How was your holiday? I thought about you yesterday. I know that the first Thanksgiving after losing a loved one is very difficult. I lost my grandmother, sister and husband within the span of two years and holidays were very difficult for me for about three years after that. It gets better though. It's been four years since my husband died and this year Thanksgiving was great.
Anyway, hang in there. You are strong and I'm sure you will face whatever life has in store for you head-on, whereas lesser people would crumble. You have my respect and admiration.

I really don't see Reprise surviving as a label much longer. MCR's record doesn't look very promising commercial wise, and their only really successful band is Greenday as far as I know, and I don't think one band could pull an entire label.
Green Day may be bringing in major bucks but they've also got other musicians deceased and such that make them major money too. BareNaked LAdies had a good run, You had Madonna.. i don't know is she's still there, Avenged Sevenfold, H.I.M and many other lesser known bands are signed and judging by the reactiont to A7X and HIM, Reprise will be around for a while longer. They just need to find the next Green Day cause that's when people actually looked at Reprise.

Actually, Eddie Vedder has been onstage with KOL numerous times. The performances are all over youtube. He has often spoke of how much he admires the band. He even compared Caleb Followill's phrasing to Frank Sinatra's and he said at one point that their music was an inspiration to him. I can find the interview for you if you would like, but I'm at work now (because I have one of those "lives" you and your cronies are always telling us to get) so it will have to be later.
Also, Bono talked about how smart, savvy and talented KOL are in an interview once and Larry Mullen said they were one of the only bands out there who had staying power. I'll try to find that interview later as well.
