Oops I mean girl girl girl girl
Girl you know you're my world

Oops, sorry, did I go too far that time? LOL just kidding. I thought you people all might want to read something funny instead of the usual posts about hypocrisy and fake feminism.

Happy Halloween everyone.

I couldn't imagine going without sex. It would be hard with a baby, but I think it's important. Well, for me, lol.

He'll have a movie deal soon, and he's writing the score to it, so they'll be plenty of moolahs for his tribe.

LOL. Gerard's probably already been paid for the rights to the TUA movie and it's probably not nearly as much as you think. Unless you're an established author like Stephen King the writers don't really make shit -- especially since nobody knows how well the film will do. Do you think Alan Moore got a chunk of change for Watchmen? Not likely.

Anonymous said...

I think the studio that has the rights to TUA will wait until MCR's next record comes out to see how well it's going to do before they actually go ahead with anything for the film.

What with Spiderman, Batman and Iron Man I think the market is pretty saturated right now and it's very hard to compete with huge franchises like those. A few teenage girls aren't likely to pull in enough viewers to make it succeed at the box office.

Anonymous said...

I've heard Allan Moore wasn't too thrilled with the commercialisation of Watchmen and wanted no part of it. In fact in that same rumor I heard a movie was planned years ago but never went through. He may have sold the movie rights back then. I was wondering why his name was hardly ever mentioned in all the hype, so I looked it up.

Anonymous said...

Look how many times they've tried to get Preacher made into a movie. They've even gone so far as to cast the damn thing and do makeup testing only to run into another brick wall. Granted, Preacher has some very controversial themes, but TUA isn't something that would appeal to the mainstream audience either.

Anonymous said...

If that's the case she's probably seething with resentment when Gerard comes home at 2:00 a.m. and wants to do the nasty. So yeah. Lots of headaches.

Really? She should be thrilled he still desires her after having his baby.

Anonymous said...

Watchmen was a huge disappointment to the people who made it. It didn't make nearly as much money as they expected.

People go to comic book films wanting to see heroes. Real heroes, not anti-heroes and weird dysfunctional family heroes. I just don't see the Umbrella Academy being very successful except among extreme comic book nerds and Gerard's remaining fans.

Anonymous said...

Really? She should be thrilled he still desires her after having his baby.

How old are you?

Anonymous said...

Exactly. If Watchmen was a box office flop and has been around for 2 decades and has a huge cult following, UA wouldn't even be a blip on the radar.

Anonymous said...

"How old are you?"

I'm not the original poster, but in my case, I'm old enough to know that men become sexually disinterested in their wives after childbirth quite often.

Anonymous said...

Really? She should be thrilled he still desires her after having his baby.

Men don't stop wanting sex after their wives have babies. In fact, a lot of them want it more because they feel insecure that the wife is spending so much time with the baby. Often new mothers are overwhelmed and find it very hard to pay their husbands the attention they want.

Some men realize that this is a temporary situation and they learn to deal. Others act like spoiled children. Which category do you think Gerard falls into?

Anonymous said...

I'm not the original poster, but in my case, I'm old enough to know that men become sexually disinterested in their wives after childbirth quite often.

Exactly, that's why she should be flattered. And I'm old enough :)

Anonymous said...

maybe they could make an animated straight to DVD movie voiced by disney kids. it might actually be a bigger success if they marketed it to kids, especially considering how rabid disney fans are.

Do you think Lindsey should be "thrilled" that her husband wants to have sex with her? Give me a break. That's the most idiotic thing that has ever been posted here.

Anonymous said...

7:45 you don't read sarcasm very well, do you?

Anonymous said...

I never said I agreed with the "thrilled" part. Anyone who would be thriled to bed that gargoyle needs psychiatric help.

But it doesn't look like she's beating off men with a stick if you know what I mean.

Anonymous said...

That certainly wasn't my experience and I've had two children. I don't know any of my friends whose husbands became disinterested after childbirth either. Usually it's the wife.

Anonymous said...

There's something very wrong if your husband or wife doesn't want to have any sex with you.

Anonymous said...

7:45 you don't read sarcasm very well, do you?

Sarcasm doesn't always translate on the internet, especially when dealing with MCR fangirls. They say idiotic things that you wish was sarcasm, but it turns out to be for real.

Anonymous said...

There's something very wrong if your husband or wife doesn't want to have any sex with you.

No, not if it's a temporary situation caused by the stresses of having a new baby. It's very, very common. And very normal.

Anonymous said...

I know a couple of men that did go off their wives. They're now divorced. I think it can happen to both sexes.

Men who don't want their wives after they have children usually have very deep-seated issues about sex and women. If they can't find their wives attractive anymore because they're mothers there is something very wrong.

Anonymous said...

which is exactly why i wouldn't put it past gerard

Anonymous said...

which is exactly why i wouldn't put it past gerard

No, neither would I. But I think he's gay anyway so I doubt he ever really wanted her all that much to begin with.

Anonymous said...

I think that is a very simplistic assumption. It may be true for some, but not for all.

Anonymous said...

their "deep seated issue" could be that they're pigs and were only with her for her looks or sexual appetite to begin with.

Anonymous said...

I think that is a very simplistic assumption. It may be true for some, but not for all.

No, it's really not. I've done extensive reading on this very subject and seen a marriage counselor because my husband and I had problems with our sex life after children.

Occasionally men will be afraid of having another child because of what they witnessed their wives go through in childbirth and that will turn them off sex for a while, but it's usually temporary.

Like I said before, women very often have little desire at first because they are so exhausted and overwhelmed because of the demands of taking care of a baby.

But, if a man simply doesn't think his wife is attractive anymore because she's a mother, then he has real issues and needs to see a shrink.

Anonymous said...

Blegh. Why are we talking about those two cretins' sex life anyway?

Anonymous said...

No, it's really not. I've done extensive reading on this very subject and seen a marriage counselor because my husband and I had problems with our sex life after children.

Sorry, I'm not meaning to be rude to you, or invalidate your experiences, but it would not pertain to everyone. Everyone has a different perception and experiences things in their own unique way. I suspect emotional maturity also has a bearing on it.

Anonymous said...

I don't mean to invalidate your experiences either, but for a man to suddenly "go off his wife" after she has a child is not a normal thing at all. It's a sign of significant problems that go much deeper than emotional maturity. And it's very misogynistic.

8:23 said...

Or it's a sign of much deeper problems in the marriage.

Like I said before, if it's a temporary issue that comes from trauma over the childbirth that's one thing. But just thinking that your wife isn't sexy because she had a child... that's another.

Anonymous said...

I am prepared to concede that misogyny may relate to some men, but not all. Some men are not all that deep.

Anonymous said...

Any man who would no longer want a woman just because she gave birth to his child isn't worth having.

I don't know why, but I just looked through Chantal's tweets and not even she bothers to speak to Frances anymore. Hypocritically bitching about Ali Lohan was really a bad move for her.

Anonymous said...

I don't think Morningwood got as much mileage out of Chantal's friendship with Frances as she was hoping to. Apparently the CD buying public doesn't base its decisions on the who the seventeen year old daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love listens to. So, what's the point of keeping a seventeen year old kid hanging around if she's not helping your career?

Anonymous said...

Who buys a one bedroom house? I didn't even know there was such a thing.

Didn't the real estate listing that was posted here a long time ago say the house had two bedrooms?

I'm thinking they had to convert their stinky "costume room" to a nursery.

I barely see alicia,lyn-z,and mikey tweeting her either. maybe they're on DM now.

Anonymous said...

DM?

I don't think any of them have spoken to her on her new account. They're all following each other, but they don't speak to her.

Anonymous said...

I barely see alicia,lyn-z,and mikey tweeting her either. maybe they're on DM now.

But what would that bunch of attention/fame whores get out of DM-ing each other? Lindsey, Alicia and Chantal couldn't show people their connection to 'rock royalty' and poor Beanhead couldn't brag about being friends with those asshats to make little fan girls jealous.

Btw, do you think that's MCR's Brian Schechter? Link.

I'm also wondering what happened to Riot Squad? Wasn't Brian the boss of that company and didn't he also have a record label. I read in an article that he had an internet site (recenter.com) which apparently should have been similar to MySpace and probably also BN or other social/music community sites. Well, that site doesn't exist. I guess there must be more behind that story. I doubt that he left the music biz only because he didn't earn enough money with it. In that article it says that he left school early to become the next David Geffen and that music is his life. Hmm...

Anonymous said...

Brian shut down Riot Squad and now Drive By is without a label. I read this on their myspace, I think?

And what a dump for 1.1 million dollars! My house is much nicer and I didn't pay half that for it. Why would anyone want to live in LA?

I'm surprised Frances has kept her twitter private for so long.

Anonymous said...

I'm surprised Frances has kept her twitter private for so long.

She might not have a choice. What with her mom being in so much trouble over her twitter, being sued and all, their lawyer might have advised Courtney to make Frances keep her twitter private.

Anonymous said...

from what I remember of her public tweets frances wasn't shy about saying how she hated what her mom was doing and how she couldn't wait to turn 18 and be free of her. who could blame her really. so for all we know she could choose to keep it private on her own so she doesn't go down the same path as courtney. which after the ali lohan deal it looked like she might have.

Anonymous said...

I think Frances loved the attention she was getting on twitter. But after it all got so negative with her little Ali Lohan rant being plastered all over gossip sites everywhere with people calling her a 'chip off the old block' so to speak, she didn't like it so much anymore.

I think she'll eventually make her twitter public again.

Anonymous said...

Maybe Frances made some new friends in NYC and they told her that only 14 year olds and middle-age women are fans of MCR. You saw how quickly she dropped Twilight when she learned it wasn't cool. Maybe she's the one who is backing away from them.

Anonymous said...

and you saw how she vehemently denied ever liking twilight at all. she went to the premiere of the first one for fuck's sake.

Anonymous said...

Yeah and her mother was trying to fix her up with RPattz. I'm sure that wasn't all just in Courtney's head. Frances must have said she thought he was handsome or something. Although I'm sure she would deny it now.

Anonymous said...

I feel kinda bad for Chantal. After all the pimping out she's done for her record it didn't even chart on Billboard 200.

Anonymous said...

isn't robert pattinson in his mid 20's or something? ew

Anonymous said...

I'm pretty sure that when Courtney wanted to set them up Frances had just turned 16 and RPattz was 22. Not that big an age difference if both of them were adults but Frances wasn't. Still closer to her age than any of the people from MCR/MSI/Morningwood.

I also doubt he will target it at little kids... it could be possible to sell it there but knowing him he'll take it way to seriously.

Anonymous said...

I also doubt he will target it at little kids... it could be possible to sell it there but knowing him he'll take it way to seriously.

He said he didn't want to make a kiddie film, but I don't think TUA will appeal to a mature audience. The studio has to know that and they're probably just humoring him. If this thing does get made I have a feeling that he'll fall out with the producers and wind up being very bitter.

Not holding my breath though. I don't think TUA the movie will ever come about.

Anonymous said...

Teen girls aren't the only group into comics, far from it. The reason the market is saturated with comic's turned film's is because there is a large enough audience out there to envelope/support what comes. Some of it is crap, but that doesn't mean the people interested won't eat it up. GW's comic is deffinately known and different enough to pull in some masses. Not even in relation to his being a "Rock Star," just in terms of his comic, and the industry. No doubt they will try to use his "pull" as a singer, but it really won't matter. There are enough people interested in the genre to make it at least to film, whether it will be good or not. Which I doubt will have anything to do with GW himself, as often the case with the original writers. Try to see it from a logical point of view. The comic industry is booming, regardless of who is invloved in the comics themselves.

Anonymous said...

I am looking at this logically. There are so many other comics that are better that haven't made it to film yet. TUA's characters aren't well-developed enough and I don't think there has been enough of a storyline yet. I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon.

Anonymous said...

I guess time will tell. I'm not going to hold my breath either.

I wish I could agree with that, but unfortunately I can't. Hacks are getting book and movie deals up the wazoo; it seems to have little to do with actual talent. And definitely things like "plot," "characterization," "solid themes," and "a faceted story" come in a bad second to "what the teenies like."

Yes, there are TONS of better comics--some even original and with authors who give a crap about plot (remember Douchebag's interview about how he was just too good to care about plot?)--but those are not making it to film or even getting much recognition.

And this isn't just in the comic-to-movie industry, but everywhere.

Twatlight, anyone?

Wow, he really said that?

Anonymous said...

i remember that interview, it was around the debut of dallas i think. he just seemed to cocky and out of it.

Anonymous said...

The difference between Twilight and TUA is that Twilight already had millions of fans before the films were even made. Females from the ages of 10-70 (seriously, I know some really old ladies into Twilight) were in love with Edward Cullen even before RPattz entered the scene.

I don't see any of the characters from TUA having that kind of following (or any following, for that matter). None of them are particularly sympathetic or attractive. Most of the accolades the comic has received have been for the artwork which won't be present in the film.

Yeah, some comic book geeks will go see the film and the remaining fans that Gerard has (if he has any in 2012 or 2013 when and if the film ever comes out), but will that be enough to ensure box office success?

Kinda doubt it.

Kapunua said...

Yup, he did say in that interview that he didn't worry about unimportant things like plot. Douchebag!

6:45, I don't think it would be a box office success unless big companies put a lot behind it. But I do think it will get made.

Oh well, jut another thoughtless, unmindful hack who gets lucky and then all "Oh, el oh el, I don't need to worry about, like, writing and stuff!" Happens all the time.

Anonymous said...

Fans of Preacher have been waiting ten years for it to be made into a movie. There have been countless false starts and the press always acts like it's going to be a sure thing "this time", but it never materializes.

If TUA gets turned into a film before Preacher does there's going to be some backlash.

Maybe now he doesn't care about such things as lyrics that make sense too?

- and unrelated, but who are some female rock musicians you guys admire?

I like Kim Gordon from Sonic Youth- I love her voice and how she adapts it to suit the mood of each song and she's a good bassist.

And I've been listening to Veruca Salt a lot lately- Nina Gordon and Louise Post are awesome.

I do love Hole too and think that Courtney Love is talented, despite how she comes across.

Brody Dalle and Ladyhawke rank up there too. And not sure if The Dresden Dolls are considered "rock" but I like Amanda Palmer too.

Anonymous said...

its still crap

Anonymous said...

Someone's posted the AP cover at BN. Complete SHADOW PUPPET.

Anonymous said...

imoutofnamesx3? Yeah, sounds like a shadow puppet to me.

And lol @those pitiful fangirls who say they're going to buy all six issues.

I guess the band finally decided to embrace their inner Twilight.

Anonymous said...

Mikey's cover doesn't even look like him and Bob's is downright scary.

Anonymous said...

lol, MCR is the Twilight of music.

Anonymous said...

Now you know why he clipped off his rat's tale. They made him do it to sex up MCR for all the new album publicity. Teenie invasion here we come!

Anonymous said...

Is it just me or does Bob look like Santa Claus's illegitmate son in that pic?

Anonymous said...

Is it just me or does Bob look like Santa Claus's illegitmate son in that pic?

LOL! He totally does. And he looks like he's made of porcelain.

Anonymous said...

From the looks of those pictures the name of the new album should be We Sparkle in the Sunlight.

Or This is the Face of a Killer.

Or Our Own Personal Brand of Heroin.

Anonymous said...

Or we're desperate to sell our new album

Anonymous said...

Or Damn, Why'd We Have to Go and Blow Our Chance for Big Sales and Turn Down the Twilight Soundtrack?

Anonymous said...

Worked for Muse.
Surely they don't think they're better than Muse.

Anonymous said...

The thing is, despite how bad the Twilight films may be, the soundtracks have been excellent and from a commercial standpoint it's been a good decision for bands to be on them.

I can understand why bands turned it down, but when when you consider that artists like Thom Yorke, Bon Iver, Muse, Iron & Wine, etc. agreed, it's not like they would have been in bad company...

Only MCR's music sucks and those bands' music doesn't. Maybe they were afraid those other bands would make them look bad.

Oh, but MCR is the "best band in the world." *rolls eyes*

Anonymous said...

Oh, but MCR is the "best band in the world." *rolls eyes*

What? Didn't you know?

Anonymous said...

MCR is not even in the same league with those other artists/bands. I wouldn't doubt if the people who put together the Twilight soundtracks turned them down.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, Gerard does tend to warp the truth sometimes. Like when he said that he was the one who decided not to continue with Breakfast Monkey because they were talking about merchandising... making toys and pillowcases and whatnot. LMAO. Turns out Cartoon Network passed on it.

Anonymous said...

I never knew he said that... but I remember it being to do with Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Seems he doesn't deal with rejection very well.

Anonymous said...

I think something like that goes past "warping the truth" and falls under "lying his ass off"

Anonymous said...

I think something like that goes past "warping the truth" and falls under "lying his ass off"

And judging from his absence of ass, that's something he's done all his life.

Anonymous said...

I think I remember Gerard saying that he and Mikey couldn't play outside as kids so they had to make their own worlds inside and he lied a lot.

Old habits die hard I guess.

Anonymous said...

I'm thinking this is Frances's new twitter account.

Anonymous said...

If it is, then it's about time she made it private.

Anonymous said...

huh. i knew that was her account a while ago cos chantal sent tweets at it. last time i saw it it was private. guess she really couldn't resist the attention.

Anonymous said...

Wow the profile picture Lindsey has of herself on her twitter is horribly unflattering. She has dark circles under her eye (the one that's showing) and she looks very tired.

Maybe she should hire that AP photoshop person to come in and make her look ten years younger.

Anonymous said...

the dark circles arent that bad tbh. they could be a hell lot worse. only makes me think she put a shit ton of makeup on for that shot

Anonymous said...

I swear, Voluptuosity should win the Mindless Drivel Of The Year award...

Anonymous said...

What's she on about now?

happyXamp said...

thank god she got rid of that hideous picture as her background... or my computer's being nice and not showing it...

i think 7.06 is talking about this

If you mean the Dallas photo, it's still Lindsey's background. She needs it there to show people how "edgy" she is.

Anonymous said...

Lindsey is old news. She is boring and shows limited respect for others.

Lindsey is old news. She is boring and shows limited respect for others.

But of course she's a srs artiste. She has "artistic license" and doesn't have to be respectful when it comes to "art."

Does anyone know whether she's any good at visual art? Or is she just as "amazing" at it as she is at bass?

Anonymous said...

If Lindsey is considered an "artiste", then I would consider everyone here an artiste too.

Found this on Ticketek's website:

Few bands can match the level of fan devotion heaped upon My Chemical Romance; and rightly so, as they have truly earned their status as one of the most exciting bands of this generation. The fact that the devotion is returned in equal measure by the band makes it even more of a phenomenon.

My Chemical Romance's second studio album 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge' went on to sell over 2 million copies but it was the theatrical concept album, 'The Black Parade' that catapulted them into stadiums across the globe. "This is one to file alongside 'American Idiot', 'Doolittle' and 'Nevermind' on your greatest rock albums shelf "– NME

With their souls bared on truly astonishing lyrics, backed by infectious and intricate music, the band are well known for giving their all on the stage and as Blunt Magazine so succinctly puts it they are simply "one of the greatest live bands in the world."

I know it's the sell tickets and all but The Black Parade is no Nevermind.

Anonymous said...

^It's no American Idiot either.

Anonymous said...

They can hype MCR all they want to, if Gerard doesn't do something about his voice, eventually everyone is going to see through this band.

Anonymous said...

Funny how none of MCR's records even made NME's list of the Top 100 Albums of the Decade when they supposedly ranked TBP up there with Nevermind, isn't it?

Anonymous said...

The fact that the devotion is returned in equal measure by the band makes it even more of a phenomenon.

My ass. This band is only devoted to its own ego.

Anonymous said...

How many copies of The Black Parade have they actually sold so far?

Anonymous said...

I don't know for sure but I think it has sold somewhere between between 4-5 million copies worldwide. Not bad, but certainly no American Idiot or Nevermind.

Anonymous said...

it went platinum in the UK

Anonymous said...

Okay, gross. Mikey has dirty fingernails. Scroll up to look at the first and second pics.

That is sooo disgusting.

Anonymous said...

when did caps lock become so popular in this fan base? i never noticed it when i was involved but now it's everywhere and hurts my eyes

and is it just me or does mikey look more like gerard now?

Anonymous said...

and is it just me or does mikey look more like gerard now?

Maybe it's the dirt/grease/sweat/etc.

They probably smell a lot alike too.

Anonymous said...

Wow, they seem to be aging really quickly.

Anonymous said...

They're both just fug. Hence the bad photoshopping on the AP covers. The only one whose face still looks decent is Frank. The rest of them are getting all wrinkly and Mikey looks like a greaseball.

I still think these pics are better than the AP cover.

Anonymous said...

at least these aren't shopped to hell

Anonymous said...

I can deal with wrinkles and imperfections, but the AP cover makes them look like vampiric clowns.

Anonymous said...

I can't deal with greasy hair and dirt under their fingernails.

Anonymous said...

Maybe his wife should tell him he needs a good clean. Unless she's not very hygienic herself.

Anonymous said...

From what she's said herself it doesn't seem like she has any better hygiene habits than her husband.

Anonymous said...

Both of the Ways stink. Their wives must smell the same.

sally said...

You must know them very well 2:50.

Anonymous said...

Frank knows the Ways very well and he's said in interviews that everything they touch smells like armpit. So, you know. Unless you think Frank was lying, I'd say both the Ways stink.

Did one of the "Lovelies" just forget to sign out before commenting?

Anonymous said...

Oh my God! So much for them saying they aren't sell outs. Having your pictures taken with products so you can get them for free is really lame. They're rich, they should buy them! It would help the economy.

Anonymous said...

Which Lovely are you talking about, 6:37?

Anonymous said...

I wouldn't think the lovelies come here. They don't want to hear anything bad about their fantasy men. They probably even like the AP covers.

Anonymous said...

LOL at the word 'lovelies'. Do they call themselves that? It reminds me of the wicked witch of the west calling Dorothy 'My Pretty.'

Anonymous said...

LOL

The idiot at 6:37 is imagining things.

Sad Fucker!

Anonymous said...

Hi, Mya.

Anonymous said...

Speaking of wicked witches...

Anonymous said...

No, 6:37, I'm not Mya just an anon who only comments here.

You are still a sad Fucker though.

7:20 said...

I'm not 6:37, just someone who doesn't appreciate it when someone comes here and starts calling people names.

If you aren't Mya, maybe you should should stop acting like her.

Anonymous said...

6:37

Just admit your mistake. You don't need to keep bring up "Lovelies" here.

Let us just carry on as we are.

Anonymous said...

I don't think anybody likes those shopped covers. Not even the most ardent fangirls.

And seriously, what are they doing at the AMA's? It's not like they were nominated or anything.

I can't believe Mikey is showing off skincare products with those nasty fingernails. Maybe he's been working on Gerard's Trans Am?
