed the point. They are not satirical. Urine even said so.

Anonymous said...

when did he say that?

Anonymous said...

In light of the way she treat her own family I don't think she's a very nice person. She definitely should not be an inspiration or role model to anyone. Her stupid husband promoted her that way.

Anonymous said...

Jimmy et al are NOT black. Using racial slurs and mocking hip hop is racist, because they're NOT POC. How is this so hard to understand?

Anonymous said...

I don't think it's racisit.

Anonymous said...

It is true, many critics have questioned the band for using the word "nigger" in their songs -- they unfortunately are not taking the time to think about the bands satirical take on hip-hop music and culture, and their otherwise brash attitude in regards to the established quota of what society deems "the norm."

So, basically, MSI are admitting that they're racist (mocking 'hip gop culture' and using racial slurs), but they're proud of it because they're 'outside the norm'. Okay. I know some other people who think that way. They wear nice white robes and hoods. MSI should team up with them and write another album.

Anonymous said...

I don't think it's racisit.

Question: are you white?

Anonymous said...

I just love how MSI friends come here with lame reasons to justify the content of their songs and sanitize their friends image.

Anonymous said...

freak of nature

Anonymous said...

Let me give you some advice. A white person telling other people what is and isn't racist is kind of a dick move. Racial slurs ARE racist. When white people use them, they're using the language of the oppressor. You know, the kind of oppression that used to happen to POC when white people kept them as slaves? Made them work for nothing, tortured them, raped them etc?

Yeah, so you might want to leave it out.

To 12:05:

Can you tell me what good Lenny Bruce's "niggerniggernigger" rant did? It happened 50 years ago, yet the n-word still carries the same negative connotations it did 50 years ago. Lenny couldn't take power back because he was not black, and I'll wager that you aren't either.

And all that aside, MSI in no Lenny Bruce. People won't remember them 50 years from now because they're just a bunch of shock rockers who are in it to make a buck. They aren't trying to make social commentary. They're just putting on a show.

Anonymous said...

And they'll use any subject to make that buck.

Anonymous said...

^Exactly.

why do black people use the word nigger all the time? they call each other niggers

Don't you just love hipster racism? The attitude that "Hey, it's okay for me to use racist slurs because I'm so cool, yo. I'm above all that. Besides, I date an Asian chick so how could I be racist?"

But it's not okay. It's racism, no matter how "cool and hip" you think you are.

In regards to the n-word, if you aren't black, you can't "take the term back."

Anonymous said...

12:33 are you that thick?

Yes, I think 12:33 really is that thick. She's either a 12 year old who just discovered Gerard and thinks he's hot or she's a total troll. She's been here for days. It's best to ignore her.

Again, because you're clearly too busy frotting on pictures of your favorite band to, you know, read? You have no call telling people of color/gender/sexual orientation to "take back a word" that hurts them. It's not your call to decide what people do and do not wish to be called.

Guess what? You're wrong. It is. No, this is not an opinion, this is a fact. YOU don't get to decide what's racist and what isn't, you don't get to decide that other people should just "get over it."

Does it hurt? Being so stupid, is there pain involved?

YOU don't get to decide what's racist and what isn't, you don't get to decide that other people should just "get over it."

But why do YOU get to decided what's racist and what isn't? YOU don't know MSI's intent when they covered that song, or can you read minds now?

Anonymous said...

Their intent was purely to make money.

kapunua said...

No, dick, I'm leaving that up to people of color, and really anyone who doesn't like to be called a certain term because of their race, gender, ethnicity or sexuality. It's not up to some skanky, pube-lighting, smelly white disease of a man to decide to "take back the word" on behalf of the people he's insulting. It's not up to you either, and it's not up to me.

MSI's intent? Well, guess what. Their "intent" doesn't figure into it. Who gives a toss if they're trying to come across as racist or disgusting, or if they're trying to come across as the saviors of the poor, downtrodden POCs and "take back words" on their behalf. It doesn't matter what they say their intention is.

God damn, but you are thick as lead.

Anonymous said...

How about you google 'is a white person using the N word a racist?' and do some reading before you ask a dumbfuck, ignorant racist question like that. Of course MSI are racist. We aren't 'deciding' anything. We're just aware and educated: two things that you, and MSI, are clearly not.

Anonymous said...

Does it occur to any of you that people come here to wind all of you up on purpose, because it's so easy? I know I have.

Anonymous said...

4:02, intent has nothing to do with this. That word does not belong to MSI and they have no right to use it. Period. It is a racial slur with a very deep and painful context behind it. I'm afraid there are some white people who are just obsessed with picking it up and running around with it to get some sort of reaction when they use it. If anyone had any respect or understanding for what POC went through, and still go through, they would not use that word. MSI are racist because they fail to understand this, and I'm staring to think you're the same.

I would urge you to do some reading into racial politics and history before you continue to defend four white people using that word 'for the lolz'.

9:55, we're aware. It's called the internet and most of us are used to it. However, mixed in with the trolls are those lurkers and sometime posters like dstarpro who condone and defend sexism and racism. I'd rather give them some advice when they post their stupidity. It's my time to waste, after all.

I'd like to dedicate this post to the Racist Bassist on woman's day! May she continue to perform songs about sexual abuse, violence against women and rape. She's such an inspiration, really.

I have absolutely no respect for Jessicka Adams let alone her moronic friend. As far as I'm concerned these people only want to self-promote themselves.

What does Jessicka Addams have to do with what Lynz or her band says? I like her. I read her twitter today and I like what she has to say.

Jessicka defends Lindsey. She defends her racism and sexism. She's as bad as her.

I see where the so-called "sales figures" for Danger Days was finally removed from Wikipedia. But not before some college paper and NME published it as fact. Of course, NME also fucked up how many copies TBP sold too -- by a million copies (they printed 2,100,000, when TBP has sold more thatn 3,000,000). LMAO, they must have subtracted a million from TBP's sales to embellish Danger Days' sales. And they call themselves "journalists". What a joke.

She seems to be very forthcoming via twitter.
Or maybe somebody here could step down from their anonymous soap box and ask her privately ?

I haven't seen Jessicka defend Lyn-Z at least on twitter. She only promotes her art? Am I missing something?

Jessicka seems to have changed her tune on Charlie Sheen. At first, she was tweeting #winning, asking him if she could be a "goddess" and going along with everyone else who sees him as a joke. Now she's acts like she's concerned for him. You know, you can't really have it both ways.

But then, I think that's what Jessicka does with Lindsey. She spouts feminist rhetoric while pretending that Lindsey's career with MSI doesn't exist.

In my mind she is no different to Lindsey. She changes her tune to give herself a positive image. I would take anything she says with a grain of salt.

Jessicka visits here. She spammed us a few months ago with John Waters lines.

She has been called out here, publically, and she can come and respond any time she likes. I'm not one for going directly to someone's twitter/email when it's clear they can read what I type here.

Maybe the fact is that she's a coattail riding brownnoser who doesn't have a problem with songs about little girls being molested and racial slurs, because her 'BFF' is the one behind them? She's said time and time again Lyn-Z deserves 'no hate' from people. Sounds like the words of a racist apologizer to me.

Anonymous said...

It would be interesting to know what Jessicka's views are on MSI and their lyrical content. But, anything she says might upset LynZ so I don't see her responding to any MSI-related questions.

And, yes, Jessicka has changed her tune over Charlie Sheen. I wonder why...

Anonymous said...

11:40, she doesn't want to be kicked off the MCR gravy train. She's loving all this attention from the 'jellus' Lindsey haters and is trying to sell herself as the person who's friends with those on the moral highground. You know, the moral highground where they call people 'n*ggers', 'c*nts' tell women they should have given themselves coathanger abortions, and mock abuse victims. That moral highground.

Anonymous said...

I think she mentioned something about a 'persona'. I think that's how she justifies MSI.

Anonymous said...

It's so easy for racists like Jimmy Piss and The Racist Bassist to hide their prejudice and ignorance behind their 'art'. Funny how they don't like it when the tables are turned and people target them personally on twitter. They cry and whine about 'mean fans', but they don't understand that trolls like geewithoutlynz are their karma for being racist fuckwits.

I don't think so. They seems very much alike, only JA appears to more articulate than her 'crisp eater's' friend, who always seems to have a knack of putting a foot in her mouth.

Jessicka Addams @aliciaway @seriouscreep @lynzway. I call for a ladies lunch!

I wonder what racists order for lunch?

Also, wasn't seriouscreep aka Sarah Little the one who made the racist joke that Frank retweeted? Yeah, she was. What a small, bigoted little world these people inhabit.

In light of the tragic death of Mike Starr, many people have changed their tune about Charlie Sheen. It's not so funny anymore when you remember that drugs and/or mental problems often result in death.

I love how Jessicka tries to pretend she's so educated, 'feminist' and mature and then she goes and hangs out with a load of proven vapid, racist, foolish chumps like Alicia, Lindsey and Sarah.

Nice one, Jessicka!

People who think Charlie Sheen is funny have a distorted view of the world. They certainly have very little empathy.

I get what you are saying but it is not just Jessicka. Everybody is talking about Charlie Sheen. You can't avoid or ignore him at this point. My boss came to work wearing a Charlie Sheen shirt today and he is a cool guy who is as straight as an arrow.

My prediction

I dislike Lyn-Z as much as the next person here but I really don't think Jessicka is that bad. I read her twitter and it is funny. She clearly has a dark sense of humor but I don't see anything that she's tweeted as racist. I am also guilty in following the meltdown of Charlie Sheen. A lot of people are.
Just because you might associate with certain people does not mean you have to believe in everything they do 100%.

My best friend is a Republican. I am not. We can agree to disagree. It is that simple. To suggest that people can't have different values then their friends is really narrow minded thinking.

To people with a little empathy and compassion, Charlie Sheen is not a joke.

People don't understand mania. A manic person can throw away his or her entire life in just a matter of weeks or months. Sure, Charlie Sheen is a jackass. A woman beating jackass, and I dislike him. But he's a human being and he has a mental illness. He's destroying himself and he's doing it in a very public way. I don't see anything funny about that.

Just because most of the assholes out there in the world think it's hilarious to watch a rich, successful person totally disintegrate right before their eyes, it doesn't make it right.

Honestly, I don't have anything against Jessicka. I don't really know why people keep bringing her up here, other than the fact that she's friends with Lindsey.
